Pros:

Absolutely none!

Cons:

Causes EXTREME irritation and drying of the skin. Causes little red (blood filled) bumps around mouth. Causes MORE acne!

So I have mild acne-I get maybe 2-4 pimples a month typically. Since I went off my birth control I have been having there horrible breakouts, so I went online looking for a good spot treatment gel and stumbled upon Murad on amazon. I read the first page of feedback and they were all very positive. I went to the mall and bought the spot treatment on Saturday and tried it out. The next day my face was burning, itching, and covered in little red bumps. Now I am using burt's bee's and tea tree oil to calm my skin down-this happened after ONE treatment! Don't buy this product it will destroy your face. Why would you by a product that only works for 10% of people, with the majority breaking out worse. Use gentle cleansers, tea tree oil, and on occasion Borghese fango active mud-that stuff works!

This stuff I really had high hopes for but the truth is that it is crap. This stuff burns your skin and makes it very dried out. They do give you a lotion with the package but it doesn't work either. Maybe there was a reason that this product didn't have any spokespeople, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK.. I am going to try proactiv and totally give up on this crap. Don't buy this worthless product.

Pros:

Cleared up skin... for a week or so.

Cons:

WAAAY OVERPRICED!! Acne came back... twice as bad! Very harsh treatment - dried the hell out of my skin, caused small bumps around my jawline and chin, itchy, burning, flaking skin. I was more ashamed to go out in public AFTER using these products!

I WISH I WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT ALL THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I STARTED USING THIS CRAP! THATS WHAT IT IS CRAP!!! FIRST OF ALL I AM COMPLETELY CLEAR NOW THANKS TO THE REMARKAMBLE PROACTIV SOLUTION!!! I STARTED USING PROACTIV IN FEBRUARY OF 2005. I STARTED USING IT BECAUSE I HAD BEEN USING PROACTIV AND WAS ACTUALY ON STEROIDS FOR A SICKNESS WHICH GAVE ME A FEW BREAKOUTS NOTHING MAJOR SO I AM THINKING MAYBE THE MURAD WILL HELP CLEAR IT UP BETTER THAN THE PROACTIV. BIY WAS I WRONG!!!!! I BEGAN USING IT AND THE FIRST WEEK I REALLY SAW NO IMPROVEMENT OR ANY BREAKOUTS AND THEN BY THE SECOND AND THIRD WEEK MY FACE WAS COMPLETELY OVERED IN TINY BUMPS IT ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE A HEAT RASH ALL OVER!!! I WAS INCERDIBLY PISSED OFF!!!! I CALLED THE MURAD PEOPLE AND THEY SAID THAT THIS IS THE PURGING PERIOD, BULLSH*T!!! YOUR SKIN IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BREAKOUT ALL OVER THEN CLEAR UP. I RETURNED IT. NOW I AM BATTLING SOME MILD SCARRING AND HAVING TO GET GLYCOLIC PEELS. USE PROACTIV NOT MURAD!!!!!!

omg where do I start?

This product is awful, it is expensive and it ruined my skin! I had mild acne after my child was born and I purchased this product after seeing an informercial. I only had small pimples before using this, after I has HUGE cysts on my cheeks and hairline which I had never had in my life. It was so painful and so horrible to look at I became severly depressed. My doctor actually recommended Accutane after this! Instead of doing that, I started using Acne Free and my skin is SO much better now, I have a pimple from time to time, but doesnt everyone? Do not waste your money, you will regret it

This is THE worst product I have EVER used. I was so excited to get it for christmas. Then I used it and my skin got SO MUCH WORSE. I used it for a month and a half thinking it would get better but it didn't. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

This stuff is the most horrible product I have ever used. I have been a Proactive user for 2 years and I decided to go with the acne complex since my skin is immune to proactiv...and I have mild acne. After using Murad for a little over two weeks it made my breakouts the worse they have ever been AND I am breaking out in places I never have before. DO NOT BUY THIS IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going back to Proactiv until I can find something else!

i used this stuff a few month ago and it sting like crazy and didnt do anything to clear my skin not even a bitt worst thing ever hate it. my face is still bad and today when i wake up it was even worser help what should i do im tired of trying things that dont work.

This product sucks!!! I had very high hopes and I was wrong. My acne got much worse after using this product. The only positive was, the company did give me a full refund. Don't bother!!!
