Dry red skin, painful blisters, more breakouts

I am convinced this product doesn't work on sensitive skin. I used it lightly as the package said and then increased over time. I had a light breakout and after a few days I had 3 times as many bumps - and they were large and painful. I used the spot treatment which made them blistery and has taken over two weeks for them to heal. Normally I would get one or two of these type a month and it would be about a 5 day healing cycle. I had to stop using it because I was afraid the purging process would never end and I am too busy with work to wait for this embarrassing time to end! I also noticed that my eyes look very swollen - similar to how they look when I have allergies. It is just too harsh for anyone with sensitive skin! Don't believe the commericials! What is really strange is that I keep reading great reviews until I found this site where everyone is having the same problems I have!

Pros:

The moisturizer is good.

Cons:

It made my acne so much worse. It irritated and inflamed my skin and is expensive!

I can take 50mg of accutane a day at the same cost of Murad Acne complex.

Don't buy it.

I need a system 2 COMPLETELY get rid of my light pimples n scars 4 good. I was just about 2 call them and order the product but something told me 2 read some reviews 1st.. THANK GOD I did.. I am NOT going 2 buy it! I use 2 have moderately severe acne until I went 2 a store that has natural skin products (all products have natural ingredients). I started taking these herbal pills called hair, skin, & nails .. those pills ALONE REALLY help my skin TREMENDOUSLY.. along with that I use black soap with cocoa butter (or I THINK it might have shea butter but either 1 will help) every morning and a reg.scrub @ night (cheap Walgreens face scrub works 4 me).. about 3 weeks ago I started using a spot cream 2 fade my acne scars more, IT WORKS.. and about once a week I use a mask.. its powder stuff called "Indian Healing Clay" that I mix with raw apple cider or just water. It may sound like a lot of products but they're cheap and they all work.

Pros:

Does make your face feel clean

Cons:

Pricey, some products in kit smell medicinal

This product made my skin worse. I completely understand the "purging" process but one would think that if a product is supposed to help your skin, the breakouts from purging would clear up at some point. Mine didn't. I only used system for 2 weeks but blemishes did not clear up or look like they were even close to getting better. They actually scabbed up!

Affordable with a well known name

Cons:

Does not work and even if you cancel the membership, they continue charging your account.

I ordered Murad for my daughter and she tried it for 2-3 weeks. It made her face very irritated. She only finished the trial. Before I could even cancel the membership, we received a new package. I called to cancel immediately and they requested for me to mail the box back for a refund. I asked the representative to charge me for that package because I had no time to go all the way to the post office. Murad has charged my account over $200.00 and I left messages and e-mails and no answer.

I only used the claifying cleanser I never really had acne but i used to any way after i stopped using it my face broke out like crazy and still is Dont buy it : '( now that i have acne i feel llike sh*t.

Cons:

Within a 2 week period, i went from having the occasional break out , to having breakouts all over my face, were not talking a few here or there, 30-40 all over!

I would never recommend this product to anyone, it has made the last few months of my life hell. My skin is disgusting thanks to the acne complex, i used to get the occasional breakout just like everyone else so i thought i would give this a try to keep everything clear all the time, and was horrifid when my skin starting breaking out everywhere, in random places i have never even had a zit before..i stopped using it well over a month ago and my skin has still not gone back to normal...DO NOT TRY THIS PRODUCT! i wonder how they are even aloud to sell something this destructive!!!!!!!!! It basically gives you the opposite of everything it promises!

There are no pro's,

Cons:

no signs of working after 10 days, the next 20 just made it worse and breaks became even worse.

Dont waste your money, the product barley lasts 30 days, the skin perfecting lotion lasted about 16 days and called costumer service and complained they did nothing, terrible product

I WISH I WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT ALL THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I STARTED USING THIS CRAP! THATS WHAT IT IS CRAP!!! FIRST OF ALL I AM COMPLETELY CLEAR NOW THANKS TO THE REMARKAMBLE PROACTIV SOLUTION!!! I STARTED USING PROACTIV IN FEBRUARY OF 2005. I STARTED USING IT BECAUSE I HAD BEEN USING PROACTIV AND WAS ACTUALY ON STEROIDS FOR A SICKNESS WHICH GAVE ME A FEW BREAKOUTS NOTHING MAJOR SO I AM THINKING MAYBE THE MURAD WILL HELP CLEAR IT UP BETTER THAN THE PROACTIV. BIY WAS I WRONG!!!!! I BEGAN USING IT AND THE FIRST WEEK I REALLY SAW NO IMPROVEMENT OR ANY BREAKOUTS AND THEN BY THE SECOND AND THIRD WEEK MY FACE WAS COMPLETELY OVERED IN TINY BUMPS IT ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE A HEAT RASH ALL OVER!!! I WAS INCERDIBLY PISSED OFF!!!! I CALLED THE MURAD PEOPLE AND THEY SAID THAT THIS IS THE PURGING PERIOD, BULLSH*T!!! YOUR SKIN IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BREAKOUT ALL OVER THEN CLEAR UP. I RETURNED IT. NOW I AM BATTLING SOME MILD SCARRING AND HAVING TO GET GLYCOLIC PEELS. USE PROACTIV NOT MURAD!!!!!!

glad I didnt order after reviewing all of these.

I called and the first thing they asked me was my credit card type and card number. I then said WOW can you tell me about this product first and they said ' well what do you want to know mam, didnt you get all of the information off the info(on TV)' .....How unprofessional and sounded like a scam. Will never order from a business like that. BYE!
