Pros:

Clears up skin effectively, Helps a lot

Cons:

If you don't use it on a regular basis 2 times a day, doesn't help

Since I don't buy the kits, I buy full size products individually the cost is a huge amount, but I convinced our clinics to start selling it so I get it for free now. But it has cleared up alot of my skin, the exception being on my cycle and when I sweat a lot. It has helped so much.

Pros:

Cleanser cleans without drying
smells great
leaves face feeling clean, not oily

Cons:

allergic to all other products in the line

I've been an acne sufferer for over 20 years now. Murad was the first product that actually worked for me when used in combinations of other product lines. The key to fighting acne is finding what works in COMBINATION with your skin. I love the Murad cleanser...but can't use any of the product because it causes me to breakout. I use just good old Clearasil ULTRA for spot treatment and the Arbonne's thermal facial scrub once a week. This combination is what works for me to keep my skin glowing and clear. There is no such product that will leave you acne free. it's in the genes. But, finding a good product like Murad's cleanser used with other products is what keeps my flares down to a zit or two a month. For me, that's winning the battle.

Pros:

Love the tingling after washing my face.
Clears my skin right up when using twice a day.

Cons:

Price, but my insurance pays for it..

I've tried a lot for my acne. Proactiv made my face so much worse and dry. This is the only product that clears up my skin within a week of washing my face twice a day. If I don't use it twice a week, I'll get maybe 2 or 3 pimples. Everyone who says this product "sucks" must have really sensitive skin.. Cause it's the only thing that works for me. I must just be lucky. I just love ittttt.

Pros:

Doesn't dry out skin
Moisturizer is non-greasy
Nice lather on the cleanser

Cons:

Pricey
Takes a couple weeks to see a difference
Would be nice if it came with a toner

I had pretty severe acne when I was a teen, but even at 24 my skin is always extremely oily and I frequently have clogged pores and at least 2-3 zits on my face at a time. Since my skin is so oily I didn't find that this product dried it out too much. I really appreciated how the moisturizer is light and non-greasy because I usually stray away from using moisturizers because of this. I have been using this for about 4 weeks now, and my pores are virtually un-clogged and my overall skin tone (redness and scaring) has decreased quite a bit. Maybe this stuff isn't the greatest for severe acne, but for twenty-somethings with mildly problematic skin it's probably worth a try!

Pros:

Works great!

Cons:

Price

I had tried everything! Proactiv made my skin WORSE, Burts Bee's Acne Treatment moderately helped my skin, and any drug store treatment did little to nothing. While I won't sit here and tell you that my skin is 100% clear 100% of the time, I do have some light acne scarring and a few pimples now and then, but Murad cleared up my skin as best can be expected. I'm no longer self conscious about my acne, and with a little bit of makeup I feel downright great! I plan to try and use the product that lightens post-acne scars soon, and hopefully that will lighten some of the damage that was done by proavtiv and just simply not having a good treatment. But in the end I would totally recommend this. It works differently for everyone, some people do well with different things, but the $25 offer is worth a shot. If you don't see your acne clearing up in the 4 weeks, Murad probably won't work for you. But be sure to give it the full 4 weeks!

Pros:

Reduced Breakouts after the third week and made it look a lot healthier.

Cons:

You have to be super consistent stick with it and eat a little bit healthier.

People can't just say "o im gunna but this on my face and its going to clear up." You have to follow the instructions they give you exactly. They also tell you that your skin will purge. Making old covered up blemishes come to your attention in a mission for more HEALTHY skin.

No longer a skeptic!
I started dealing with breakouts by 10-11 years of age. I tried every cream, medication and face wash that I could find. Creams dried me out, medications cause gastritis/acid reflux, and face washes didn't seem to help. It could be an expensive face wash kit or it could be your average store bought product. Neither worked for me. In the last 2-3 years of my life I seem to have had some hormonal changes (26 now)? I have more acne than I did in high school, and my weight has been harder to control. I lost any extra pounds that I had found over the last couple of years, but the acne persisted. It comes in a range of acne disasters. -I have the terrible, deep, long-lasting acne that occurs on my jawline and sometimes on the cheeks (usually half a dozen of these at a time). -I have white heads, blackheads, and extremely clogged pores. That being said, I was wary about the 'purging' process. Many claimed it wasn't a purge, but a breakout. Well, my large cystic acne went away within a week of use, but the rest of my face appeared to be all bumpy/pimply. Here's how I have handled this.. I don't wear makeup unless I really need to. Around the house, with family, grocery shopping.. I'm 100% makeup free. I'm waiting until my skin has fully adjusted before wearing my 'non-clogging' makeup. If it clears nice enough.. I may stop makeup use all together. I'm on the second week and everything is clearing up. I still have remnants, but they're clearing too. Now.. how to handle dryness you ask? I'm from NE, Ohio.. I know ALL about dryness. My face is crappy, it's greasier than a tub of lard, but it dries and flakes due to looking at it the wrong way. I use a dime sized amount, maybe even less, per use. I also listen to my skin. I have the 5 piece set. I use all items in the kit, but some days I skip different pieces. If it's feeling a little dry, I skip step 2 and go straight to 3 for moisturizing. If I'm feeling extra oily, I use step two and skip 3. All in all.. I didn't think it would work, but it has. The only cons I see are: -Size -Cost -Smell is a bit off putting (for the sulfur spot treatment) PS.. the difference between a purge and any other reaction is that a purge is any area that may have had clogged pores. I know mine was a purge, because I know my forehead, nose, and cheeks were terribly clogged. Any unusual itchiness or severe redness could be a poor reaction.

Pros:

High hopes. Slightly clear

Cons:

Honestly I didn't break out worst. But I got a lot of annoying whiteheads. Definately not a good product.

I wouldn't reccomend it. Maybe if you're in a knitch try it. It could work.
