total garbage
Way back when I tried Murad, it was because Proactive (BP) stopped working on me, and my boyfriend at the time was broken out and wanted to try something. We both gave it a shot, both got worse with no signs of getting better. What is this stuff and why do stores still carry it, and for exorbitant prices?

A Mediocre Product

Pros:

Price
Accessibility

Cons:

Lack of viable results

I have tried Murad numerous time, and I have gotten mixed results about their products. Hence, I don't know how effective they are. What really worked for my, with break outs and scarring is an all natural product I have purchased from Holystic Hut dot come, I have used the spot treatment "Almogan" their Detox Tea "Nikuzit" and their moisturizer "Neve" all you can find at Holystic-Hut website

Murad ruined my skin.

Pros:

Cleanser feels and smells nice.

Cons:

Spot treatment smells gross and stings. The moisturizer is a little greasy. I would have to powder or remove the grease.
Made me break out and scar horridly. Every single day.
Expensive. With small bottles.

I've always had a problem with acne. Been battling it since I was about 12 years old. And after trying everything, I thought I would give murad a shot. I tried it out for about 6 months. I went from breaking out maybe 2 or 3 times a week to breaking out every day. My jawline and cheeks were the worst. And my jawline started to scar horridly. These products were also very expensive. It's really not worth your trouble.

Cons:

I've been using this product for about 3 weeks now . At first it looks like its clearing up then out of no where breakouts formed in places where I never broke out before, I would not recommend this product to anyone...waste of time and money!!!!

upset

Cons:

did not work
causes skin to burn
blah

I bought the kit about five weeks ago. I noticed results right away after using for the first few weeks....then out of the blue I began to break out in places where I usually never break out. I have a mild case of acne, and this did not do anything. I am overall upset with this, I think I had better skin when I was using any random brand found at the store. I used to use Olay's acne kit, and it worked WONDERS for my skin, but then they discontinued it... I thought Murad would work, sadly it has not.

Pros:

smells nice

Cons:

more break out, oily, no results!

The worst product so far I tried. Does not work, they rip you off and then charge your credit card fir refills! Strongly recommend any other product. The worst customer service, and money hungry company, Please avoid all together Murad! I wish I did research before wasting my money and time on a wasteful product. I recommend Proactive....

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

-DOESNT WORK AT ALL
-MY SKIN NEVER ONCE IMPROVED SINCE THE DAY I STARTED USING IT
-PEOPLE WHO ANSWER PHONES NEED LESSONS IN PEOPLE SKILLS (HORRIBLE AT COMMUNICATING)
-PEOPLE WHO SHIP OUT ORDERS NEED GLASSES TO GET ORDERS CORRECT

Dont waste your money on this rediculous product; it didnt work at all in the 6 months that I used it PLUS the people who answer the phones need an attitude check because they are incredibly rude, "Katie" specifically who is supposed to be one of the managers. They sent me orders that I never ordered and charged my debit card, then they tell me to refuse the package and I still have not recieved my refund. I would NEVER recommend this product to anyone because the product does not work and because the service is rediculous.

Pros:

Feels fresh afterward

Cons:

New acne

I've been using the product for a month: Week 1: Wow! my skin is consistently clearing up! Week 2: Occasional unexplainable zits. Side effects perhaps? Week 3-4: Uncontrollable acne all over. I have been using the product twice a day. I love the feel of it - not drying, fresh, lotion is a must. I liked the combination of the spot treatment and the Salicylic Acid gel. However, after 2 weeks it's all back and more! I've heard of developing tolerance for any acne medication you use, but in 1 week?!! I am going to a dermatologist next. I don't recommend the product, because of lack of its consistence. Also, keep in mind that purchasing a 30 day kit, you will be charged full price every 30 days thereafter.
