Pros:

NONE

Cons:

WILL make you break out badly, more often, more severe than ever before, and in places you never broke out before.

I wish I could jump into a Deloreon and go back 7 years before I ever put this awful stuff on my face. I had very light breakouts that were pretty much gone (I was 24) and very light post acne marks/enlarged pores on my cheeks that bothered me. Damn that stupid infomercial selling this false miracle cream--I got suckered into ruining my skin. Because I this stuff, I got horrible acne that never went away. My skin is now very oily and the breakouts that popped up in new places are still frequent visitors on my face. Because of this stuff, I have never had a 100% clear skin day. My texture got weird, my skin always feels greasy now and the scars it has left is just shattering. This completely ruined my skin and I have yet to find a solution to undo this damage. Zero stars if I could. I personally despise Dr. Murad now :(

Pros:

Smelled good

Cons:

Moderately severe acne became raging acne! My entire forehead, which had a few zits, was covered with zits days into the treatment. I quit after a week. Am going back to proactiv.

Purging period? No thanks! Want my money back!

Pros:

the moisturizer is nice

Cons:

the cleanser is super overdrying and made my skin cracked, irritated, and broken out

i've been using this for at least four weeks. when i started, i followed the instructions exactly. however, when i got further into the regimen (2 or 3 days or so) my face was covered with tiny bumps, itchy, dry, and red. i didn't use it for a while and then i started again, incorporating dan's cleanser into the mix. without the super-drying cleanser my face felt better and wasn't irritated, but it was super shiny. i started mixing dan's and murad's cleansers together to make one just right, but my skin is peeling badly and i can only put the products on at night. i hope this ends up working for me, but i'm doubtful. TRY DAN'S REGIMEN BEFORE THIS! USE THIS AS A LAST RESORT!

Pros:

None

Cons:

leaves skin oilier, made acne worse, expensive

Simply put Murad is terrible. Im in my early 20's and I have mild-moderate acne. After trying proactiv for a while and not completely sastified with the results ,as it left my skin flaky and dry and I always seemed to continue to get pimples, I decided to switch over to Murad after seeing the informercial on television. Big mistake! I started getting hundreds of tiny pimples on my forehead, and also in areas where I usually never breakout (for example: under my chin, side of my face, upper lip and nose) and worst of all I started to get cystic pimples in areas as well, this was something I have never experienced before in my life! It became so bad that I didn't want to even come out of the house! I continued to follow the regime for about a month because they said to stay on it for a the full 4 weeks to see results. I did and I seen results alright, Very bad ones. It just made my mild-moderate acne to severe. I would never recommend this treatment to anyone. Save your cash!

Pros:

Its feels good and smells nice.

Cons:

Makes you worse than you ever started off

I had pretty bad acne...well now i see, that i had nothing compared to what i have now. I was using Murad for a while and getting horrible dryness, redness, acne and cystics all over my face...my chin, cheeks, jaw line, ears, forhead...pretty much everywhere. I never even brokeout in most of these places before. I kept changing my make-up products thinking it was them...until i did some research on Murad and found out so many people were having the same problems. My face is so bad right now that i have a doctors appointment set up for next week that will cost me over $900. I am embarresed with how long it takes me to put it on and how much make-up i now have to wear every day to cover this up, and it still shows through (its that bad) NEVER BEFORE, have i had such BIG acne. PLEASE! DON'T USE IT! IT DOES NOT WORK!!
