Pros:

Cleanser is super gentle, smells great, lasts a long time.
Moisturizer is ultra silky and lightweight, not oily.

Cons:

Be prepared to deal with purging...
Exfoliating gel *does* smell weird but you get used to it.

I have been using this product for about a month, and during this time my breakouts have gotten worse. I figured there would be a week or two of purging and then I'd see results, but I hadn't. So in my frustration, I found Dan's regimen. I haven't actually switched products, but I did follow his application, and I learned that application is just as important as the product itself. I saw immediate results. Here's what I now do: 1. Use a generous amount of cleanser. Work the lather in your hands before moving on to your face. Lightly glide your hands (more like your fingertips) across your face for about 15 seconds. 2. I stopped using the toner and instead apply a generous amount of the exfoliating gel. Glide lightly, just like with the cleanser. Let dry. Rub in a dab of spot treatment if needed. 3. Moisturize! Most importantly, DO NOT PICK. Keep your hands away from your face and only use light pressure when cleansing and applying products. I would say tr

Pros:

-Made Skin soft
-Easy to read instructions
-Works Wonders with acne

Cons:

-Still will have a breakout every once in a while and doesn't remove blackheads sufficiently
-Will dry out your skin at first if lotion isn't applied properly
-YOU WILL BREAKOUT IN THE FIRST MONTH OK????

Murad is my REligion. Before I began using Murad I used Proactive, which was ok, but didn't seem to do the job, still giving me breakouts, and REALLY dry skin. So I switched over to Murad near Christmas in 07 and WOW! Even the bumps under my bangs and around my hairline, Murad got! The only problem is it didn't sufficiantly remove blackheads, and another thing, if you arn't switching over from an 'effective' cleanser then YOU WILL BREAK OUT, because it's taking out the dirt from your pores. But if you have patience and use the prduct as instructed YOU WILL HAVE AMAZING RESULTS!!!

Pros:

gets rid of blackheads, comes with a moisturizer, spot treatment gets rid of new blemishes

Cons:

stings a little, expensive

Don't use the exfoliatiing gel as often as advised by the box. I use the lotion from the kit once every day, and another non-irritating lotion the rest of the time. Although this seems to not work well for some people, I have used this for a while now and have seen far fewer new blemishes. My skin looks good. It's expensive but potentially worth it. Just pay attention to the signals your skin sends you--if it hurts, slow down with the acids and sulfur and moisturize it.

Pros:

clears skin in weeks.

Cons:

treatment gel dries out skin.

it has helped like nothing else i think the people get bad results because they use the acne treatment gel too much. i use it only once every other night and the cleanser and lotion twice a day every day and the regimen works perfect. its been 2 months and i have no whiteheads or blackheads or nothing. this really has worked miracles on my skin. i tried proactiv and that didnt work for me.

Pros:

The smell is nice and ever since the first use my face felt extremely hydrated and soft.

Cons:

Nothing really... I havent experienced anything bad with it.

Acne needs time and patience. Some people may say that they get a massive increase of acne.. but thats just the purging process. You have to stick out with it until that process is over.. than you will see beautiful results. I have severe acne.. and have had it since i was 14. I've used, proactive, skinID, neutrogena, biore, clinique and every other possible acne treatment... and this, so far, has worked the best for me.

Pros:

Everything worked! I finally found a product which removed my spots. The first week you could

Cons:

I didn't find it sooner + the second medication stung my face, but then sometimes I used an excessive amount.

I would buy this product if you had mild acne like me. Yeah the price is a bit... off, but if you really think about it all those times you were looking for the right medication, in total you might of spent more than $100.

Pros:

Nice fresh feeling and smells nice, and also cleared up my acne!

Cons:

It took awhile. I have been using it for a year and a half and at first it made my acne worse, but then one day my acne quit coming up.

It works. It takes awhile, but it works! At first i did not have any faith in it. But my Facial lady who knows all about this stuff and highly recommends Murad, said that it gets worse before it gets better. So i kept believing her, and it finally works. At first i had dark spots from where my pimples use to be, and i still have a few, but i bought the Lightening gel and it's starting to make those dark spot go away slowly. I guess patients is a virtue with Murad. I would definitely recommend it I'm nineteen and have struggled with acne for years and i finally found something that works. I buy everything with it though so it can get pretty pricey. Oh and if your face hurts, the lotion and face mask makes it feel much better!

Pros:

This is an amazing product. I have struggled with terrible acne for most of my life. I have tried everything under the sun. A friend told me about Murad so I thought why not it's worth a try. This product has changed my life is so many ways.

Cons:

Waiting for it to start working. Going through your acne having to get worse for it to get better, but it was well worth the WAIT!!!

Anyone who has bad acne of any kind try this product you will be so happy with the end results. My family tells me I seem so much happier now that my acne is clear. This product does not work overnight. It has taken about two weeks to see improvement.
July 4, 2007

Pros:

it doesn't make your face worse when you start it. and it doesn't dry out your skin.

Cons:

the smell worsens after a while

this is a great product. what i do is when i feel it's not working i won't do 1 application. but i do suffer from light acne, like before i started using this product i had maybe 13 pimples over my face. i also use the mask once a month (because i really have no dry skin, thanks to the "skin perfecting lotion")lol.

Pros:

It pretty much cleared up everything, except for maybe about 3-4 tiny zits. But thats amazing for me.
My forehead, looks like a baby's forehead now its so clear.
Made girls more attracted to me, and I didnt feel like they were staring at my acn

Cons:

Purging process is a mother ****. Made me break out like crazy.
Burning feeling in the first two weeks.
Dried my face terribly, but it could of been from the cold/winter. And there is no way it takes 4 weeks to work, its longer, but WORTH IT!

It has cleared up my acne SO MUCH! I used to get big red pimples on my forehead, sides of my face, and all over chin and lower jaw. It takes longer then 4 weeks, but you gotta try it. Ive tried everything, Proactiv, Clearsil, Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, Prescribtions from doctors and dermatoligists, and Murad, is the thing that worked. Im telling you, dont listen to the other people, they must of not used it right, this works.
