Pros:

Cleared up skin very quickly

Cons:

-It dried out my skin so much it flaked
-It bleached all my towels
-It started burning after a couple of weeks
-Too harsh for sensitive skin

After I stopped using it, my skin couldn't really absorb moisturizer very well so it took about three weeks to recover. I use more natural remedies along with my cleanser and moisturizer and my skin is taking to it much better. Plus it was so expensive.

Pros:

Sadly, none.

Cons:

I hate giving negative reviews, but I feel as though I need to say something about this...

I have hormonal acne and I break out monthly when I start PMSing. I woke up three days ago to a new breakout on my right cheek near my mouth and resorted to AcneFree to help dry it out (my mom had purchased the product a couple months back but it hadn't ever been used). I used it for two days and I noticed my break-out had slightly worsened and my skin was quite red, and I woke up this morning to find that my entire chin area and forehead had broken out in a huge, inflamed RASH. I immediately threw the system in the trash and returned to my normal skin-care routine (consisting of only organic products). I applied Extra Virgin Olive Oil to my entire face and it immediately helped with inflammation and my rash is now 50% gone. Congratulations to all who had success with this product...but for those with sensitive skin like me, I highly recommend you consider using this product.

Pros:

Price was inexpensive; paid 21.99

Cons:

Severe allergic reaction

Do not like this product. Used first evening and next morning. Face became extremely red, itchy, splotchy red patches, tingly, swollen cheeks just under soft eye pads and eyes swelled almost shut (from histamine response, as I did not use it on my eyes.) Never had any reactions to benzoyl perioxide before. Had to take benadryl which helped. Just glad I didn't have to go to hospital for shot of epinephrine.

Burnt my face big time
MUST READ!!!! Like a lot of people on this thread who didn't like this product, I didn't like it either. And for a lot of the same reasons I see here - when I put it on, I felt like my face was on fire. I read up on what to do and I did everything I could in order to make it bearable - I iced my face, I took ibuprofen but it was extremely painful. To the point where I couldn't even touch my face sometime. It was also extremely embarrassing because my face was so red and it just felt raw. I am a subscriber to 'it gets worse before it gets better' and I had read all of the good reviews on this site also so I was determined to make it work but I just couldn't handle the pain after about a week of suffering. So I stopped and almost immediately my face got better. It took about 2 days for the redness to go away and for my skin to stop feeling windburnt. And lovely, I still had acne after the redness went away. I guess the good news is that the redness hid some of my spots! I chose this because it was the cheaper solution to Proactive, but in the end I probably should have gone with Proactive - maybe they would have had better customer support. But after this experience, I was just done with the big brand solutions. When I called them, they were zero help. None, zilch. Just told me to return the product, which I guess was respectable but at the same time, they just told me to try their sensitive skin one. Without even knowing more about the issues I was going through. I almost did it but decided to do a little more research and called a couple of other companies including Exposed, Proactive and this small one called Ninja that a friend had told me about. The ONLY one that gave me decent advice and insight as to what on earth was happening to me was Ninja. Everyone else was just trying to sell me the same stuff that I had a problem with at AcneFree, Eg. Benzoyl. The lady I spoke with at Ninja really knew her stuff and told me that it seemed like I had a problem with Benzoyl which is super funny because I had tried a bunch of stuff in the past with benzoyl and had itching but never really thought it was because of the benzoyl. So, I went with them because they were the only ones that seemed like they knew what the heck they were talking about. Went with their benzoyl free option, it has sulfur in it instead, and honestly, I have never even experienced clearing like that before. I also use their sulfur mask now and there are no more spots, no more bump and AND the scars are fading. I am almost to the point where I don't think I will need to wear makeup soon. All I am saying is that if this product isn't working for you, you might have some issues with Benzoyl like I had. Everyone always talks about how benzoyl is the only way to clear acne but its not the case! There are other ways and you shouldn't try and make something work if your skin isn't having it!! I always had heard was to suck it up, that it will work but you never hear that you should listen to your skin, your body. Listen! Check out all your options '˜cause there are a lot out there.

Pros:

Flattened bumps, but did not get rid of them, they stayed red. Thats probably the only somewhat positive effect it had.

Cons:

Gave me rash all over, burned my skin constantly and made it really dry.

Terrible, waste of money, dont use it.

Pros:

none

Cons:

My husband and I have been trying these products for almost a year now, and with no positive results. Even with the sensitive skin line, we have ended up with dry, swollen, raw skin, even when used sparingly, and haven't had our acne reduced at all by these products. After having to go out in public with my skin so red and flaky and puffy, constantly burning for days on end after having used the Acne Free products, I will never purchase one again. Ever. Also, the pockmark filler did nothing.

Don't even bother with it.

Pros:

-makes your skin glow!
-Worked after 3 to 1 week, but that's it
- not expensive.

Cons:

-Dries out very very bad.
-You realllly need a moisturizer or else it cracks the skin.
- After a while, it 4 weeks it didn't work anymore. It only made my face very red, and it burned.
- Made some of my scars less noticible.
- Didn't get rid of all my scars and acne

I am very dissapointed in this product, as it didn't work for my type of skin. I've put so much money into acne products and medications from my doctors and dermatologist. I've but this product, because I've heard very good comments on the review. But I really regret it now. I will stop using toxic products on my face, as it only burns it.

Pros:

Like Proactiv, but cheap.

Cons:

Irritates the skin and simply doesn't work.

It is AWFUL. I used the stuff ONE time and it turned my skin red. I looked like a had a sunburn. Then I used the toner, thinking it might cool my skin down some, and it burned. I came back to look in the mirror five minutes later and my skin was peeling. I don't even have sensitive skin. I usually use a Clean & Clear face wash, Stridex pads, and an Olay face lotion. If my face can handle mixing products, it should be able to handle this one product. DO NOT BUY THIS. It does not work and it with make your face worse off.

Pros:

inexpensive, easy to get

Cons:

used the cleanser, does not work

I've used Proactiv for a while now. I couldn't afford it so I decided to try Acnefree. I was only using the cleanser with Proactiv and it worked fine. So I decided to only use the cleanser from Acnefree. I did not get the same results that I got from Proactiv. My face is worse than it has been in a long time.

Cons:

acne free is not the best to use!

The sensitive skin regimen made my skin almost clear but i started to use the regular acnefree after i could not find no more of the sensitive skin one. AcneFree made my skin worse than what it was. My face went from a few whiteheads to A lot of big painful black heads, and pimples, I could not use it again....
