Pros:

Reduces size and magnatude of large upcoming bacteria infested zits. Removes smaller popped pimples and erases chance of scars.

I have been using neosporin for a little over a month and have seen a smoother complexion overall. I used to have uneven skin due to constant breakouts. Now i have practically no breakouts and even when i get a pimple, it is so tiny that it disappears within a day or less EVEN WHEN I Dont use the neosporin. I believe my face had such a hard time healing before because i didnt have enough good bacteria to kill the bad bacteria, but now i have been saved!

Pros:

Cleared my face within a week. I love it. ^_^

Cons:

None.

The past year I had mild to moderate acne. I tried every product out there and nothing helped. I was so desperate to try to solve the acne problem I ended up giving myself chemical burn. It was that bad. Lately it has been as bad though, but last month it got worse. Every time a pimple disappeared, one would show up right next to it. It was aggravating. So, my husband told me to try neosporin. So, I'm like wth let me give it a shot. Within one day I saw a HUGE difference. The redness went down as well as the bumps. Right now its almost a week and all the zits are gone. But honestly it works. But like acne product out there there is a 50% chance that it may or may not work for you. I was lucky enough to have this work for me. I just apply the neosporin on ONLY the acne. Do not apply it all over your face. Just dab it on the problem areas. I also do not wear makeup so it does not affect the healing process. If u see one dat is about to pop use a needle and clean the area.

Pros:

It helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, so they can heal fast.

Cons:

It may clogs your pores

I started using neosporin to heal these horrible blemishes on my face. I was going somewhere really important, and I didn't want to get embarrased. It was like a miracle for me, because come the day i was supposed to leave, ALL of my blemishes were gone. Now whenever I have a pimple, I go right for my neosporin. It's the perfect thing to use.

Pros:

Heals popped zits quickly decreases inflamation and redness

Cons:

Can't use long term

This is a great product for treating those big stuborn pimples that don't seem to go away...it is honestly the only thing that works for me, and so much cheper than the $250 cream my derm perscribed. But it can't be used as an every day routine because your skin will build up a resistance. :(

Pros:

heals acne FAST

Cons:

a bit greasy

I have had mild acne for 5 years now and tried everything from proactive to azaleic acid to murad to natures cure ..EVERYTHING, you get the point. but i cannot praise neosporing enough, although I've only been using it for 3 weeks, my acne has drastically reduced.. it has completely cleared my skin. and when i notice a zit coming on, i have applied it, and it is gone in 2 days. TRY IT!!!!

Pros:

- Dramatically reduces size and redness
- Helps heal the scars acne leaves behind

Cons:

NONE!

I use Proactiv (which works wonders for me) but I would still get one or two HUGE blemishes on my face that would take days to reduce in size and, since of course i couldnt help myself and popped them, would leave behind dark scars. I decided to try Neosporin and IT WORKS WONDERS. I bought those little circular bandaids and I put a dab of Neosporin on and then cover it with a bandaid before bed and the next day the pimple is either reduced to almost nothing with little redness or the blemish is completely gone. I also apply it to residual scars from previous acne and it helps lighten them as well. NEOSPORIN IS A MUST-HAVE!

I was looking around for some information on neosporin and I found a website that said neosporin should not be used long term because it actually kills the agents that help the skin resist bacteria. so DON'T depend on it to treat acne because it will be harmful in the long run! You can take a look at the article at [link removed]

I need to add this comment for you too, because you are yet another person who has no idea what you are talking about because you have never tried it. DO NOT review something if you haven't tried it. You are ignorant to the subject.

Pros:

It helps heal up picked or popped pimples faster and helps reduced scaring.

Cons:

none that I can think of.

I used the Neosporin plus pain relief because it is CREAMY not greasy. So it doesn't have Petroleum Jelly base so it then shouldn't clog your pores more. It of course cost a little bit more and its smaller but it so much much better when you need to use it on your face I know now that Target has their own generic brand of it I haven't used it yet because I still have the name brand but I plan on using that soon. I'm sure there isnt too much of a difference

Pros:

I used it on this crazy, unencapsulated cyst that had overtaken my entire chin and it was noticeably smaller the next day.

Cons:

Had to be careful when sleeping that I didn't smear it off on the pillow. Greasy.

Haven't tried it on face allover, but will definately use it for acute issues again. It kinda felt prickly, itchy when I first put it on clean, dried skin.

Pros:

it heals the marks left behind from when you pick at a pimple. If you picked a scab, a dab of this will help to heal it and diminish the redness (just like it would on a cut).

Cons:

its not a product for acne, only for cuts and scrapes so just use it if you've picked a scab on your face.

it helps to heal the mark and also helps to fade the redness and stops any infection.
