Dude, a scar cannot spontaneously appear suddenly. Either you didn't notice it before or you probably put your head somewhere where that indentation came.

Retin-a isn't gonna do ANYTHING for your scars.   They are depressed scars. You need 2-3 subcisions with a heavy laser like fraxel repair.
