Best filler for indented scars?

Recommended Posts

Any HA fillers will work. Voluma tends to last the longest. After that, you might want to consider permanent filler like Bellafill.

Before you get fillers though, you should go or subcision first.

Has it been there a long time?   If it has been there for a long time and appears to be permanent than something permanent can be considered, but the last thing you want is to inject it and then the area fills back up and you have a permanent lump.

It's always best to try a temporary filler first to be certain you like it.

This, it is not uncommon for the cortisone injection sites to refill after several months or longer. Ask to have it flushed with saline if its within 1 year. Outside of that, consider an HA filler injected after subcision. If you get bellafill go to an expert, do not skimp on price, the skill of the injector for something like bellafill is crucial, it is permanent and irreversible, will require surgery to correct.
