Hello!
2 years ago I got cystic acne all over my face, and now I have some scarring left. The scarring looks worse IRL than in the pictures, but you can get a sense of the type of scars. I'm pretty sure I have a mix of icepick, rolling, boxcar typ scarring. Also have a keloid scar but it's underneath the skin so luckily you cannot see it unless I stretch the skin. I've been using a 1.5mm dermaroller for the last 6 months without any improvement so far. I want to do some professional treatments to at least minimize the scarring.
Thank you
@MyemyeThank you for providing pictures
I see box cars, icepicks, and large pores, ... some PIE or redness post acne. In fact I still see acne. This needs to be under control before treatment or you can spread the infection making more scars. Microneedling/ stamping on it's own is not a cure for scars. It's a good treatment to do at home in between Dr's treatments. In your case I would have you get something like the Derminator(Google It) and use the single needle attachement to really work on the border walls of your scars and under that box car. monthly between Dr's treatments which are done every 3 months. I would alternate with glycolic peels. Overall your skin is in good condition.
