I have redness on my face (mostly on my cheeks just under eyes and forehead) and would like to know what kind of treatment would help with this.

also there is a red mark left over from a lesion removal and am curious what people think on how to reduce/eliminate the redness.

thank you

I wonder if this is rosacea starting up.

Also, what's your diet like?

Pretty normal diet, nothing out of the ordinary. I am lactose intolerant so I avoid food like that. Also on a side note I had a facial done yesterday and my skin reacted so badly to it and is now red and inflamed.

Whoa! Don't do that facial again 😉

I asked about diet because the more I learn about it the more I think skin stuff can be affected by diet. If you went low carb (keto) and/or even just paleo (all real, whole foods), I have a feeling your inflammation and redness might subside to the point where you're happy.

Rosacea, dermatitis are my best guesses. Test your skin if you have other symptoms like super sensitive and ask a derm if you should test econazole for 2-4 weeks if you get many of these flare ups or abnormal reactions. If you have sensations like itching or other things also a red flag. Try econazole over ketaconazole because it's much softer and tolerative. Dermatitis is common and misdiagnosed constantly for "rosacea" or "sensitivity" or so on.
