Hello!

There's one hyperpigmentation on my cheek that never seem to fade a bit after almost a year.
It was an under the skin bump, I squeezs it hard almost a year ago, with other spots too.

But for some reason, other spots are alreadying fading, yet this one is still as dark as before.
It's now flat on surface and looked very normal, but just that it doesn't fade much.

Anybody have similar experiences and how can I deal with it? Thanks.

What color is the spot exactly? Also when you stretch the skin, does the spot get lighter or does it not change in appearance?

Thank you for replying!
It's brown in colour. Does get a bit lighter when stretched. Others from the same squeezing period got light red already. What do you have in your mind? : ) It should fade but take another year?lol

If it gets lighter when stretched than that is good news as it is epidermal hyperpigmentation. I would recommend considering lighteners like prescription hydroquinone or non-prescription vitamin C. Or you can consider chemical peels likeglycolic acid or kojic acid.
