Maybe so, of what I see is just a change of angle. I got 2x more marks than you, and have not seen improvement on myself.

Regardless if you did improve or not, that is good you are positive on that matter.

Also, personally I can only say that something improves if it really solves the problem.

I use this with Benzaclin, I'm sure it's ok to use it with those products you listed.

I'm pretty sure you can use anything with it... it's not like it will cause a serious fatality or something if you mix it with any other prescription or OTC product.

I have some pretty bad redmarks compared to the other people who posted pictures on this board. I see their pics and I'm like "Wow, you're complaining/worried about that?"

Anyways, I've been using Aqua Glycolic cleanser + Moisturizer combo for a month now and uploaded progress pics onto my gallery if anyone wants to see. I don't even know if it has been helping, but it hasn't gotten worse, so I'll keep going until I run out.

**the ingredients for Aqua Glycolic are the same for the M.D. Forte cleansers..

what's the difference, besides the price, if any? M.D. Forte tells you the percentage amount of glycolic compound but Aqua Glycolic doesn't. Also, both doesn't list the pH level. anyone know the missing information?

EDIT: has anyone used both Aqua Glycolic and M.D. Forte, which do you prefer and why?

I dont think any exfoliating product, no matter how gentle, would go well with accutane. I heard some bad stories about that....

Aqua Glycolic does, it's on the website. It also tells the pH.

M.D Forte is expensive, screw that. I'm getting good results just using the Aqua Glycolic toner.

Guys check out my album, I uploaded Before and After Pics!

http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php...&user=60932

No improvement...

Man, AG aint really gettin me nowhere, my marks havent faded, nor has it aided in the oilyness of my skin, and neither has it improved in stopping lessions from appearing.

Been using it for months now.

Are you messaging it on dry skin and then adding water to it and messaging again or you are putting water on your face first? Youre supposed to put it in dry skin. If you arent, try that

Hm... I think it helps me reduce oil. I use it after I apply my Benzaclin, I wash first, then benzaclin, then toner, then the lotion.

has anyone here had any success with the reduction in redness? i'm not really breaking out so much, but rather have discoloration in my face. The area under my eye, and parts of my nose are yellow, but my cheeks, forehead, and upper lip area are red. It's just reallt awkward looking.

i think im getting the same thing .... at first i thought it was stress from exams and everything, but come to think of it, it started happening before the stress

what i noticed after using the toner was that the area under my face (not the neck) broke out horribly and i havnt gotten acne there since junior high, thats a good 5 years ago, and im starting to get some on my hairline, which i had never had much either

i had mixed the bottle with a little water a while back, but now that someone else had the same thing i think imma ween off the toner

Guys,

I could cry. My face is breaking out worse than when I was a teenager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am using:

AM: AG cleaser, then AG toner, then cetaphil spf 15 then Physician formula makeup

PM: AG cleanser, AG toner and alpha hydrox souffle.

My face looks like the surface of the moon. So many active whiteheads and bumps. Greasy. Absolutely hideous. Aweful aweful aweful.

I want to stay with it in hopes that this breakout will clear up and leave me with nice skin, but it doesnt seem to be getting better. just breaking out more and more. this is so embarrasing! what should i do???

Check out my response to you on the other thread where you posted. SOunds like a lot of people are having problems with the toner? Maybe that could be the culprit?

I've been using AG cleanser for a month now and I absolutely love it. It gets rid of any new pimples. BUT, I still feel little bumps on my face and would like to add a BHA. I am unsure when I should use the BHA; before OR after I wash my face with AG cleanser? Thanks to anyone who can provide some advice :)
