ahhhhhh this isn't working that fast for me, i've been using it for almost 2 weeks (Sunday) and nothing's really changed. i still have these red marks. and they are VERY VERY VERY RED. And they're everywhere. it's like i still have acne. people think i still have acne, i bet.
anyway, would it be foolish of me to use the aqua gylcolic cleanser and then moisturize with bio oil? maybe if i use both together THESE FUKEN RED MARKS WILL DISAPPEAR.
dare to dream....
le sigh
lol i know how you feel marytaker. I've been using this product 2 weeks aswell but had to stop it because it broke me out badly and didnt do anything for my red marks. grr ntohing has ever worked for my red marks.
acv - broke me out
fote aloe vera gel - broke me out
aqua glycolic - broke me out
tea tree oil = broke me out
basically everything i leave on my face breaks me out, but anything i clean off my face be4 it absorbs into my skin, doesnt break me out. It;s really irrataing, so i dont even bother trying emu, bio, jojoba oils.

Look into the threads for Sudocrem. It seemed to help mine.. But everyone's skin reacts differently.
I was using it in combination with the AG until my face started to freak out (Because I suddenly stopped B5) and I'm taking a break from it until I get back to normal.
I'm still have success with this product, thankfully. I think many of you should be a little more patient with it, as nothing will help right away. I'm guessing this is especially true with topicals that don't treat the underlying problem that's causing the acne

QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO GOT BREAK OUTS: what kind of breakouts did you guys get? were they just small white heads only or did you guys get a whole lot of cysts also? cuz im getting those...
"For sure. If you go on their website... the toner is the product they recommend for acne-prone skin. Plus the extra glycolic acid staying on your face all day and night really speeds up the improvement in overall skin clarity and a better complexion."
really now? do you guys think maybe its possible to get results by using the toner but using a different cleanser? i've been using the cleanser only and it breaks me out.

are you using just the cleanser or using the toner also? just curious....

how long have you been using this stuff? did you use cleanser only?
Update 1 week in:
Ok I feel like my marks are fading, but I have started getting breakouts. Just little guys, nothing serious. Of course I cant leave them alone! (again another issue). I'm definately gonna stick it out with this, as i really dont want to go back to BP.
Other things I notice that I hoped would go away. My face is SOOOO oily!!! I thought it was at first going to be my skin overreacting to not having BP, but one week later, its still a grease pot. This morning I didnt wear moistureizer thinking maybe that was what did it, but nope, today i am still so greasy. I have to wonder if its my mineral makeup, as I started that at the same time as the aqua glycolic. I hope try it one day (maybe on a weekend, or at night right after work) without makeup to test this theory. I also got the Everyday Minerals sample...none of the colors i got were right, and color aside, i looked like i had a mask on my face. while it provided good coverage i reminded myself of a corpse and you could see all my pores. VERY scary. the physicians formula seems like a finer grade of powder IMO and looks more natural.
so one week in, greasy and small break out. scars less visible though.
After just reading this thread today, I decided to pick some up. I was able to grab the cleanser at the Wal-mart Pharmacy for $15 bucks. For being 8 ounces it's not a bad deal.
Anyways, after just applying it for the first time, I have to say it's pretty easy to use. Besides the fact of it feeling like I'm rubbing someone's cum all over my face, it seems very light and goes on easy.
I left the AG on for a few minutes before I hopped in the shower and I got no tingles or stinging at all. It was as if I really was just rubbing cum all over my face because there were no physical effects at all, which makes me question the strength of this product.
I will be using this new cleanser as a replacement for my BP for a month and I'll see how it goes from there. Just hope my dermatologist doesn't find out about me not following the regime he gave me!

:naughty:
After applying the toner and letting it dry, I make a little mixture of some 100% AVG and a few drops of Jojoba Oil in my hands and apply it. The AVG alone makes my face feel .. Weird. Tacky, almost? I love Jojoba Oil too much to give it up..
But, like.. AVG feels watery, so aren't I almost "rinsing" off the GA in the toner by moisturizing?
Tonight, I skipped moisturizing entirely.. Just used the cleanser and toner, and I'll see how this works.
I've gotten in such a habit of moisturizing that I'm freaking out by skipping it. Rah.
By the way.. The person who compared AG to sexual fluids made me giggle.. I never really realized it until I read that. Haha. Apologies for being immature..
I've been using it, for a month and my breaks out seems to be slowly getting better but the red marks are not going away. Not even a bit. Is anyone using Aloe Gel at the sametime as this and does it work, cause I hear good things about that to.
ive been using aqua glycolic for about 2 1/2 weeks now, my skin is staying clear for the most part but it's not doing that much for my red marks. a couple days ago i started moisturixing with 100% aloe vera gel in conjuction with the aqua glycolic and i really think my red marks are clearing up!! def give it a try 🙂

Try using the AG toner, it's made for oily skin. I've noticed that my face gets a bit oily during the day, and my face ONLY seems to develop any whiteheads at all during the day.. .NEVER during the night anymore... I think it's because I'm using the Cetaphil moisturizer during the day and not during the night... It says its non-comedogenic, but it contains stuff that is KNOWN to be comedogenic.. haha, I think im gonna switch to the PEL basics protective sun creme... I keep saying that but I haven't bought it yet ><.
Srry for the gross pics :'( but i found that either sweating or taking hot shower aggreviates the skin, and red marks seem to stand out a lot more, so i purposely did it for pics. ( when im normal, marks arent this severe :/ )
before and after is about 1 week of my regimen
i wanna mention that the reason why i have so much acne in my after pic, is because ive been staying up 2 hours longer then i usually do, studying non stop for mid terms, stressss etc... they werent there till my frantic studying began
so yea... i give it a couple months or so and it should all be good, but cystic acne from stress just seems impossible to control

Just got the toner, and will start that tomorrow, as it says use it once a day. We'll see,
Hopefully bye bye grease!

No improvement...
Man, AG aint really gettin me nowhere, my marks havent faded, nor has it aided in the oilyness of my skin, and neither has it improved in stopping lessions from appearing.
Been using it for months now.

You must have eye problems or something, there is clearly improvement.
