Hey all,

I just recently searched Internet to find more information about red marks and how to get rid of them and found some websites about AFA peels ( Amino Acid Peels). I've never done any peels so I wanted to ask if anybody has ever had AFA peels ( Amino Acid Peels). If yes, than how did it work for you? Are peels in spa salons good solutions to red marks problem??

Thank you.

Bio-Oil and Sudocrem seem to be two things that people are raving about. Figure I'm going to try one of them unless someone recommends something else. Which of the two would you recommend? Currently I'm using BP (Duac) and Tazorac. I think I'm going to cut out the BP but stick with the Tazorac. Can I apply these (Tazorac and BO/Sudo) at the same time or should I use at different times of the day? Currently just use Tazorac at night but could move it to the morning and use the other I choose at night (heard Sudo is thick, haven't heard how BO is).

Thank you :D

I have found that to reduce red marks left by breakouts, specifically in trouble spots with pimples tht break out again and again, that after about three months of tretinoin in a topical gel can help at the 0.5% strength. I tried Atralin. I have had severe, persistent, annoying acne for about 5 years, and it really did help them fade. I also use a little witch hazel as a toner which really helps reduce the appearance of reddened or inflamed pores. Good luck to all.

I haven't seen anyone mention Maderma  Is it not a good choice? Why/Why not?

Personally I've found that, while Bio-oil does help stretch marks, it hasn't been very helpful with my red marks from old acne. You could try it because people react in different ways to various products. The majority of people who have used bio-oil rave about it, and i dont doubt their claims, but for me personally I broke out in little spots when i applied it to my face.

It's quite difficult to know what to try in helping my red marks fade. I live in the UK and haven't heard of hardly any of these products that people are recommending on this thread. Having said that though, I have found some jojoba oil on amazon and I might try that next.

I have two things i use for red marks:

1) scarzone w. salicylic acid and green tea

2) vitamin e scar treatment with onion bulb extract

The scarzone i use when i'm worried that the pimple isn't done being a pimple. When there's just a mark left i use the vitamin e stuff, and if you use it twice a day (it recommends 4) you should see a difference eventually. It takes a long time though. But i was always under the impression that vitamin e is one of the best things for healing your skin.

i've been using Bio Oil for about 4-5 months now.

Positive : $$, hasnt made me break out, smoothened the skin. (dont know its time or bio oil though).

Negative: no help with hyperpigmentation, very oily.

After seeing all the positive reviews for the PureDeming Intense gel I have picked some up. Do people who have used it have any suggestions for use, especially in assocaition with BP? I was thinking about putting the gel on for an hour at night, then showering, and then applying my BP, does that sound reasonable?

Also, I have purchased the toner by PureDeming, which contains ACV, Tea Tree Oil, and Makuna Honey (or however it's spelled). Has anybody used it before? Thoughts? Reviews?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Has anyone tried Clean & Clear Mark Treatment? It is 2% SA with Alpha Hydroxy Acid. I just bought it today (before I was using Scarzone with Green Tea Extract), because I've heard Alpha Hydroxy can be good for red marks.

Any experiences? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend any brand name versions of these products, or products that would be available at a drug store or something? Ordering online is a total pain...

I know that EVOO is used by some to help fade red marks, but I was wondering what exactly in it helps with that process? :)

Hi everyone, I have been using Careline EMU oil cream with jojoba OIL & Vitamin E with success. Its been only two days and my red marks have lightened up significantly. I previously tried 100% aloe Vera gel without success.

I got mine on E-bay. Just type "Careline Emu Oil cream" -

Good luck
