After 8 years of doing all these stupid face creams, I did Accutane. I thought this will finally be it. I did 8 months and 40mg a day. Acne came back after a few months and it gets really bad when I eat junk food, dairy or sugar. I honestly was severely depressed and did not want to go outside (and I still kind of don't want to), but I got myself together and decided to continue looking for solutions.

Since Accutane had a lot of Vitamin A in it, I have decided that I will eat 2-3 carrots a day and take Beta-Carotene supplement. It makes sense that it could work, if Accutane did, right? I also will order Benzoyl Peroxide as I have heard great things about it. On top of all of this, I will keep my diet free of junk food, dairy, unnatural sugars and most high-glycemic foods, take multivitamin, use moisturizer, scrub and face masks.

It feels like I have tried everything already, but I will give this a shot. Has anyone done something similar? What are the results? Thanks in advance for all the replies.

Have you tried a low glycemic diet? Or, maybe going to a allergist to see if they can run a test to see if you are allergic to any type of foods or have an intolerance to any type of food.

i am currently on my 2nd day of accutane and I have an appointment with an allergist next week Wednesday so they can do the test on me. My father is the onr who told me to go and do it because his wife did it and she found out she is allergic to dust and all types of fish (she was getting bumps on her body). She is unable to do much with dust, But she can at least do something about eating fish by stopping. Maybe an allergist can help guide you to a diet as well.

just my 2 cents. I dont know if that shit truly works or not, but I am going to do it anyway since my insurance does cover it.
