Identification Help

I don't normally struggle with acne, but I've had three relatively small flesh-colored bumps on my upper lip line for over a year now. They're not painful or tender and are mostly dormant unless disturbed. Originally I had five, but I picked at a couple of them and (foolishly) tried to prick them once they were red and inflamed which as left me with two really noticeable scars. I'm guessing they'd be some kind of clogged follicle or something, especially since I'm pretty sure that I first noticed them a year ago when I shaved my upper lip (I haven't attempted to do that again since) and a couple of them have the tiniest bit of brown pigmenting on the top if you look close enough, but I haven't been able to identify this specifically yet. I've been trying to exfoliate them specifically when I wash my face for about a week now. There has been no positive changes, if anything, they seem slightly larger but they aren't angry or red or anything.I'd really like to rid myself of them at this point, but I'm afraid to mess around with them. Does anyone know what this is, and/or know of any at-home remedies I could try? Thanks for your time.
