I had mild acne when I was a teen. Nothing makeup didn't cover. I'd been clear since about 18 or 19 up until 3 months ago. I was pregnant, had a miscarriage, when on several oral contaceptives after that, and my hormones seem to have gone crazy. I now have worse acne than I think I have ever had. I'm 27 and feel like I'm 15 again because of this. Its an awful feeling going from confident to not wanting to show my face!!! I went out and bought all the Oxy stuff today and the capsules...I tried Dans Reg. and it made me look worse. I hope this really works for me!!! Thanks BFG, tonight is my first try!!!

Congrats on trying the reg. I think you will have great success. Just dont expect results in 3 days.
I already told you I was going to stick it out for at east 2 weeks. I was just a bit worried as I was already experiencing abnormal results. I was thinking about setting up a live chat session on this reg since this thread is getting close to expanding 10 pages and beyond. I'm really glad the interest is so high for this reg. I think I could really help people out if I can answer live questions people have about the reg. Or more detailed questions. The chat would be on acne.org under the community drop down list. All we need to do is set a time and date. I'm thinking sometime in the evening after supper. What you guys think would be a good time.
I will give about 24 to 48 hours before I set the time and date. So recommendations on the time and date are recommended. I was thinking the live chat session might be away to get more people to try the reg. out. and also invite more people over to learn about the reg.

btw I do use some lotion in the mornings to spot treat some flaky areas. I've done this for a long time, way before trying this reg. My skin just gets a little flaky from washing it I guess. After school I wash it all off and go the rest of the day with nothing on my face.

try taking the pills two at a time. that way it isn't as bad.

Okay it's day five now, umm... lets see,
* the cysts I had haven't surfaced or erupted, but they have shrunken almost to nothing, and are barely noticeable...but they are there.
* At about day three I got a new cyst on my chin and another on my jawline. the one on my chin has been getting closer and closer to the surface, and now is protruding from my face a lot... I'm probably gonna do something about that one today. The jawline one is slower to respond, just a big red deep bump.
* Other than the cysts, the rest of my skin has been clearing up nicely, with no new breakouts or anything. Once my skin got used to it, now it feels good, tight and not oily like before.
* I feel like this regimen is really pulling all the crap out from below and I'm excited to continue with it. Those "new" cysts were probably there already, I just didn't know it yet.
* Not gonna get too detailed, but havent noticed anything different regarding the fiber pills.

hello all 🙂 i too have been on the reg for the last week and all i can say is WOW! my results are almost identical to jeff's. i also stopped spot treating and the difference is amazing! i have noticed positive benefits too from the fiber pills in more ways than one and that's all i have to say about that...lol.
right now i have cleared up all existing cysts, and now there a few coming to the surface but they aren't painful or obnoxious looking. in fact, i think i might be the only one who can tell.

but i had a question for Christy. i've been spot treating some of the embarrassing areas with that adult acnamal... you know, just to help hide them during the day. did you say that you noticed a significant difference in healing time when you stopped covering them up with the adult acnamal??

Yeap you are on the right track. Seeing new cyst pop up while on the reg is very normal infact thats a very good sign things are getting better. Eventually once all the crap gets drawn up. Your skin will have a nice deep clearness to it.

The combination of the two products and having your face not be choked by bp all day allows the stuff to surface at a rapid rate. I will get more in depth with questions like this during the chat.

Hi. I am determined to try your reg. but I have a question. Is it ok to use GNC's purifed psyllium husk in the powdered form. I was told that it was the strongest fiber they sold, and you get 5 grams of dietary fiber in just one serving. I hate swallowing pills so I figured this would be better. Will it still work?

Yeah it probably would just make sure you take enough of it.

I just came across your thread today and became very interested. I always liked the Oxy face wash and it helped control my acne to a degree, but could never get me 100% clear. Maybe with your regimen I can finally accomplish that.
Just a few questions: You say to rinse off the bar soap and the chill factor with a wash cloth? Is this necessary or would simply rinsing it off with water be good enough? What are the benefits of rinsing off with the cloth?
Also for anyone: I'm having trouble finding the Oxy Bar Soap. I've tried CVS and Rite Aid and neither had it. I'd like to purchase it over the counter rather than order online. I remember BFG mentioned Walmart, I'll probably try that tomorrow. Any other places that might stock it?

You might try walgreens. Walmart has it for sure. Plus it would be cheaper at walmart anyway.
I use the wash cloth as this helps ensure all the excess comes of your face. Plus it helps wipe off the dirt and crude thats on your face. You will notice this especially when taking the bar soap and oxy chill factor off it gives a much cleaner feeling then using just plain water to rinse off.
