so im considering starting this regimine just because i know its my own fault that i have all this acne...i used to be completely clear from using neotrogena's oil free gentle SA wash(the orange stuff) and then after a little breakout i decided i needed to start differin and take everyones advice on a "gentle cleanser" which personally makes no sense to me why u need to wash ur mug with something gentle...welllll that wasnt such a good idea because that gave me tons of more little pimples...
the only thing is im scared to start this reg because i wear makeup(im a girl) and i ALSO HATE moisturizers after i wash my face and agree that its kind of stupid to put a film of oil on ur face when u just washed it...the only time i wear moisurizers is when i wear foundation and that is the oil-free neurtrogena face lotion which is like air. ive been using differin for 4 weeks now and dont knwo if i should just keep using it and f*ing up my face (maybe it will get better) or just try this reg with products i know worked for me in the past for many many years...
i see this working great for guys who can just wash their faces and leave it alone for the rest of the day....
any advice?????? oh along with differin during my impulsive desire to clear very mild acne i started taking minocycline and applying topical clindamycin....im a moron.
so since mid October ive been using differin, minocycline, and clindamycin....is there hope for me on this reg?? is it ok to keep taking the mino along with the fiber just cuz i already refilled that crap and i payed lots of $$$ for a load of shat
Well, my face is looking really good after following the reg just like he said to. In the beginning I was using the right pills and wash but I had a hard time finding the soap (I swear wal-mart is the only place that has it) so instead I used a Neutrogena bar. The other thing is that I would only wash my face at night. It worked really well for the first week but it was all downhill from there.
Anyway, now I'm that I'm following it the correct way I have almost no active acne. It's been two weeks through this reg so far. Gotta say I'm really happy about it! Just gotta wait for these stupid red marks to go away.
My point here is that it's pretty important to do it exactly the way bfg said to do it.
So after lurking on this thread for a couple days, today I went out & bought all the shit..
I just took 5 fiber pills (gonna switch to 6 by tomorrow probably)
Did the Oxy Bar & Chill Factor... The chill thing is crazyyyyy!... makes my skin feel like its on fire and frozen at the same time. I kinda like it though. Only thing thats worrying me is the dryness factor... my skin is not oily.. and now its very taut and dry... I don't want to use moisturizer because they make me break out, but will the dryness play itself out?
Yeah, your skin gets used to the bp. Just be careful about how much you apply. For me all I use is a small blob at the end of my fingertip. Too much bp was when I could see the white paste on my face after distributing it evenly. When I do it right I just have a clear shiny layer on my face. If you keep doing too much it hurts like hell to put on your next application.
Check out BFGs site http://oxcleanreg.v33.org/ and read the previous posts, there are definitely some people who claim to be cleared and virtually nobody complaining that it didn't work. Maybe you should try it and let us know how it goes for you?
Ok well no one is answering my questions :snooty:but i will ask again...does this regimen really work???
Can anyone asnwer!!!!!
Are you clear from this regimen?
Thanks
I think I've been lurking long enough.
This won't fully answer your question but I didn't want you to be left hangin.
I have cystic acne. I did a full cycle of accutane a few years ago which cleared me up for a couple of years. I started breaking out again and have been on Differin recently with poor results.
I am now finishing up my 5th Week on this regimen. I only missed taking the fiber pills one day, about a week and a half ago when I ran out of them.
I am just about clear except for one small cyst that just came up a few days ago.
But just as others have described earlier in the thread:
Week 1
Face very dry and flakey but things seemed ok, no breakouts, I thought I was going to clear right up.
Week 2
I was wrong. Face flared up and I got a few very bad large and deep cysts. I got a cyst every couple of days throughout this week.
Week 3
Face started calming down. Cysts from prior weak finally reached points where I could lance them myself. One smaller cyst developed towards the end of this week.
Week 4
Face remained fairly calm and was able to lance the last cyst that came up.
Week 5
Face still calm but certainly not clear because of the recent cyst scarring which will remain for 1 to 2 more months if I'm lucky. However, a couple of days ago another small cyst started to develop. Skin still dry and a little flakey but not as bad as before.
So my breakouts have decreased quite a bit from Week 2 and prior to the start of the regimen to about one cyst per week and a half. The cysts are not as large and not as deep so the scarring won't be as bad. So granted this is better, but I was hoping to not be getting anymore cysts by week 5. I know the occasional blackhead or pimple is to be expected but my hope with this is that the cysts will be eliminated completely.
I will try to continue with this for 2 more weeks possibly but if I get another cyst I will have to start a Ziana gel/antibiotics prescription just prescribed to me. I might do a combo of the two in some way since the regimen might not be enough... But I'm thinking it should be since my acne isn't half as bad as the originator of the regimen made his acne out to be (that's not a knock bfg, I appreciate you posting your findings bro).
Hope this helps

Thanks for taking your time and being kind to reply 😀
I would like to know if the fiber pills are what really makes this regimen work
Nope, it's definitely not just the fiber. The combination of the two topicals are really what works wonders for me.
 I am totally considering stop DKR regimen and start this one because my skin does not tolerate so much BP and it looks worse than ever, i have also open wounds on my face because the BP broke my skin too deep
I was wondering if this regimen causes too much dryness...
Thanks
You will have dry skin for the first couple of weeks because your face will take time to get used to this reg. It will also cause you to break out, but everything that comes up would have come up in a few weeks anyway. It just speeds things along. It takes about a month before you will see progress from this reg. And probably around two before your face gets back to normal completely. I've been on the reg for five weeks and I haven't had any new cysts for the last two weeks. Its important though not to miss any of the washings and make sure to take the fiber everyday.
For anyone who's been on the regimen for a couple weeks...
Is there any chance that it won't get worse before it gets better? Like is there anyone on these boards that from start to finish their acne only improved and nothing was 'drawn out' or flared up during the process...?
I'm asking because its only day 2 for me but I already see an improvement in all my existing acne...and It seems no new acne is on the horizon...I am getting little tiny ones but they don't bother me much... No new cysts which was really the problem.. I don't wanna jinx myself but can it be this easy... or is a breakout inevitable?
quick question-is the regular oxy daily wash with 10% BP okay to use or do you have to get "oxy 10 chill factor" b/c i can't find the "chill factor" stuff at CVS.
Thanks
No BFG specified the chill factor one for a reason. And yea it sucks that CVS doesn't carry it anymore, gotta go to walmart.

Its hard to say because it is different for everyone. My first couple of days nothing big came up but then I had like three new cysts by day five. Its kind of up and down for the first couple of weeks. I guess its possible that you might not flare up it just depends on how stubborn your acne is.
hey it's my first time here...
I'm a 15 year old female teen with acne living in hot, tropical Singapore. Now it's clearing up, with one or two pustules at the jawline area. However, I have like hyperpigmentation on my cheeks which I can easily cover up with makeup. I have oily skin.
I would like to ask if bfg's reg could take away my pigmentation and the remaining stuff? However, in Singapore we do not have Wal-mart, and I'm not very sure if our supermarkets hav psyllium husk fiber capsules. Singapore does not have Oxy Chill Factor nor bar soap but we have Oxy 5 and 10 facial wash, cream, and coverup. Does these work too?
Now it's the hols and I'm hoping to clear everything up so that my schoolmates will not laugh at my face again. Thanks (:
so.. day one of BFG's fiber/oxy reg for me.
here is my account so far.
i went to TARGET to get the 3 materials needed. TARGET had the psyllium husk fiber (i bought the generic brand) but did not have the OXY treatments. TARGET had a few OXY products, but not the ones specified in the reg. so i paid $5.64 at TARGET for fiber and moved on to WALMART as suggested.
WALMART had both OXY treatments specified.. the soap and the 'chill factor'.. i paid $12.53 at WALMART.
knowing i'm sensitive to fiber, i chose to take only 3 capsules tonight. and what do you know, i had to go within the hour. everybody's bodies, skin, acne, and sensitivity is different.. so i may have to work up to the 6 capsules.. or, find the number that works for my particular female body.
i started the face washing part tonight. about 30 minutes ago. okay.. my thoughts. very different. i can't explain how, but i can tell this will be a different reg. i imagine the tingling from the chill factor is the 'oxygenation' taking place. the alpine scent from the soap smells a bit manly for my taste.. however, i would rather smell like a man than have acne. haha. and in all fairness, it smells way better than some of the other harsh products out there.
my hands are quite dry from lathering the soap. a good lotion for hands afterwards will be a necessity for me.
during this wash, my lingering red marks did not become as irritated as usual. which looks better and consequently, feels better.
my face feels good. clean. tight.
we'll see what happens. i'll keep you posted on my experience with this! i'm excited for something new and hopeful!
I'm a veteran poster on this board. I have tryed everything. From Dans reg to eating like a rabbit. Carrots, strictly veggies. I Still got cystic acne. I have been in the hospital twice from my face being covered in cystic acne and getting and infection. I had cortizone shots done on a daily basis. I had one derm feel so sorry for me he gave me a shot pack so I could do it myself. Been on tane, antibiotics. You name it. I'm feed up with people saying you have to eat this way or that way to be clear stay away from this that and the other. I have figured out what it takes to be clear not just me but other people as well. I have tested this regimen on other people besides me so it works. Infact this regimen works so well it has gotten deleted on this board in the past. I have advertised the reg several times in years go by and it has gotten deleted so read it while you can before it gets deleted again. I know I know i been on this boad long enough to know people will say how can you say this regimen works for people. Well my question back to you is have you tried it.Its very simple.
All products can be had at walmart
Oxy 10 Chill Factor
Oxy Bar Soap
psyllium husk fiber capsules
Simple
In the morning take 6 psyllium husk fiber capsules
Then lather the oxy bar soap on your face.
Then rinse it off with a rag
Then use the oxy 10 chill factor apply to the acne prone areas. Let it sit on your face for 10 to 15 mins.
Then rinse it off with a rag. Let your face air dry. One might ask how thick should I put the oxy 10 chill factor on. I say just a decent amount. Not to thick but not to thin.
At night before you go to bed.
repeat same steps minus the taking of the husk fiber capsules since you already took them earlier.
Thats it no 2 inch thick bp no 30 min reg no crack donut look on your face no cystic acne. The thing I have realized is bp is not meant to be left on its meant to be taken off since your skin has already hit a saturation point. Do not say it doesnt work unless you phyiscally tried it.
I will take any questions.
Hey man I wanted to let you know that I have cystic acne, and I've suffered from breakouts on my face, scalp, neck, chest, stomach, shoulders, back.
I've started your regimine and have been on it since sunday. I must say that Im VERY happy with the results in just a short few days. I have sensitive skin, and this regimine seems to compensate very well for that. I also think that the fiber pills are helping a great deal, and NO im not shitting a million times a day haha. I just notice that I go a bit more, when I go haha.
My only thing is that Im noticing my skin mainly on my forehead, and partially on my nose starting to get a lil dry, I didnt' know what moistueriser is good for sensitive skin that I can use while Im doing this regimine, that wont break me out>??

You have to go to BFGs new website to ask him questions now, this is the address http://oxcleanreg.v33.org/ . Good Luck!
