day 8 here, so far so good. this reg definately feels like its controlling my breakouts. before i started the reg, i was probably at my worst break out ever having 5 cysts come out at once. it was the worst feeling ever and i finally found myself on this site looking for a new reg. i tried dkr too but that of course didnt work. im still keeping my fingers cross that this isnt just too good to be true. clear skin, here i come.

Wow so many people trying the reg out. With all these people trying it out I'm really trying hard to get the site out as quick as I can guys. So please bare with me a little. Its hard for me to balance questions and working on this site right now. I either focus to much on one and not enough on the other. I understand some people are still breaking out that have been 2 weeks on the reg. But thats still way to short. Everybody thats posted on this thread will be inform of the site. So no worry s their. So please dont ask me when it will be done. I'm hopping sometime real soon. Everybody that posted will be informed the second it opens. So don't worry about getting left out believe me you wont. I know their are always some people that will panic

Not to sound gross in any way. But in all seriousness.

What I find so amazing is being on allot of fiber. My stools never stink or I don't bomb out the bathroom I guess you could call it. I will walk into a public restroom and literally get blown away when somebody is using the toilet. I begin to think people today are really consume low fiber diets. Which inturn makes are bowls really sluggish and slow and in some cases backup. This causes are stool to become really smelly. Just think about this however bad that smell was is what was sitting in you for probably quite a few hours. I dont think thats real healthy. Plus sluggish bowls and bowl movements that stay in us longer then normal causes your body heat to elevate more.

I'm coming round to this opinion about fiber and good bowel functioning too. It makes sense when you consider so many sufferers have excellent diets and hygiene, yet still get sometimes very severe acne like in your case. Every success with the website and hope the regimen works and keeps workin for everyone.

It's day 8 for me and I broke out pretty bad...cysts, pustules, papules, pustulopapules, you name it....but that's cool because I'm sure it's all that gunk that's been waiting to get out for a quite some time now. I think this is the IB I've been expecting...at least I hope so! Definitely gonna press on though!

I decided to try out this reg. I've been on about four different antibiotics and none of them have worked for me. I had a perscription for accutane but decided not to fill it because I was to worried about the side affects. I would describe my acne as moderate to severe and I've had it for about four years now. This is the 13th day since I have been using the reg and things are looking a lot better in some areas and worse in others so its still hard to tell if its working or not. But I'm going to keep beeing optimistic. :)

I find it a little funny how people will get to their 4th or 5th week and stop posting. I'm not saying everybody is like that.

i hope im one of those peopel lol. nah i think ill stick around. bfg, if this reg really works, i will be forever thankful.

i think a lot of people can relate with me. suffering from acne definately takes a toll on your self esteem and it has gotten to the point where it controls my life. i use to have clear skin until about 2 years ago and the breakouts got worse and worse. i always thought it would just go away on its own but it just kept on getting worse and worse. i cant wait til the day i can just stop worrying about my face breaking out or not and just go out without having to stress over acne. best of luck to everyone too, hang in there.

Day 10:

The worst of my cysts are gone (small purple-red scars, or course). A combination of the drawing effect and my dermatologist's skill with a tiny scalpel got rid of them. I'm looking forward to those areas healing up.

I look TONS better than I did before I started this. My chin (the offending area) is flat, and after a few tiny whiteheads surfacing, nothing new has shown up.

I have a few very deep cysts on my chin - they're not visible, but I can feel them. I'm not sure the reg is reaching them, but I'm going to try adding steam as a pre-treatment to help open my pores.

I occasionally have more mild acne on my forehead and cheeks. Right now I'm focusing on my chin, and don't want to bring attention to non-problem areas; but after Christmas, I'll be using this reg on those areas, I'm sure with great success.

Thats sorta using the reg to spot treat. Your sorta prolonging the drawing period by focusing only on one area.

I just want to inform everybody that I'm getting very close to finishing the site. I really want to make sure I get it right and dont release it to early.

Do a lot of you in here have sensitive skin? Mine is super sensitive and I've been experiencing a lot of burning, redness and it makes my skin super dry. what kind of moisturizer do you suggest? and is this normal?

hey jangirl,

I can only speak for myself, but initially my skin was real dry and I was dying for moisturizer. I used a bit. Now, one month and a bit into the regimen, MY SKIN FEELS SO GREAT. It's not even a dry a bit. the dead, dry skin cells have all peeled off. i think some initial moisturizer is okay, but in the end, you probably won't need it.

My advice is to not to massage the SA for too long. Use it for like 30 seconds, don't overuse it. Also, if you have excess dryness, just leave the oxy on for 10 minutes instead of 15. In my experience, the oxy is used to peel out lesions and to kill bacteria. The bacteria are killed immediately upon exposure, so don't sweat the 5 minutes.

GOOD LUCK. we're all rooting for the peopel on the regimen.

Jangirl, I have oily skin, but my skin is now dry, but not super-dry. I don't use moist. There is a little bit of stinging, especially for the area around my eyes. There is no redness. My skin NOW is not ultra-sensitive like before I started DKR in April. I don't know if six months of BP use did anything, but I'm not complaining.

Hello!

I just happened upon this forum today while Googleing "Accutane Alternatives". I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place but I have a question for BFG...

I've already run to Walmart to buy the 3 items you mentioned...but I'm confused about the Oxy 10 Chill Factor...I expected it to be a gel or lotion, but the link you show on Amazon.com is a wash. Is that correct...it is a wash that we are supposed to apply fo 15 mins?

Thanks,

WAP

You got that correct. It'll say "wash" on the chill factor bottle, but you don't use it as a wash. The chill factor has 10% bp, and when you apply on your face, let it sit for 10-15 minutes....it'll get dry. You'll feel immediately a 'menthol' affect and a really cool chill, kinda like icy hot but on your face. You'll also feel your eyes start to sting, but that's because of the menthol rising into your eyes. It'll go away. I like to keep chill factor on my face for the full 15 minutes or until the 'chill' is gone and I know that I've reached the maximum absorption level for the bp. Then, as bfg directs, wipe off with a cool cloth. I also like to splash my face a couple times with cool water after and wipe dry. That's it, just walk away and you're done.

Excellent posts before me.

It's a great way to think of it. Think about it, you are on a accutane course for 4 months or above. That's the strongest medicine available to treat acne. And if you have been on accutane, you know that you'll have to various periods of your skin looking liek complete unpresentable crap. when i was accutane, i had at least 5 extreme breakouts before I became relatively clear. Unfortunately, the moment i went off accutane, the moment pimples came back up. And so, for this regimen, don't expect that things will improve immediately--not that i'm saying it won't. Yet, one month through and i'm pretty confident that it's stopping new acne from forming. Tigerlily has had the same experience one month into the regimen.

Well at the 2 week mark I had a bit of a breakout. Good news is that the pimples seem to have a shorter lifespan on this regimen.

Question though, BFG where do you stand on popping pimples once they come to a head? Do it? Don't do it?

I've been following these posts for about a week or so. I'm interested, mostly because i'm not a fan of harsh medication, I don't even take ASPRIN. My acne isn't severe, mild most of the time, morderate rarely. Anyone think this reg will be okay to use if you dont have severe cystic acne?

I'm a little concerned about taking 6 fibers at a time as well, it seems like a lot to me. I'm a pretty small person and generally take less than the recommended doses of things. and side effects of taking that much fiber...? if anyone would be kind enough to tell me if anything tragic is going to happen it would be appreciated.

I'll be searching for these products tomorrow in any case. I hope you're on to something BFG!

Hi guys sorry haven't been posting much, was busy with my friend wedding. WOW her skin looked great thanks bfg! As for MY skin, it feels great and looks great, its been nearly a month now and my skin has really gotten used to the BP, be patient guys! I longer get pimples that time of the month.

Tip: drink plenty of water, this will make the fibre work better. I kinda forgot about my water for a day or so and a got a couple of whiteheads. Water helps the fibre with the detox.

good mourning, PLEASE DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE FIBER.

If you have a typical american diet, you are fiber deficient. If i remember correctly, the average american only gets 1/6th of his required dietary fiber intake. ALSO, 6 capsules is actually only 12 percent of the need dietary fiber! In other words, its not even greater than the daily value required. No worries there. I mean, according to the back of the bottle, I think you could even take 18 pills. Just make sure to drink water like letsbeatittogehter said, becuase the fiber absorbs the water in the intenstines!

Also, there is a study that shows SA being more effective than BP in reducing acne. Think about it guys, we are in the best of both worlds when we use both. hahaha okay, i think i'm being a bit excessive with this advertisement. But i do want you guys to try this regimen!

Hi everyone, I'm a 26 yo female and have been on this reg for a week now. Results are the same as everyone else so far. I had been using the Oxy 10 for over a year, since it was the strongest thing on the market, but I used it as a wash and always felt my money was going down the drain. Now that I use it as BFG directs it works much better. My question is about the fiber. The FDA recommends 25g of fiber per day for women and 30g for men. The 6 fiber supplements only total 3g. I am surprised that that small amount of extra fiber in a diet makes so much of a difference. Is it because it is straight up fiber instead of getting it through natural foods like raisins or apples? I am not good at taking so many pills and it makes be nauseous. But I am determined to be clear by Thanksgiving. I refused to try acutane due to the whole depression side effect and I've tried every type of anti-biotic and cream to no avail. I don't want acne my whole life! Good luck to everyone. What a curse acne is...
