Suggestions for treatment of these scars?

It's somewhat difficult for me to tell the severity of my scars as I can't visually discern them looking in the mirror, probably because I'm accustomed to seeing them. I took the following two images with a DSLR camera standing at about 4-feet from the lens, outdoors, with a 100 ISO setting. The only difference is that, in the first photo, there was no cloud cover and it was well lit. In the second photo clouds had started to move in creating shadows and, I believe, the scarring became more obvious.

I've variously heard recommendations for subcision and microneedling. Do either of these seem like good options or ones that would even be effective? Also, I'm honestly a little freaked out about the entire subcision process. Would microneedling produce some results even if it's not as effective as subcision? The scarring is from my teens and I'm now in my late 30s.

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

Looks like rolling scarring to me, so ablative fractional laser with PRP or microneedling with PRP (done by a professional) sound like sane choices. You'll probably need a few sessions to get the results you want.

Nothing to do here. Pretty good skin.
