thank you for taking a look at my post. Im very devastated right now. I live in California Bay Area. I have this weird shape acne scar on my nose due to picking blackheads when I was young (Dont do that!).
I have had 2 UP CO2, one RF microneedling, one subcision and 2 Dermabrasion. Basically CO2 messed my skin (maybe I had a bad Dr). I bruised for 2 months after subcision and subcision also gave me a raised scar and did not fix the problem. So far dermabrasion made my texture a lot better but still nothing on my scar. Im thinking about dermal graft, but I cant seem to find any Dr who does this in the Bay Area?
Does anyone have any suggestions for Dr can do dermal graft in the US? (Willing to travel internationally if necessary). Also, if anyone can help me to see if any other procedures can help my scar would be really appreciated. Thank you
Nose scarring is super tough, as you have noticed.
A dermal graft sounds interesting. I don't know of a specific person but just make sure you find someone you're super comfortable with who can show you before and afters of scars very similar to yours.
And, stay realistic about results. You can get some improvement but scarring is permanent and usually never totally "goes away."
