Hello all, Id be curious to hear about your experiences with CO2 lasers and what kind of success you had?
A little about me. Im mostly pretty okay with my old acne scars. They werent too terrible and Ive had some treatments over the years that may have helped slightly.
2 subcisions year ago. Then over the course of the last 5 years ago I sporadically had different treatments. I did 4 RF infini microneedling (didnt see much from that, 2 Fraxel restores (those helped), and then a subcision with sculptra. Nothing for about a year and then I had 1 pixel fraxel laser and 1 subcision with radiesse.
Now Ive done 4 fraxels and Im going to do more subcision with filler in a month.
These last 4 fraxels I dont think have done much. I was more impressed with the 2 fraxels from the other derm.
Anyway, I have about 6 boxscar deeper scars that I would like to get rid of and I would like an overall improvement in skin texture. It seems like they keep pushing the fraxels since my scars arent too bad, but I think my improvement has maybe maxed out vis a vis the fraxels.
What do you all think of Co2? Im a bit nervous about it because since Im not desperate to change my scars I definitely dont want something to make it worse, but I have always dreamt of smoother skin. Would love to hear your experiences.
Also, I'd post a current pic, but I just had a fraxel so I need to wait to get a good current photo of my scars.
Hi, go and see my topic here: Here. I explain my experience With laser. It gave me like a 50% improvement but for my holes in the face is not enough. I did 8 round of ablative fractional co2. For the texture is ok, it hides quite well the scars under normal light. But the holes remains, in fact with overhead light it seems that i didnt have Any improvement
