Hi there,
Anyone with bothersome (superficial) rolling scars on their cheeks may have noticed that stretching the skin makes the scars disappear instantly. Have you ever imagined a procedure where the skin on the cheeks is lifted and excess skin cut off? Has anyone had procedures like One Stitch Facelift (figure) or any other facelift to make acne scars disappear?
I seriously doubt this would work. Facelifts produce scars of their own and are for older folks. It can give a more youthful appearance to the face by it's not going to give you a whole new canvas. The scars will still be there and likely be worse because acne scars tend to look worse with age.
Probably wouldn't be great stretching all that scar tissue either as scar tissue isn't really meant to be elastic. I could imagine after some time it could also create problems etc that's just my guess. I thought of this too in my head but it's just not feasible really when you think about it. Plus god forbid that pulled back area ever has problems etc. Or what it does to aging would be unpredictable.
