@BorutoIf your getting knotts under the skin again this can be normal if they do not make bumps above the skin, ... consider it natural filler if it does not show. I would not Chinese Cup a existing knott as you could create a lump above the skin. Follow my advice above. This is why people get filler so they do not have to deal with these complications.
QuoteI did mention to the derm with regards to filler she told me it's unnecessary because it's results only last 8 months.
^ Sadly this means your practitioner is a bad"Acne Scar Dr. " No top scar Dr' would say this. Perhaps this is why your treatment was so cheap. She is clueless about acne scars and does not treat them normally.
- You do need filler 100% or you will be complaining here like many other's who subcision failed from re-attachment. Bad Dr's will tell you that you do not need it. That simply means they are not acne scar specialists and just experimenting on you, ... they are clueless. The World's top scar dr's in found in the FAQ in the main scar treatments sub use filler post subcision. NOT for temporary volume but to prevent re-attachment and have you body replace the sub with it's own collagen. We are not using filler for standard aesthetics reasons and it does not matter that the product is temporary and the body dissolves it over time.
- Your only other option is Chinese Cupping Amazon for a month after subcision then to prevent re-attachment. This caugses bruising so be prepared and you state your prone to "knotts" and slower healing. This iswhy people wait a week or so until the swellin goes down from subcision and do filler. You can get this done at any clinic if she will not do it.Otherwise if you won't treat your scars properly, I would not even do subcision, as it will not be worth it and produce 0 results.
Will the suction device prevent re attachment? Do you recommend it and also you mentioned to take supplements could you please elaborate on what type and finally who would you recommend for subcision here in the UK and in terms of prices what would I be looking at?
It will, but I don't know that I recommend it in your case if your already having"knotts," in that case filler has less side effects. I covered the supplements above for subcision, did you read that. Vitamin K. Longer healing can be normal in your skin type.
You will need about 3 months to heal, ... sounds like some possible damage was done. Skip the cupping this time until your sure of your outcome with ""knotts"", and ""possible"" nerve damage.
QuoteMy entire face was done at the price of 100 GBP and she was very thorough (took around 40 odd minutes) both times.
^ Price means nothing, otherwise they are experimenting on you. This is very skill dependent - the Dr. The top Acne Scar Dr's do hundreds of cases a month of this. Otherwise your practitioner is experimenting on your cheaply. As your aware they can cause damage like"numbness" and lumps if they don't know their anatomy nor have no skill to do the procedure.
Please read the FAQ in the main scar treatments sub, ... goto the subcision section.

Well that was disheartening to read so far I can say the subscision has had a positive affect huge lines that were forming from the scars below have been reduced.
I'm just scared they will reform I ordered a cupping device from Amazon which has just come I'm hoping this is something I can use at home to prevent re attachment of the scar bands. I know that you said to skip this until I've healed and know of the outcome.
Only one nodule has formed above the skin but has gone down since the procedure and the bump appears to be going down on my right cheek unfortunately eyes are still dark (black eye)
The first pic is prior to the surgery.
PS I can't find subscision section that you mentioned could you please link me.
Thanks for your help much appreciated.
@BorutoDon't be disheartened. I can only go off the info you provide me. That is a big difference, congrats, I might more as needed after you heal.
You can get filler done now but it sounds like your trying to save money, ... so yes just order the Chinese Cupping device @ joeysk said above and do that. If you had only one lump that is ok and normal, ... it sounded much worse. Do not suction lumps, or discontinue until lumps go down if they develop ... everything else to teat is fine. You will have bruising, so please experiment with half strength suction, etc.. This is done for a month after. Some men wear tinted sunscreen over it or a medical concealer like dermablend.
Sounds like cupping is a option for you. Good work getting treated, definite change, this is the magic ofsubcision.

Thank you for all your advice, I've tried several lasers/needling in the past and none of them made even an inkling of a difference for the better so I'm really happy that subcision was introduced and has made a significant difference, I can now make expressions without feeling restricted and my symmetry has improved its more even now, I've had 2 treatments and I still feel maybe another 2 and I'm hoping I can find a credible dermatologist in the UK.
PS:
I can't seem to find the forum for subscision (FAQ) which you mentioned, I've never used a cupping device and more so for the purpose of post subcision treatment and would like more info on how to use it I'm hoping I'll find more info there.
The dermatologists diagnosis on the problem I suffered from:
@BorutoThank you for sharing your journey. Let's save this as a log of sucess to help others.
Dr Huma Hasnain, what country is he in? Any other contact information or a website as that might help others.
Thinking about why your Dr would not use filler with you I finally determined it's because of your history I had to refresh myself on. You had severe fibrosis. He was probably afraid of causing you more issues since you suffered so many side effects before treatment. Makes since on no filler usage. Cupping would be safe.
Your Dr found exactly what Myself and Obiwan were trying to help you with some time ago, ... it's good that you finally found a solution that was successful 😉
You can goto Dr Anil in the UK, ... contact is in the FAQ. Goto the main scar treatments sub. Where all these posts are listed. Find there pinned at the topFAQ, find the Dr's at the bottom and the UK. It's also linked under each post I make in the signature. If your on a cell phone perhaps try a computer.

Thank you my friend, both you and Obiwan help and advice was very much appreciated I recall both of you at that time offering advice I was in panic mode trying to figure out what these huge lines were and why my symmetry of my face was of so badly.
Unfortunately the docs in Europe the ones I went to anyway could not determine the issue and everything they offered had no help at all and after several incorrect diagnosis and treatments in London primarily, I went to Pakistan.
Saw a few dermatologist who offered lasers which I've had done with no impact until I saw Dr Huma Hasnain she told me I'm suffering from something called subcutaneous fibrosis and gave me RF Microneedling at a depth of 3.5mm and then performed subcision a day later.
The bands were so hard she had to really use her strength and patience.
She is optimistic that they should not re attach if I follow her instructions of eating Denzen DS and so far fingers crossed...
I've had 2 subcisions done and I feel much better no longer feeling of tightness and restriction. I hope to get a third this time in the UK while I'm still here.
I'll look into Dr Anil I did mention to her that the canella needle from what I read is the superior choice of needle for subcision (I could be wrong on this?) she told me for you because your adhesions are so many and it would be best to use a 23 gauge needle.
Thank you again kind sir your help and advice has been very much appreciated.
I'm going to search for some guides on YouTube how to use the suction device and how many days and how long for.

@Rotten_orcaI would not combine treatments as I describe many times on here. The body is incredibly slow to heal. I have seen cases where the needling prevents proper subcision or causes the skin to not have the regeneration it could have otherwise.
In the above poster's account, note he had issues you do not have, unusually severe fibrosis, ... the NHS had to figure it out. I suspect the Dr did this because the skin was like working with concrete and used some more aggressive behaviors I would not do. Some Dr's will do 5 things if you want ... say you fly in and have only hrs to treat, sure they will do everything at once $$$$$$$. But this is when I see major damage and side effects, with cries for help here. Space out treatment, observe healing, allow your body to build collagen, treat at home between as I described in other posts with DIY methods, and see a Dr every 3 months. Acne scar treatment is customized to the individuals case, it cannot be compared.
Hi guys I was hoping to get some advice so as you know I've managed to diagnose the problem that I've suffered from and subcision was huge for me in terms of treating the scarring that is below the dermis unfortunately I'm not in Pakistan at the moment but in the UK and I still unfortunately as the doctor told me need treatment.
I went to Dr Anil which I feel as been counter productive his bedside manner wasn't the best.
Used a canulla to perform subcision and left it hanging inside my cheek while he constantly went to check his phone, prior to using the cannula he used a 14 gauge nokor which found no teathered scarring and my mistake completely was not to correct him...
He needed a 23 as my doctor told me that she tried a 14 and found nothing, he performed what seemed like 20 odd minutes of procedure and told me he had to see another patient.
Again just confirms my belief on how awful the doctors are here in the UK not to generalize but my experience as been terrible to the point if I had to elaborate you'd be shocked.
Anyway I don't want to go to my home country and spend close to 2k and take time of which I don't have.
So my options are... Dr Anil and explain to him thoroughly that it's not superficial scarring and he needs to use a 23 gauge needle and also potentially get filler so it prevents the scar bands from reforming I think the total for the cost would be 400.
Professor Chu, charges 225.00 just for a consultation, this is extortionate but when in Rome... No idea his subcision prices but have heard really bad things about him.
Dr Somji in London not sure on his prices?
Emma Craythorne or Dr Firas Al-Niaimi.
The consultation fee to see them are 250.00.
London Medical & Aesthetic Clinic
1 Harley Street charge 100.00 for a consultation with the surgeon and their starting subcision prices have been quoted to me for 700.00...
It really seems like there are not many doctors who perform subcision here in the UK if there are any reputable could you please recommend and advise on the ones mentioned if you have knowledge on them.
As always thank you.
PS I am going to Germany for a week soon if a doctor comes to mind.
Also unfortunately for me eyes both the right more as become stained (black circle which hasn't resolved, I've spoken to the doctor who performed subscision and she thinks maybe Pico is a good idea?)
Hi so I went back to Doctor Anil and upon a lot of discussion we opted for Nokor 18 he said the higher the number the less deep the gauge is?
Anyway the incision was tough because how difficult it was to penetrate the skin which gave him an indication that there was teathered scars located there and he went to work, seemed like he was very considerate this time around.
In the sensitive areas around my eyes there are ahehesions there, I requested if he could use a cannula which he did but told me it's inferior to the nokor because it doesn't cut as well but you can maneuver it around better?
He also was concerned at the end because of how many treatments he thinks I need, the potential harm is that he could cut a nerve or an artery and is fearful.
But we both came to the conclusion there isn't an alternative. So I'm going to go to him every 4/6 weeks for subcision.
My question should I get filler done in the next couple of days when the swelling goes down to prevent re attachment or because I am going to be doing more subcision in the near future will that have an affect on the filler?
And lastly is there a type of filler I should use and what is a reasonable price for filler?
Kind regards.
