This looks very good indeed. Much shallower. You are definitely on the right track. Dr Rullan is indeed a master. The only caveat is that with your first photo, you have significant PIH within the scars, hence the PERCEPTION of depth. Shadowed lighting will remove the light reflectance. Regardless of this minor comment, you have undoubtedly improved, Congratulations. Be guided by Rullan as to your next few treatments. I don't know if he does fully ablative erbium followed by Pico to reduce the PIH, this certainly an OPTION, however Rullan will always have his time tested, and proven methods. Thanks for the update! Keep them coming. Your scars do appear softer. Don't forget to suction! There are studies that show that suctioning your scars daily a few days after subcision prevents them from tethering back down. I think there's up to 60% more improvement compared to those who don't suction after subcision (i could be wrong about the exact percentage, but there's definitely significant improvement).
I plan on seeing Dr. Rullan soon with the same combo of procedures.

I'm on day 17 and still look like day 15 from the pictures, just a little less pink. Used aspirin and suction to prolong the bruising.
I'm leaning towards getting a phenol peel, understanding the risk of pigmentation issues, however I'd like to get another round of subcision and cross. Phenol cross brown spots peel faster than TCA and I didn't see the expanding of scars that occurred with TCA cross. Dr Rullan mentioned this also and is one of his reasons for pushing phenol over tca.
May I ask what doctor you worked with on this?
Is Dr. Rullan the only one using Phenol atm?
Thanks

I think it's difficult to suction a few days after subcisionsince he also has also done the cross which scabs for like a week

I get seperate sessions for cross and subcision in alternating months. So that I can suction with chinese cupping 1-2 days after subs. It has worked great for me but it's not as fast results as condensing subs and cross together. I don't know the exact tradeoff. I think you get better results if you seperate but you get faster results if you do them at the same time.

I thought about separating the treatments also but I dont have enough time off to go so frequently. How long does it take for you to be presentable in public after getting the single subcision procedure? Ive only done the combination treatments so far.

I am a guy that DGAF so I work from home the day after sub and I am out and about in 2 days. wear makeup. However, you don't look normal until 6-7 days, and even then you need makup to cover bruises.Cross, my scabs are done by day 6 or 7.
@plcode hello. I just went to Dr. Peter Rullan and had a trio of phenol cross, subcision with a bit of filler, and erbium. I am on day 5 of healing. Everything went smoothly so far. Swelling is slowly going away. However, I'm a bit nervous about the left side of my face where he did the phenol cross. As swelling is going down, I am beginning to see the red spots and they look slightly raised. Is this normal? I pray these aren't going to turn into raised scars. There's a lot of photos on TCA after photos, but not a lot on phenol cross. I have experienced little to no peeling yet. I wanted to ask you since you had the same procedures as me with the same doc. Thanks
@f93d Hello there,
My name is Kelly. I went to Dr. I thought I'd ask you since you already went through this. I pray these aren't going to turn into raised scars. There's a lot of photos on TCA after photos, but not a lot on phenol cross. I have experienced little to no peeling yet. Thanks
I know its been a while since you posted this message.
Was those results from 1 session of phenol cross? Im actually about to finally start my journey myself.
