Please take a picture close up of the scar, I have no idea what I am dealing with here. Scars make shadows, use a flashlight and show me the shadow. IF it's just the color this is not a scar, it is PIE or wounding post acne. For that you would look a the FAQ, goto the skin section, and then to PIE. It can take a year for this to heal. Vascular laser is effective but expensive.

BA is correct, with the correct photography you will be in a much better position for as accurate as one
can get assessment of your scarring.
Best practice-
1. Close up
2. Close up animation
3. Close up angled lighting
4. Close up angled lighting animation
5. Photography at CONVERSATIONAL distance (determines overall severity- objectively not subjectively)
With the 5 steps BA and others can get vvvv close to the type of scars and recommended methods.
An important thing which some specialists go on about (which is valid) is tactile assessment. Why?
Because in some scars such as saucer shaped scars, or revised scars via punch excision, or
dermal grafting, sub dermal fibrosis occurs (scars are hard to touch). This may underlie an atrophic area.
This can make or break scar revision from being relatively straight forward to being difficult, as fibrosis needs to be broken down via subcsion before atrophic scar can be addressed.
