Ok I put this stuff on now, I feel weird putting egg on my face ha. I dunno if I did it right we'll see I guess.

EDIT to ask this. In the first post it says this

use a 1:8 (vinegar:water) solution first and then gradually increase to 1:1 ..never apply it neat. BALANCED pH = BEAUTIFUL SKIN! wash off after 10 mins. dont leave it on.

Now is that when your using BS with the ACV? cause I use ACV anyway and never wash it off, so when using the BS you need to wash it off? how is it suppose to work if your washing it off? My morning routin needs to be simple cause I have to go to work early. Would it be possible just to use ACV in the morning and do the mask and BS at night? Or do I need to keep the mask and BS separate?

Ok I did this yesterday and it immediately cleared up some of the bad redness on my forehead. I'm clear right now so I'm tackling hyperpigmentations. I have super-pale skin so its really hard not to scar or have red marks. Here's what I did and intend on doing for as long as possible:

Morning:

1) Wash with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash (in shower)

2) Mix baking soda with Cetaphil cleanser (I don't have the lotion), leave on for about 2 minutes, and GENTLY scrub (in shower)

3) Tone with ACV. I don't really mix it but I went a cotton pad, and then put ACV on it and wring it out. I think it amounts to about 1:7 (water:vinegar)

4) Apply Neosporin

5) Apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin (SPF 15) with AHA (a full pump) and Vaseline around eyes (very dry area)

6) Makeup (Signature Minerals)

Afternoon:

1) Wash with Cetaphil

2) Apply Lemon/Egg mask (works wonders!)

3) Tone again with same ACV toner mix

4) Apply Neosporin

5) Moisturize with Neutrogena Healthy Skin (1/2 pump)

6) Makeup

Night:

1) Wash with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash

2) Tone with ACV mix again

3) Apply Neosporin

4) Don't moisturize unless needed (1/2 pump NHS)

It's worked really well I'm so happy you introduced me to this method Delna!! I know some of you might think I'm overdoing the ACV but it hasn't irritated or stung at all; my skin can handle things like that really well.

Update: Made my own ACV toner today. I started off by filling the bottle 1/3 of the way full with Green Tea water (the Green Tea was the honey kind and contains licorice root extract, which i heard helps with redness/irritation), and then mixed in three aspirin tablets, and filled the rest of it up with ACV. I must say that the diluted version doesn't smell as strongly of butt.

well i found this regimin a couple of weeks ago and have been following it

-in the morning i use cetaphil face wash

-and then acv toner.

i DONT wash the acv toner off, and i also think its probably mostly acv and not a lot of water at all. it dries out my pimples but NOT my skin!!! its amazing.

-if i need to i use lotion but usually i dont.

-at night i wash with cetaphil again

-baking soda scrub!

-pop any white heads while baking soda is still on and water is still running. face is warm and skin is soft and white stuff comes out easyyyy and then washes away when i rinse my face

-acv toner

-spot treatment! sylacidic (sp?) acid neutrogena 8hr kind

i've only been using it for two week, and i still am getting some pimples, but they seem to have a shorter life span. i had an AWFUL break out in the beginning of may. awful awful. its pretty much calming down i guess. i think if i keep using this my face will clear up a lot more! probably not perfectly though. i STILL WANT ACCUTANE. i know i can get it im just pissed how much time its going to take. waiting to get in at the derm. getting birth control for a month or two. blood work. finally getting the tane. 5 months of treatment at least. ughhhhh!

what is everyones experience with the egg mask? it seems that everyone on here skips that step... haha. i know i did and i read that most of you are too. i wanna try it for red marks, because acv isnt fading them very fast at all.

if i do decide to try it ill write something on here about how it works out!

but yeah i think if anyone out there is wondering about this that THEY SHOULD DO IT! i dunno WHY people are seriously doing the water thing.. water only? how do you kill the bacteria on your face? this is why people created soap in the first place. to me it seems like washing your hands with warm water after going to the bathroom and not using any soap... maybe using super harsh stuff is ruining your skin - but you gotta at least use something!!

okay im done.

Apologies if this question has been asked a million times..

Basically i would like to know what the active ingredient is in the soda that is helping the red marks, (and why baking powder is different from soda in this?) Is it something to do with the crystals in the soda?

Guys, just completed my first try of it....WOW! In fact, WOW is an understatement. This gives results from the off! It's extremely uplifting to see something work before your eyes, because then you know it has an effect.

To all, try the egg/lemon mask, it feels weird, but it's wonderful!

Tale.
