does it have to be that certain type of vinegar? I mean i got like 5 different vinegars in my fridge but none of them say anything about apples. Theres clear vinegar with no label, balsamic vinegar, and some brown vinegar. I do have baking soda and eggs but no BP or any acne medication as I lost my bag with all my proactive stuff (oh ya dont try proactive it SUCKS).

ummm

What do you mean by "1 tablespoon of egg-white whipped up"?

I stir it until it turns white like making cake....or just stir it for few times n it remains transparentish?

thanks

Hey all,

Since this became 70 pages long, it's kinda hard to read it all. Is the first page (Delna's regimen) updated, or did anything change in the last 70 pages??

thanks!

i've been doing this for a couple days and i was wondering if a bit of dryness/peeling is normal in the beginning. like, is it just something your skin needs to adjust to, or do i maybe need to cut back on something that might be irritating?

i really don't want to stop using it, because its been clearing up my skin so nicely and my pores have been unclogged and shrinking in appearance and my complexion is looking more even... and the peeling isn't scary at all, its just feeling a bit dry and peeling lightly on parts of my skin that were really damaged before and its looking like healthy skin underneath (unlike times when i've used creams like retin-a or tazoric and my skin just got all red and flaked off in big pieces and i looked liked a monster, and it burned baddly, and after my skin finally healed it still looked that same...)

soo... with that in mind im assuming what im experiencing now isn't bad... since it doesn't hurt or anything. but i want to double check if anyone has experienced similar....(=

It is very encouraging to see how many people found an improvement in their red marks. I hope I'll see some results too.

My question, where can I buy apple cider vinegar? At a regular supermarket or at a health food joint?

Thanks in advance.

hi

ur regime sounds great. I was wondering if it's okay to sustitute bp with tea tree oil? Also, does baking soda help to get rid of bumps and blackheads? I've tried BHA and retin a but they dont help to get rid of blackheads.

Oh is it okay if I use some other mask instead of the egg white?

Must admit I didn't read it all... :P

However... Do you crack an egg, and then just take the white? What about the yolk - do you just throw it out? And how long does an egg-white stay good? Can it "live" in the fridge for a few days, so I don't have to crack a new egg every day?

First off I would like to  thank Delna for sharing this regimen with us.

I stated this regimen along with B-5 ( Pantothenic Acid ) (10grams day) supplements 4days ago. I can say that this indeed has already begun to change my skin dramatically.

In the mornings I wash my face with Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser , then do the Baking Soda and ACV, then apply some Aloe Vera 100% gel after my face drys. My face feels wonderful all day. At night I wash with Aveeno again then lightly pat it dry but not to dry it out all the way then apply the Egg white mask and let it sit for 10min and then jump in the shower and wash it off with cold water for 20-30 sec. The mask is unbelievable it has seriously already begun to make my pores so small natural and tight its AWESOME. The reason I wash with cold water is because warm water opens your pores up to my understanding and the mask tightens your pores and washing it with cold water will keep them nice and tight . And later before I go to bed I apply Tazorac the topical gel 1% which I been on for a while and have noticed very good results but still have some white heads here and there and like a blemish or two once a month and it still hasn't been able to get rid of everything.

I think another attribute to which has also caused and will certainly help in my success to being acne-free is the B-5 supplements I have been taking which I would recommend try it out if you haven't already I have read that many have seen success with just take B-5 and its been more successful to ppl than Accutane, but you can search the web to find out a ton of info on it. But I am certain that my the few red marks I have will be gone very soon and god willing my acne will be too with this continued regimen.

Wish you all the best of luck :D

What is this B5??? Is it a viatamin? Can i buy this at any health food store? Sorry, I'm new to all the lingo.

Hmm I've been doing this for 4 days now

Morning i use Cleanse and BS

Then acv when I come back froms chool and at night

It has broken me out on top of my lips but maybe it's just whiteheads coming to the surface because these white heads are really small.....But i haven't gotten actually pimples from doing these and it is helping my skin tone. Also the pores on my nose seem to be shrinking. As for Red marks...... I dunno cause of the small white heads lol.

Would anybody suggest me doing the bs then the acv afterwards instead of bs in morning and acv at night?

you should do both Baking Soda then ACV immediately .. Baking Soda is alakline and p.acnes loove alakaline skin hence your breakout. ACV covers your skin with a protective layer thayt you should have, but everytime you use alkaline products you weken it, the acid mantle. The acid mantle is basically a layer of skin protecting your body from bad bacteria, because bacteria cannot survive in acidic conditions. Make sense?

Hmmm  If your allergic to BP i think you couldnt be allergic to baking soda. Though if you really want to try baking soda, just try a 'test patch' on maybe your side of your face in a small area leave it there for about 10 mins and see if it has caused any allergic reaction.

Hey everybody!

I just tried the baking soda scrub and the egg white yolk for the first time. I am VERY impressed with how clean, tight, and non-oily my skin feels!

When I used the baking soda paste, I could feel the waxy gunk coming out from from inside my pores and mixing with the baking soda. That was cool! Furthermore, baking soda is the most powerful, effective scrub I have ever used! It gives my L'oreal $20 stuff a run for its money.

I still need to get the apple cider vinegar. Nonetheless, this regiment seems very promising to me. I will keep everyone posted on my results!

Some people asked about how to do the egg mask. This is what I did:

1) Crack an egg and capture the yolk in one of the egg shells.

2) Let the egg whites drip into a bowl below. Add a squirt of lemon juice to the whites. I used lemon juice already in a bottle.

3) Beat egg with a whisk until frothy but not stiff.

4) Use clean, broad-bristled watercolor paintbrush and dipped it into the egg whites, then "painted" the egg onto my face.

5) As it dried for 10 minutes, it felt tight, but a "good" tight. I rinsed it off, and my face felt SO clean and not greasy anymore. :)

I dont see why not. They are not meds........use the retin-A after you wash all the stuff off.

I leave the ACV on though. It does wonders.!!! If you use that as a toner 50/50, let dry and use the Retin-A after. See how it goes.

I would suggest using an actual lemon. Not the kind that comes from a bottle.

Yeah thats what i was thinking , but while reading some of the posts here , someone said it's harsh to use that while using the retin-a and could cause more scars (not red marks , actual scars) is that true? i really dont want to dig wholes in my skin while fading red marks away.
