Is the egg white mask really necessary? it just seems like so much work EVERYDAY. not only that but i dont think my mum will be too happy with me watsing 7 eggs per week on my face..lol.. cant i just use the baking soda and ACV?

you can buy a small carton of egg whites to save the eggs

Has anyone tried this regimen with salicylic acid instead of BP - BP really dried me out. :-(

make sure u use baking SODA not powder. and i think thats the most important thing in this regime. thats what exfoliates the skin. instead of scrubbing, just apply a thick paste of baking soda and water..leave it on for five minutes and just wash, as scrubbing may irritate ur skin

will just leaving it on exfoliate the skin at all?

it still helps bring gunk to the surface without irritating my skin. i tried scrubbing, i was really gentle but it still irritated my skin. leaving it on works for me. don't leave it on for more than 5-10 mins though.

Delna I don't think you check this thread anymore. But if you read this...

THANKYOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for posting this!!!!!!

I had been suffering from cystic acne since three years. I had perfect skin through my teenage years and I started breaking out after I turned twenty. I was devastate....

I haven't had any new cysts or any pimples after I went on your regimen. I really hope it stays this way.

All i do is make a thick paste of bakign soda and water apply it as a mask all over my face and wash it off after ten minutes. Afterwards I apply dilluted Apple cider vinegar for ten minutes. I have been doing this everyday since about ten days and my skin is almost flawless!!!

I do not know how to thank you.

Seriously thankyou sooo much delna!!!!!!!

This thread is so long so I didn't bother going through all of it.

I'm kind of stupid with these stuff so can someone give an in depth explanation on how to make the baking soda paste and AVC+water?

What should I put them in?

couple of questions, are you leaving the ACV on? Also do you find the egg white mask useful?

I'm really liking the apple cider vinegar. I think it's going to work really well! I also did the baking soda exfoliation, and it felt good at the time but I think it was a mistake. I've been using the BP on Dan's regimen, and since using the baking soda, I look and feel as though I have a mild sunburn.

Gee I guess that's why Dan said not to exfoliate  DUH

This is just a warning to you if the CSR is giving you excessively dry skin. Do what Dan says - DON'T exfoliate or scrub like I did! Ugh...

this really works. ive been doing this regime for about 4 months now and my face is SOOOO much better. this in conjunction with b5 (2 grms daily), i have about 1 pimple on my face, as opposed to like 10 or more before, and the red marks have also significantly reduced in color. my skin is actually smooth now.

Wow, I must say, I was as skeptical as anyone about whether or not this would work. (and... I can't believe this thread has gone on for 2 years. Delna has probably moved on, clear skin and all, being none the wiser.)

I tried the regime last night, and my red spots are definitely more faded today. I had tried nearly everything to get them to fade - this is amazing!

A couple of learnings from the experiment:

I had forgotten that you weren't supposed to apply the apple cider vinegar "neat" to the face, it should be a 1:10 mixture. Oops. YEEOWCH..that stings, esp after doing the baking soda exfoliation. Def. will not do this again next time.

My face = majorly tight today from the egg mask. I should have used moisturizer afterwards. And my skin is normally oily, so again, I am amazed.

I'm not sure I have the time to devote to doing this daily - I think I will aim for 3x/week.

This whole thing is kind of labor intensive, but when you're desperate for something to work you'll do just about anything.

If only I had discovered this sooner... like.. maybe 2 years ago.

I'm going to try this tonight, and if anybody still reads this page I'll post my results.

See ya!

having dirt on face doesnt mean its bad, there are different kinds of bacteria and each one might help you or harm you but killing all together will harm you even more.
