Delna,
Hey. I have some active acne...actually probably a pretty good amount but its mostly around my temples where i have mostly red spots..have had them for years i bet. I would like that to go away so i could use that as a test spot. I read some of the first and last pages. It sounds like a pretty good concoxion. I bought all the ingredients i didnt have and i tried the egg white mask last night. It made my face really tight it was weird...i guess thats supposed to happen? I didnt have much luck with the egg whites. They werent very foamy and the only foam was on top the rest was just the whites. Any tips to beat the eggs and how much to use. Also how much do you usually use when doing the vineger, water mixture.
After using this regimin for a while how is ur face improving? Are both masks necessary? Theres a lot of pages so i couldnt read all of them. Thanks.
ok so after a few days of doing the egg mask, it turns out the redness and itch only lasts for about 20 minutes.
so i continued to use the little 8 step program and im on the third day. well today i decided to be tough and did a 1:4 vinegar water mix instead of 1:8, well now my face is COMPLETELY RED, it doesnt hurt or burn its just REALLY RED, what do i do? god dammit i have a christmas party to go too...
BUT GOOD NEWS IS the mask and baking soda/vinegar regimen is working, and i see a big improvement in my scars, alot less red and shrinking. but i think the 1:4 ratio really messed me up, my face is like strawberry red. any reccomendations on how quickly u should move up to the 1:1 ratio?
Hello. Id just like to say I started this procedure about 1 month ago for my redmarks left from bad cystic acne and it hasnt been a miracle cure, but it does seem to aid in fading them. I started with maybe half vinegar half water solution, but I now just use vinegar undiluted, ive heard other people get burnt doing this but my face doesnt experience any adverse reactions. I currently do cleanse/egg mask/moisturise in the morning, cleanse/baking soda/vinegar/moisturise at night. I find this is the best combination for me but other people will likely do what works best for them. I dont use acne cream as I dont have a problem with acne after my 2nd course of accutane (fingers crossed). Ill definitely continue doing it and hopefully one day, no more redmarks, and no more acne.
P.S. Thanks to Delna for sharing her now quite popular (+1000 posts!) regime
well the thing with accutane is, is it makes your skin really sensitive and weak (personal experience). you have really deep scarring, and this regimen wont really help that, but it will help with the redness. accutane does help with the redness but it wont do that much, it will still be red. so i mean if you really wanna go for it, try it out see how it works, personally i find the "dont do anything strange while your on accutane" bull. they only say that because they dont to dry your skin out or cause any damage. just becareful of your vinegar water ratio, which in my case i got a little burned and am slightly pink. but yea this regimen did help me alot with the redness.
Question...since the regimin says you should wait 15 minutes after washing your face, should you wait 15 min after washing and then apply the Baking Soda or Egg White Mask? How about after you wash off the ACV or Egg White Mask...should you wait 15 min. before applying BP? What have you found to work Delna?
I'm sorry if this has already been answered...but there are WAYYY too many posts to look through!
Baking Soda... Can I use this as an exfoliator for milia on forehead? Like just do what I normally do -- splash a bit of warm water on my face then finish off with cold water.... and then make the Baking Soda paste and then rinse it off? And that's it? Or maybe not use the cold rinse until after the Baking Soda paste? But just skip everything else?
ok im a little confused on the egg white mask, im really not sure what the egg white is and how much im supposed to mix it and such. help!
When u break open an egg and remove the egg yolk (the yellow colour stuff), whats left behind is the egg white...
For the egg mask, mix one eggworth of egg white with one teaspoon of lemon...
Can I use a toner that my facialist gave me instead of a moisturizer? the doctor said my skin was too dry because I use retin-a and the dry skin possibly was causing the acne. he gave me some stuff called locoid lipocream (supposedly something for excema or dry skin). I just started using it... I just havent found any moisturizer that I like as when I put on any moisturizer, it feels like my skin is oily and dirty and makes me feel like im going to break out more...i even dont really like the toner as i feel like applying anything to my skin after washing it is dirty.... I also seem to break out after shaving...i use an electric shaver. I am also on Doxycycline right now.
Thank you Thank you Thank you for this regimin.
After getting clear from God knows what i had a bunch of red marks on my cheeks and some on my forehead. After doing this regimin for a week i noticed the marks had faded a bit but not alot. After two weeks i saw an amazing improvement. MY REDMARKS ARE PRACTICALLY ALL GONE!!!! i almost have cleak skin i cant believe this.
If you are clear from acne or have jus a couple zits and have alot of redmarks you NEED to try this regiimine. It is CRAZY GOOD.
I LOVE YOU ORIGINAL POSTER!
PEACE

p.s. - the vinegar smells like shit!
Hey. I'm new to this site/forum and I have to say, it is very informative! I tried the egg mask tonight and it made my skin really soft! Tomorrow, I'll be trying the Baking Soda + water and the vinegar + water. I have a few questions Delna:
1) Which technique in your regimen reduces red marks?
1) BS/water
2) vinegar + water
3) egg mask
4) all of the above
2) Is it okay to use regular Heinz vinegar instead of Apple Cidar Vinegar? I read the content of the vinegar and it does say 5% acidity which is the same %age acidity of the ACV.
3) You mentioned the vinegar - water ratio is 1:10. Are you talking about teaspoons or tablespoons?
Thank you so much!
Can someone please answer my question?
I dont understand the evening part. How can you apply your acne cream and then after that apply the moisturizer. I mean it would be like mixing up two creams with different compositions and effects. That can't be good. Or maybe I didn't understand something here...

The acne cream part is optional. I don't do it
