I've been doing this for two days. I dont think it's decreased my red marks, but my skin feels really smooth and my large pores are smaller. Ill keep doing it for those reasons alone. It might help with the red marks after a few weeks.. who knows.

Neo doesn't decrease red marks, it's just an antibiotic cream, but what it does is help to clear up pustules more quickly so they leave less scars. It also kills P.Acnes in the pore, helping to prevent acne.

cool Wolfkeeper. what if i've never heard of Neo.

I think 1/8 AVC is diluted too much. I use 1/1 and I think my skin could handle it straight after a week or two. I wash the egg mask off with water, it seems to get it all off..

I haven't tried this regimen yet. But..

In the morning I'm going to use:

-Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser to wash my face.

-massage gently with a paste of BAKING SODA and water. wash immediately. pat dry.

-for the apple cider vinegar, I was wondering if you can use distilled vinegar and water. thats all I have now. wonder if thats ok?

-apply BP gel

-and moisturization with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture.

Evening

evening

-cleanse with Dove

-apply egg-white mask. wash off after it dries

-apply BP gel

-moisturize

Ok, I've been doing this for 3 days now and I am shocked! My face has never ever looked this good.

My husband said I look 4 years younger, hehe.

90% of my red marks are gone, my pores are much much smaller and clean!!!

My face feels like glass, it is amazing. I will never use anything else on my skin.

It is somewhat time consuming but so well worth it. I know this might not work for everybody but it's a miracle for me.

THANK YOU! for posting this.

do you have to add the lemon? what does the lemon do?

And what happens if you leave the mask on too long,

Been doing this for a couple of days, have seen no results from the egg mask whatsoever. I'll keep doing it a little longer to give it a chance but it seems to do nothing but make me itch.

Also, those of you experiencing breakouts from the baking soda may just be overexfoliating. It's still basically a scrub, just a very fine powder one rather than a grainy one, and some skins don't take well to being scrubbed every day. I know my skin doesn't do well being manually exfoliated more than 2 or 3 times a week. I've been using baking soda as an exfoliant forever, but just because it comes from your kitchen doesn't mean it's gentle enough for daily use.

I have a question -- do the eggs in the egg mask do anything for red marks? Or is it the lemon juice that helps and the eggs are for tightening pores (egg white masks are used by a lot of people for tightening skin and pores and helping oiliness)? I don't think the eggs are doing much for me so if they're not the important ingredient I'd rather put the lemon juice in, say, an aspirin mask.

Well this worked great for a few days. The baking soda is way to harsh. It actually burned my skin and made it raw. I still do the egg mask every other day, not sure if it helps but it makes my skin soft. Be careful with over exfoliating your skin.

Guys, just wanted to give you a quick tip...every skin is different so will react different to different treatments. Please do a patch test before you use any regimen all over your face. Eg: on the side of your neck before doing it all over your face.

I agree with moni77 and princess that exfoliating too much is bad for your skin. Be very gentle when you do it and if you find your skin is dry red or irritated, wait for 2 days and then continue only if your skin looks ok. This means your skin is too delicate to handle exfoliation everyday..so do it like every 2-3 days. Pay close attention to how your skin responds and then modify the skin care regimen according to what works for you. You dont have to follow any regimen to the 'T'.

Thrilled to know this regimen is working for most of you!! I get atleast 2 emails everyday with positive results! Keep up the good work and take care, all of you!!

Hi, just thought I would pop in to give everyone a quick case study on the long term use of this regimen. Basically, my face used to be covered in acne, I could't stop it, etc etc... you know, the usual deal. Anyways, I used BP to treat my moderate acne and most of the active pimples went away, however, the pimples all seemed to leave worse than usual red marks all over my face. Since I discovered this site, I decided to try using the egg mask and the BS/ACV regimen everyday. Soon after, I realised that BP had already cured most of my active acne and was now doing more harm than good, so I stopped use of BP and all other acne treatment entirely. That was 2 months ago, and since then, the only thing I have used on my face is this regimen. Personally, I found that it doesn't really help with red marks. However, on this regimen, my acne has never returned and the last few pimples I had left over lived their course and burst/dried out long ago. Therefore, I have found this regimen extremely useful at feeling my skin intact and fighting off acne while my red marks heal naturally. Right now, My face is completely smooth and free or acne and the few marks left are no longer red, just darker shade of my skin and are barely visible and still fading. I hope this helped for anyone who is just starting out or unsure whether or not to try this. :)

Hi Delna!I have a question....your regimine of egg whites and acv sounds really good, and honestly I haven't tried it yet,but I'm wondering could the reason your skin looks so well suddenly be because of your 2 Silk Peels?I mean,I'm sure this stuff works well in it's own right, but you did say you found out about this regimine when you went in for your second peel.I'm wondering if someone like me would get the same results with just the egg white mask and avc toner without getting any kind of a peel done. Thanks!

I have had AMAZING results with the egg, baking soda and vinegar combo. Honestly, I didn't think it'd work and it did WONDERS in just a few DAYS. Just try it! It's a natural mystery. You've got nothing to lose

hi preppy scoot...yes, I have done a couple of silk peels. these are milder than microdermabrasion...so u can imagine how it is..i was not even red after the treatments. What it did, however was to give me a nice glow just like you get after a good facial..it made my skin smooth for a few days and it faded my very very light marks. it dint do a thing for my dark red marks. I thought it worked..i mean, to see my skin that smooth after years was amazing...but the people who see u everyday can make out the slightest difference. My husband was disappointed at the results. He said it did not help me at all. Next appointment, i asked my aesthetician if theres anything else i cd do..i actually cried in front of her..i just cdnt keep my emotions in check. i was so upset. thats when she told me this remedy.

And what do u know..i found my cure! I cannot guarantee good results to anyone as every skin is different. But if u dont try, u will never know, will u?? As Jesussaves says..u've got nothing to lose!! Your skin may clear up and u may never have to look at another acne commercial again!!

Good Luck!!

i think the website with the recipe on it has taken the info from delna, not the other way round -cuz its so popular.

5 days on baking soda and my skin is really smooth and i havn't got any major pimples. its too early to tell if this method is stopping pimples all together

Hello All,

My name is david and I just finished a 5 month course of accutane which completely cleared my acne, except i had some nasty red marks left from cystic acne before accutane. I am going to try delna's program, i have tried mederma (skin care for scars) for many months now, it has faded and shrunk alot of scars, but it never gave me that GLOW, especially since accutane since my skin was left so dry. I have heard of the magic of baking soda before, and the PH system makes complete sense. Does Retin A work as a cream? what about benzoyl peroxide? And what do you do with all the leftover egg pieces after you do the mask? please respond, and thank you all for your time.

HELP?

Hi dtblanton...Im sorry to hear that the mask didnt go smoothly for u. This is exactly why I tell everyone to do a patch test first before doing it all over...you just cannot predict how ur skin will react to different products. So wdnt it be wiser to err on the side of caution?

I think ur skin is sensitive to the lemon juice. But dont worry, the redness should be gone in a couple of days...citric acid in very small quantities is not harmful at all. please do not use any abrasives or scrubs or even baking soda or ACV till ur redness is gone. Also no masks. Just cleanse moisturise and leave it alone.

I doubt if u wd ever try this again..but maybe u cd give it another shot and do the mask with egg-white alone and no lemon juice. GOOD LUCK!

Guys, please please do a patch test before you experiment anything new on ur face...
