Ok so i've been doing this regime for about 3-4 weeks and intially i too, like many others, saw +ve results. However, i still tend to break out here and there, particularily on my forehead which was an area that was relatively clear a couple of months ago. I personally believe that this regime is good for improving ur complexion but i hope none of u ppl are being mislead to believe that it will solve the acne problem. For those who have active acne, keep in mind that this isnt going to prevent breakouts. But for those who are over that stage and are left with the aftermath of acne then jump on this as it definatley speeds up the healing process...good luck everyone

So far so good. I'm combining this regimen with Acne Relief tablets and homemade Silica. I've had a few small pustules that I've had to extract the plugs out of, but nothing major, and I'm putting them down to my poor diet over Easter, (waaay too much milk chocolate...which doesn't even taste that nice eusa_doh.gif ).

This regimen definitely helps alot. I dunno if it cause breakouts or not, but I have breakouts even on this regime. I guess that's because of my diet. Sometimes I only eat once every 2 days (Ugh.. im a grade 12 student living alone.. food is troublesome!)

Just tried Delna's regimen and am crossing my fingers that it will work and not make me break out worse. I only used the bs and acv on one cheek cuz my skin is super sensitive...but i'm so inspired by everyones results that i'm hoping this will help with red marks!

one question - do you guys just wash off the egg white mask with water only?

i wash it off with water then i apply some cleansers, i dont think water itself will wash out the egg mask entirely

As soon as i quit usin the acv i didnt get any whiteheads anymore. I just use the bs and sometimes egg mask now. I suggest using the acv for like a week and see what happens. Remember to experiment. There usually is a solution for progress.

hello

my story is i think ive got sensitive skin cause last week i started using the neutrogena clear pore cleanser/mask and it made my skin red and flakey and i broke out badly. so i started using the neutrogena extra gentle cleanser and it seemed to sort everything out and along with using this regimin my skin is really good! better than it has been in ages, oh yeah i also use retin-a at night and the neutrogena sensitive skin moisturiser. so yeah fingers crossed my skin stays good its only been 5 days. anyway i just wanted to ask although this regimin has helped me clear my skin im not seeing any benefit for my red marks yet, anyone have any idea how long it takes to see a difference? i guess it must be different for everyone maybe? my red marks are kinda going more purple is this a good sign? also my pores are huge since using this mainly on my nose, any cures that wont aggrivate my skin?

thanks heaps in advance!!!

even if it doesnt help my red marks i'll keep using this regimin cause its cleared up my skin, i love how all the products are from the supermarket and natural, im sick of being fooled by advertising into buying dumb products that never work!

thanks so much for sharing it with us!!

I've used Delna's method for 2 days and immediately stopped. Please see attached before and after pictures, taken at same time of day in same (natural) light.

As you can see, my red marks are MUCH worse.

Please note that I have NO active acne (have been clear for over a month after a single breakout, first in my life). My skin is smooth as silk in all areas.

Please note I am not blaming or discrediting Delna. I believe from all the resounding testimonials that this method works a majority of the time. Guess I got unlucky. I should say that my skin is not sensitive at all.

What I believed has caused this is the baking soda, which I used HIGHLY diluted with water and only left on for less than 20 seconds. I followed the regimen to a T, but did not use acne cream since I have no acne (and haven't had for quite a while).

"Before" pictures are day before I started Delna's method. "After" pictures are this morning, after second application of her method.

I REALLY hope this is just temporary inflammation, and I'm not set back in my recovery.

can I use the acv if I am on accutane?

Delna, what makeup do you use and how bad was your acne before you started this regimen?

Nah she said just use it either in the morning or the evening..

Does anyone else think the whole egg/lemon-mask thing is a bit dodgy.. I used it for about a week and I got 2 pretty bad spots which seemed to coincide with using the mask...

I'm not using the mask at the moment because I finished the batch I made but I think i'll make some more and see what happens. I was just thinking maybe it was blocking my pores, I only kept it on for around 10-20 minutes as well.

Overall the whole thing seems to be working to some extent, the red marks have faided slightly! eusa_dance.gif

i tried this for i think 3 days using proactiv renewing cleanser... the baking soda... just normal pure white vinegar... and proactiv repairing lotion... then proactiv oil-free moisture and it worked .. it actually worked very well! most red spots are gone and i cant explain it ! Thanx so much for sharing! i still have yet to try the egg mask though!

Just have to say THANKS!

This regime makes my skin very nice & soft, and my marks fade away!

As an addition I want to mention that I find jojoba oil a good nighttime moisturizer. During the day I use a cream for senisive skin with SPF (Av’‚©ne).

Also, I have sort of flipped around the routine, so I do the mask in the morning and the baking soda/apple cider vinegar in the evening. This is because I often take a bath in the evening, and I find that my skin is more ready for exfoliation after a little bit of steam. And I like eating the rest of the egg in the morning eusa_drool.gif

how does baking soda exfoliate the skin?

and can the vinegar lighten hyperpigmentation?

is there an alternative to the egg white + lemon mask method? B/c i'm vegetarian and I cant use animal products.

I'm glad to hear that this is working for you, because I am asian too so I think I'll have a better chance at gettign the results you just described.

I've been on this thing for exactly 4 weeks, and my red marks are still right where they were before. They're just a bit more pink... maybe.

I had alot of improvement the first week, but lately, it seems that it could actually be making things worse. I don't even know why. I think however my face would heal faster if I didn't use BP gel after the egg-white. I honestly believe BP slows down the healing of red marks.

I don't put BP gel on my forehead, because it's usually clean. I did get a nasty zit there though last week, and now I can't even see the mark anymore.

I don't know... Should I risk not doing BP-gel anyore? Or at least in the evening? Or maybe even reducing the quantity? Please advise someone!

maybe you should do a spot test, dont put bp on a single area with active acne and see if it heals.

I noticed on my skin BP worsen the red marks. I put BP on my active acne and they always leave a red mark.

Ya thats what everyone says. Benzoyl Peroxide actually makes red marks alot worse. When you put it on an active zit or so they always go away fast but always leave a shitty red mark. My face is 100% clear pretty much from acne but just has crap red marks from the benzoyl peroxide. I think in a while i might just give up the bp just for a lil while and see what happens with my red marks. They are such a pain in the ass. BP works very well for acne but just makes red marks that much harder to fade sometimes.

I know for a fact that BP causes red marks. I just realized it recently and I've had my red marks for over a year now. So now I've quit using BP for good. I also barely have active acne (maybe bout 3-4 little ones) but these red marks are just brutal. I hate them more than the pimples itself.

No way, acne is way worse... At least red marks are smooth, and you don't feel them. I just hate it when acne hurts, or even worse -> bacne, so it hurts when you lean against something (like a chair). Also, unlike bacne, red marks start bleeding for no reason. (yuck) Yeah, I hate my bacne.

Oh by the way, I just got 2 huge zits on my face, it could be delna's regimen, I don't know. I'm still applying BP gel, and taking antibiotics, so I don't see how this could've happened. I don't like it anyway.
