dustino: it wouldn't matter either way - i personally put it on after i've cleansed. washing and drying is just one more step to irritate your skin, really. i'm not sure about the second as i've never had it happen to me.

this BS/ACV seems to be working quite well in conjunction with my regimen... thanks.

weird how commercial companies never included it in any products, and how i never heard about it helping acne until not too long ago, whereas baking soda has been out forever

I tried it last night as a scrub, and i like it smile.gif it felt kinda good to use, like it was really exfoliating not scratching or nothin. I used some ACV right after for the ph balance thing

I'm going to try it for the next few days and see if it continues to work, but a had a bunch of active zits on my forehead, but now they all seem to be going down a lot! I won't comment on red marks until I'm confident that it's improving them, not just psychological

Just out of curiosity, why would a mask like 'egg-whites and lemon' work for your skin? i just don't understand how....

^^well i know that egg whites are rich in protein and fatty acids which are essential for your skin. And maybe this helps it to regenerate better.Try google.com also wink.gif

right now what i do is at night, after i bath (including cleansing my face with dove soap), i put on diluted vinegar, after 10minutes (do i have to wash it off), i put on the egg mask for 10minutes then wash off, then i put bp..noticing that i didnt use baking soda would it be ok? or would bs help the most so i'll go buy some?

The main point of putting vinegar on your face is to balance the basic property of BS! Now your face is acidic. I advise you to get BS asap!

This is my first post, but I have been reading posts for about a year now. Anyways, the baking soda, ACV, and egg mask work great! They sort of help nourish the skin a lot more, and this is really needed when using BP. I have been using delna's stuff for a few days now, and am already noticing some great results. I am doing a few other things, such as using a regular sauna, green tea toner, aloe enzyme to remove ALL dead skin cells, and taking supplements. Anyways, this is a great find delna, props to you on this one.

Go ahead and buy the baking soda. It is amazingly cheap, in the states; typically less than a can of soda.

I personall find that an extremely gentle cleanser actually goes a long way. My skin can tolerate the harsher ones quite nicely (I can even apply neat ACV with minimal redness), but a gentle cleanser makes my skin look more refreshed.

With the egg mask, is it me, or does the lemon seem to sort of break down the egg, making it more runny over a few days of storage? I just used a little squirt of lemon, did I use too much?

Hi all, I'm going to try this.

I'm currently doing the alex regimen, "the do nothing" regimen. This helped my face big time in about a week! My face tends to get less oily, but it is still oily. My friends and gf have also noticed the improvements. But I still have a lot of red marks left and still have a few pimples (is this active acne?).

I'm going to try this also but first a few q's:

*I have far less oily skin, but it's still oily! Can I still do this regimen?

*Can I do this while I have a few pimples? (active acne???)

*Can I drink the ACV? isn't fermented ACV the same as normal ACV? confused.gif http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php...20entry484220

* Can you do this while on minocycline?

THANKS A LOT!!!

Ok guys, I coudn't help myself but after posting the thread about this regimen, I just went and tried it.

Now:

*I can actually feel the baking soda working, so that's allright.

*The ACV didn't sting at all! Am I doing something wrong here??? HELP!! I mixed 1 part ACV with 10 paarts water (10:1).Maybe I should try something like 5:1?

*The eggwhite with lemon was just awesome! It really felt amazing.

*The ACV drink; I just mixed a spoon of ACV in water. God that tastes AWFULL!!! wacko.gif but I intend to drink it 3 times a day. cry.gif

Anyway, let's just hope for the best tomorrow.

My plan (regimen):

Morning:

*wash face with water.

*drink a glass of water mixed with 1 spoon of ACV.

Midday:

*drink a glass of water mixed with 1 spoon of ACV

Evening:

*wash face with water;

*do the baking soda thing;

*put dilluted ACV on my face;

*apply the egg white with lemon mask;

*drink a glass of water mixed with 1 spoon of ACV.

I'll keep you guys updated!

That's stupid as hell...

The point of ACV is that the acid in it kills the acne bacteria...

ACV has been used for centuries to treat numerous diseases. It is good for all sorts of problems. I normally just take it when I have a cold though. Put some in a shot glass and get it over with. It is also good for your skin, hair, nails, and overall health, but I don't have the will to drink something so disgusting that often.

I drink it too, It doesn't taste that good, but you get kinda used to it.

It's also good if you're on a diet, cause it makes you feel less hungry.

You said "1 tablespoon of egg-white whipped up + a squeeze of lemon".

How is is enough to spread over the face?

Do I soak cotton pad in it and then lay the cotton my face or just apply the mixture on my face?

My face was clear, but I wanted to make my skin look smoother. I tried it one time and it broke me out pretty bad. eusa_wall.gif

u dont have to measure the egg white with a tablespoon, just seperate it from the yolk, squeeze in some lemon and slap it on. its not going to kill you if its more than 1 tbsp
