hi i think im gonna try this out, however for now i cant seem to be available to buy bs nor acv (so i wont use neither, therefore i wont be too basic nor too acidic?)......so i'll just do the eggmask with abit lemon
so my question is, would it be alright if i do this in the morning/afternoon? like 11:00-12:00? cause thats the time when i come home for lunch (im a student) and have some free time....while in the morning im quite busy and at night i try to get as mush sleep as possible
so yea i was wondering if i can do so during that time, as the instruction said morning or night
btw, if i dont do the bs (scrub cleansing) nor the acv (which balance the ph from bs, however since i dont use bs so i dont need to use acv?), would that be not as effective?
thanks in advance
Does anybody see a difference between this regimen and this one?Other than the obvious stuff like bp cream?
Seems Interesting, gonna try it. Just one Question :
I stil have a little acne here and there that pops up for a day or 2 as a whitehead then disappears, only to come back again a few days later. Anyway, should I directly apply the Baking Soda and ACV , as well as the mask to the white head/pimple itself, or just avoid those area's and concentrate on my other red marks/rest of face? thanks to anyone that knows
Erm, this procedure seems nice and all but slightly concerned over the use of baking soda...I know it's commonly used for cleaning but this is usually when cleaning inside the fridge, glassware, kitchen utensils and household stains...is it really safe on the face? hehe Just wondering..

please be careful using the egg mask everyone! i tried this a few years back and it was absolutely wonderful at first=all my acne dried up and i completely stopped breaking out. then all of a sudden i started getting under the skin cysts which i never had before.
do some research on the web, youll see lots of sites that will tell you that eggs eventually go into the pores and clog them completely up. it took me months to get my skin half way decent again...
just wanted you guys to know.

Just some Info on the ACV and Green Tea Toners
vinegar. Consists of acetic acid and water. The color and flavor of the vinegar is determined by and varies with the alcoholic liquor or juice that is used to ferment the acetic acid (such as apple cider or wine). It does have mild disinfecting and antifungal properties, but according to a study in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology (January 2000), commercial disinfectants are far more effective in killing germs and bacteria than vinegar. Vinegar can be a skin irritant.
green tea[/b]. Significant amounts of research have established that tea, including black, green, and white tea, delivers many intriguing health benefits. Dozens of studies point to tea's potent antioxidant as well as anticarcinogenic properties. However, a good deal of this research is on animal models that do not directly relate to human skin (Source: Skin Pharmacology and Applied Skin Physiology, 2001, pages 69Aaaoe76). There is only limited information about its effect on skin. The Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology (December 31, 2001) stated that the polyphenols "are the active ingredients in green tea and possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticarcinogenic properties. Studies conducted by our group on human skin have demonstrated that green tea polyphenols (GTP) prevent ultraviolet (UV)-BAaA-induced immune suppression and skin cancer induction." Green tea and the other teas (such as white tea, which is what green tea begins as) show a good deal of promise for skin, but they are not quite the miracle that cosmetics and health food companies make them out to be. As the Annual Review of Pharmacology and Toxicology (January 2002, pages 25Aaaoe54) put it, "Tea has received a great deal of attention because tea polyphenols are strong antioxidants, and tea preparations have inhibitory activity against tumorigenesis. The bioavailability and biotransformation of tea polyphenols, however, are key factors limiting these activities in vivo [in humans]. Epidemiological studies AaA have not yielded clear conclusions concerning the protective effects of tea consumption against cancer formation in humans." What is not disputed are the anti-inflammatory properties of tea (black, green, and white). These are also definitely potent antioxidants. All of that is very good for skin, but whether it has any effect on wrinkles or scars is speculation, not fact.

i didnt say she made it up i understand that a "professional" told her about it. some people do think it works, it is a well known "organic cure" so to say. but if you read more into it you will see that some people start to have bad side effects months later, its great at first, believe me you'll love it. but in the end it was not worth it. the baking soda and vinegar is great tho ive been using that along with the regimen with great sucess. i was just sayin you may want to skip the egg part....
no i understand quik silver, your correct, the opinion was based on my experience, i got my hopes up when it was working so well, then i started gettin lots of under the skin zits and cycts which i had never had before. (( I originally got the idea from an Indian Organic Remedy Site - which says that this is how those from India keep their skin so flawless, so i figured it couldnt hurt)) so i started reseraching it more and i found info on the HealthBoards.com Forum that warned against it, suggesting that over time, the egg deposits in the pores and completely clogs them, causing bacteria to build under the skin.. you can get some info from that site, (Health Boards) just click on the "acne section" and type "egg mask" or "egg white" in the search. but i think alot of the posts were for the egg yolk or using the whole egg. Delna suggests just the egg white, maybe that would be better for the skin, plus everyone is different and some things work miracles for some, while they can be horrible for others. i hope it does work for you guys!!!

Just a few Questions and im sure the answers are in here but Im not going through 27 pages to find them, dont have time
1) So after I cleanse and am gonna apply the Baking Soda, do I dry my face and then apply it or apply it wet right after my cleanser?
2) Tried it tonight right after my cleanser, before drying my face again, and after doing the Baking Soda my face was covered in dead skin I think, I could rub it off with my fingers and it looked like it was peeling really bad (but it wasnt). Then after I applies the moisturizer it looked fine. Is my face supposed to look like its peeling after Ive washed off the BS?
Thanks
