When you say "cleanse face" do you mean just wash it off with warm water or wash it off with a cleanser like clearasil face wash? Do you have a preference regarding to the temperature of the water during the night and during the day?

sorry poi...all ur questions are already answered in this thread..so i thought u would have got the answers by now...im glad u decided to try the mask...here are the answers to ur queries.

- nothing can beat fresh eggs for the mask but if u do not have a choice..the 100% egg whites is just fine. But if u have to use it within 7 days, the best thing wd be to use a little everyday for cooking. eg: if u make scrambled eggs for breakfast everyday..u wont waste it + its good for u + its good for ur skin used both internally and externally. if u do not like eggs..then im afraid u have to buy fresh ones for ur mask..fresh ones will stay longer and u can just separate the eggwhite from the yolk for ur mask. u can store the rest of the eggwhite in the refrigerator for subsequent uses.

- whipping is not really necessary. its just to aerate the mask so that its easier to put on. theres really no rule that u have to just take 1 tbsp..just take a little, mix with a squeeze of lemon and apply..too much wont harm u either. so just relax and go with the flow..these r natural products and u have nothing to worry abt.

- abt the lemon..i think u r talking abt the concentrated lemon juice. like i said, fresh is always better..but if u do not have a choice it shd be fine..just make sure u dont put in too much as its concentrated..if u want u can mix it up with a little water to reduce the concentration. or else, just put in a few drops and u shd be fine.

hope that helped u. good luck!!!

hi brulia..good luck! keep us posted!

Marvin, u r so welcome. in fact, I am thrilled its working for a lot of people here. all u have to do is never give up.. Congratulations on finding ur cure eusa_clap.gif ....take care and keep us posted!

hi zerglings eusa_snooty.gif now now...dont overdo it eusa_naughty.gif ..it wont help u, im afraid.

chump..cleanse ur face with any cleanser for sensitive skin. i use Dove soap for sensitive skin. warm water is ideal for cleansing and also for the b.soda exfoliation. when u wash off the ACV toner though, use cool water..that will close ur pores.

Hey Delna does it matter what type of vinegar you use or are you only supposed to use acv?

ustadbongo, Apple cider is supposed to be the best. however, some ppl use white vinegar. whatever u use, make sure u dilute it really well the first time and do a patch test.

doll, the most recent ones fade the soonest. my earlier ones took a slightly longer time to fade. my skin has not become perfect..u still can see that i had acne coz i have a few boxcars on my cheeks..but the red marks are practically gone, except for a few dark ones here and there..and with a little make-up i can cover everything. i am pretty happy with the way it worked for me.

Just posting in for the people who've asked for success stories, to say that I've been doing this for 6 weeks now, and my red marks are almost gone. I even feel like I can go out without makeup on these days.

Thanks again Delna!!! eusa_dance.gif

I still have active acne, but I know it has to do with my liver, but I can definitely use this regimen to clear out the dark red spots around my face. You guys think your red marks are bad -- mine are horrible. Ugh! Anyways, looks like everyone is making good progress. Well, you can queue me right up, because I'll be on my second day tomorrow.

Wait a minute. Is it baking POWDER or baking SODA? Is there a difference?

And what ratios should be used in the ACV+water mix and the Baking (Powder/Soda)+Water mix?

I didnt use much bp before i started only on spots that i got. not many atall.

I stopped using my diffren cream at night time tho and still used small amounts of bp in the morning. It has really PISSED me off. Im still contemplating wether to go on accutane or not. My derm has given me that option if i want. My face is really red all over aswell. Looks like i will be back to using makeup when I go out now. I have two indented scars which were red before i started then they went normal colour now they are even worse than b4 and one has a spot coming out on it. WTF is going on? cry.gif I really want accutane now. eusa_wall.gif

What are you doing to clear your liver? I started getting acne this summer and a naturopath told me to clear my liver. I dithered for months, but finally did it in November. It was amazing style_emoticons/ style_emoticons/ . it has worked and the breakouts have stopped and I get just 1 or two pimples if I eat banned foods. So I am now trying to fade out the red/dark marks left by the acne style_emoticons/ . Doberwoman, msgingersweetie, spicychicken eusa_clap.gif .....GOOD WORK, GUYS!!!

Secret_guest...good luck to you, buddy! my marks were so horrible, ppl used to stare at me wherever i went. i used to think,"gosh nobody's cd be THIS horrible". In fact, everybody thinks the same..we r our own worst critics! SO im sure urs is not as bad as u think. Anyways, good luck with this regimen...if u have faith in it, u will not be disappointed. take care..

lynnlynn...thanks for the good info on B.soda. Good luck with this regimen! hope it helps u as much as it helped me!

KSW-MAD...B.soda does bring out the whiteheads and blackheads that u already have from under the skin, when u first start using it. when i first started using b.soda, i had to steam my face and take out the blocked pores often. But now, my skin is so clean i dont have blocked pores or whiteheads or blackheads. Also, in some ppl vinegar can irritate the skin to bring out some spots the first time..which is precisely why i insist that u have to dilute, dilute, dilute it as much as possible the first time and gradually increase the concentration as ur skin gets used to it. But since its a natural AHA, its good for ur skin and will not harm it. u have nothing to worry. But if u r breaking out even after 2 weeks, then this regimen is not for u. Cd be that u r allergic to b.soda or vinegar. as of now, just be gentle when using the b.soda paste..dont scrub hard..dilute ur acv into a very very weak solution...use ur acne cream and sunscreen and dont forget the mask. u shd attempt to press out ur whiteheads when they r ready, there is no other way to take them out. steam ur face and press gently with fingertips covered with a soft towel..if they dont come out..dont force them. Take care!

Hi all,

I've been on the regime seriously for almost 2 weeks now. During these two weeks, I've had about 5 pimples, but the good news is that only one is on a problem area. As of now, I have 2 small cysts (not even sure if they are as serious as that, but the one on my left cheek was more serious than a normal pimple, and left a big dark red mark when it popped) which are in the process of healing. One raised bump is mid-progress I'd guess, on the side of my forehead. I was wondering if I should continue this regime, or is this bad news (like I shouldn't be getting ANY breakouts from this?).

On the other hand, my skin overall is feeling a lot better and the spots that were NOT affected by the breakouts are much lighter and starting to look great again smile.gif Is it normal to break out a bit before the regime really kicks in, or will it stay like this? I just wish I didn't have any breakouts at all during the 2 weeks, because then I would look MUCH better!

Thanks for any help!

Delna -

I think I read you say in this thread that stretching the skin around a whitehead and then applying neosporin was the best method to prevent scarring/PIH, but when I tried this stretching the whitehead first filled with blood. That seemed very bad to me. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for helping myself and many others.

Cheers,

R
