Hey Mikey,
I would love to know how the procedure turned out 9 months on.
I too have been in contact with the same clinic recently (I live in the UK)
It is a very expensive procedure! But then we would pay anything to get our faces back again.
I have shrivelled up prune skin after roaccutane and additional scarring.
Hope things have worked out well, confidence brings happiness.
jwiggles thank you for the reply... I too am noticing a big difference in the tone and color of my skin... The scarring seems to be about the same.. But my skin seems warmer.. With a healthier tone.. I too am wondering if this is going to be a short term phenomenon from the resurfacing or if in fact my skin tone has been permanently changed for the better because of the recell.... I am now 8 days out and I still have this great skin tone... I hope it continues... Because if so that alone will be life changing for me.. As 90% of the perception of healthy skin when you look at someone is tone/texture/color.... I am not sure if everyone knows this but with recell many different types of cells are transplanted, including melanocytes, keritinocytes, langerhorn cells, stem cells, fibroblasts, and I believe maybe even oil glands, (although I am not completely sure of that) So in essence recell is putting back all of the things that may be missing from skin that has been permanently damaged by lasers, or other types of skin damage and procedures... Therefore in theory restoring it to an earlier state before one started down the road of skin destroying lasers and light modalities... I am very excited about the recell aspect and looking forward to further improvement with the melanocytes and other cells starting to work that were transplanted... I've got noting but positive reviews about this procedure so far as my healing has been lightning fast!!!
mikey any updates its been a while since u last posted?

I had four fraxels when it first came out, and I still wonder if it has to do with volume loss to my face. I am in my early forties, and my face is aging much differently than anyone else in my family (Two brothers 9 and 10 yrs older than I am, 1 brother three yrs younger).
I had two rounds of micro droplet silicone injections¦the scars themselves that were treated don't look at all improved to my eye, yet there seems to be an area below the scars that is a bit "puffy". I am currently doing micro needling¦.am I making things worse??? I sometimes think I see "new" scars, but maybe it's just the lighting, or maybe they are scars that I hadn't noticed before? It's all maddening, and frightening.
I was toying with the idea of fillers - yes, for some scars, but also maybe around my eyes or smile lines (bcs now on top of scarring, there are aging issues)¦.but I am terrified that I am going to be the small percentage of people that has complications, or ends up looking like a freak bcs the dr isn't as skilled as he claims to be¦.
@ChrissyC hi I did micro needling and it caused hella hyperpigmentation. Im a color 4 on the Fitzpatrick scale and the area that was treated became sooooo much darker than my natural tone. I also got all these tiny pimples all over the area. Because if that I only did one session prp+micro needling. I started using the ordinary lactic acid and yeouth vitamin c and e day serum (life saving products for hyperpigmentation). The area is finally back to the color of normal skin (this happened in may 2021). Im not saying dont do it but be cautious they say you can do it once a month with 3 session I say wait 2 or 3 months in between. Give your skin that time. Skin that has already been through trauma doesnt heal the same.

Ok, so I thought that I was hideously ugly... Seriously, I obviously was crazy because now I would do anything to go back to that... Now, years later after all the procedures this is what I look like now.. I want everyone to know that this is very embarrassing for me, but I am doing this for the benefit of people everywhere who have had their lives destroyed because of botched and unnecessary plastic surgery procedures performed by doctors who don't care about you but just want your money...
Ok here is the current picture of me now I am 40 years old....
@mickey*n*denver thank you so much for sharing you journey. You are a beautiful person inside and out.
