Im srry to hear that jimmie. enerjet is meant to stack up its improvement on top of each other with each seassion you do...so i dont see how after 1 session you should be doubtful on how the next two sessions wont change things. there some things you have to consider. matter of fact im really curious on how your treatment was done in the U.K since im in canada. it would be nice to compare 2 different doctors from 2 different countrys on how they perform this treatment.
some of the thing you wanna consider is where is your scarring located? did your doc break up the scar tissue within your scars? did he miss any scars? things like that. its very hard to tell if the doc hit every scar when there is a tremendous amount of swelling going on.
Hey, well you have probably seen my pics now. I have had loads of treatments done, and he is known to be a good cosmetic doctor here in the UK. He did indeed hit lots of scars, I can't fault him on that. Also, I had subcision done with him previously which seemed to go well. Perhaps 1 treatment is not enough and I simply need to go for some more?
I am just reluctant to splash out a further 200 for another treatment which may not be effective.
The redness of the scars bothers me both but after 3 vbeams I have not had much improvement!
i think if you eliminated the redness your scars would look way less noticeable. yes 1 treatment is not enough for enerjet. there is no such thing as a one and done. if you give it time and patience i can guarantee you will get lots of improvement. i would wait till after your third enerjet before making any claims. also how long does your doc recommend until your next treatment?
you have to make sure your eating healthy too, this is a vital step in collage reproduction. you have to make sure your body is pumping nutrients and vitamins through your skin all the time. foods high in vitamins and zinc supplements are beneficial for your skin, healing and your immune system. i am currently taking zinc for the healing. like i said go after the hyper pigmentation first then the rest after. when my hyperpig went away it made a world of difference and my scars were a lot less noticeable. keep that in mind.
Where did you get this done again bro? I might get an enerjet appointment and drive there from Chicago.
i got it done in brampton ontario. people are reporting that dr.Matta does not deal with patients from the U.S SO if i was you i would call them and book appointemnt for treatment and make sure u make it clear that u want treatment on the day of. if they ask where are you from you simply say your from toronto or anyother city within the province. its as simple as that. if that doesnt work out then the location in perth which is northern ontario will be able to treat you as i can recall another member being treated in perth.
My second treatment is tommorow so i will be blogging my experience again. i cant wait!
also if u manage to book in a treatment with dr.matta make sure u have eveyrthing planned out as for as timing. calculate how long it takes to get to brampton from chicago. goodluck
Do you have scars on your nose?
alittle bit of hyper and hyp on the left side from microdermabrassion, an enlarged pore on the right side thats about it. im curious if airgent will be effective on forhead scarring hmmm well c..
you have scars from microdermabrassion?
yes i do
how? its a very gentle procedure? did you have the crystal (particle one?) or the diamond micro?
ive had both done. out of like 4-5 treatments only one scarred me and thats because the good for nothing statistician did a butcher job and didnt know whats she was doing. i i know have shallow scarring on my forehead and nose. i wish i could sue her

gosh! that is terrible :0 ! so what did she do exactly that was wrong? and the one it went wrong with was that diamond or crystal? which did you feel was better and safer?
also, i assume you had a different statistician? If i get it done, i am only considering the diamond tip as it is meant to be gentler? also i would only use one person to do it, she said she would put it on the most gentle setting (diamond tip) and see how the skin reacts and go from there
@jackthelad - i dont remember whether it was diamond tip or not. i just remember it being a horrible experience. micro derm also appeared to remove melanin from my pigment which gave me a pale complexion which i didn't like at all since im already light as it is.
Day 4 - swelling has gone down all the way by now exept for a little on my right side where more shots where done since my worst scars are on that side. the wounds are healing nicely on my left and right side. the redness is mostly cleared up on my left side. i styll have some redness on my right side where hewent aggressive on. i currently have polysporin on it and i have been applieng it ever since i was treated last thrursday. im currently taking 100mg zinc supplements for healing, multi vitimians, whey protein shakes, drinking alot of water, eating healthy and getting alot of rest. im glad i dont have to expreince what i experenced the first time because it was realling nerve racking in the begging as it was my first time going through the ''down time'' phase. i know whats expected and its all a cake walk from here. my third treatment will be three months from now.
I also wanted to bring to everyones attention about my doctor wanting me to volunteer for a clinical trial on enerjet and sugar water instead of hylouronic acid. i wonder what relation sugar water has with collage reporduction? if anyone knows please elaborote thanx
I think, Austra&EagerMiner are right. In your case HA is mainly the means to an end (subsicion followed by wound healing/collagen production - HA on its own isn't able to increase collagen production). And since a replacement fluid is much cheaper...
Are you sure, that your doctor talked about sugar water not NaCl?

Hi All,
I don't normally post on forums but in the interest of maybe being able to add something helpful, here's my experience:
Due to moderate facial scaring (just past the mid-point on most measuring scales), over the last 5 years I have undergone 8 dermaroller, 3 dermapen & PRP injection combinations. 2 subcisions, and some intermittent TCA Cross. My subjective opinion is that I have had an improvement of about 35%. All the treatments were conducted by Prof A Chu in Hammersmith Hospital, London.
On Tue (2 days ago) I tried "Enerjet" which I'm informed is the successor to "Airgent". While it is far too early to make any firm conclusions, I am hopeful that this thing may actually work. Although I still look a bit rough from the treatment, my initial assessment is quite positive. If I had to quantify I would say maybe a further 25% reduction in the scarring. Which is massively effective considering all the results of treatments prior to this.
I don't know yet whether the mechanism is a temporary filler effect or (as claimed) a longer term collagen induction process. I am due another session in a month or so. I will let you know how I get on.
Good luck to everyone.

Good luck, jes7. I hope Enerjet gives you the improvement you want. What kind of scarring are you mostly treating?
So I had the treatment done yesterday. Dr Matta and his staff were all very nice. The treatment essentially involved no pain and lasted 30 minutes, and the price was not bad (full face $600+Tax).
Immediately after the treatment, my face was quite swollen. By the time I arrived home (an hour later), it was already better. It is not as horrible as I thought. I even went out for some grocery shopping with a hoodie on last night. There are simply a lot of mosquito bites like reddish bumps. Honestly my face looked way worse when I had those breakouts in my early 20s.
I have attached two photos in my gallery for you to see how it looks on the day of treatment.
Since it is recommended a 3 months gap between treatments, I plan to do the next treatment on Feb 14, just before Family Day long weekend, then the third one May 15 before Victoria Day. I am holding my expectation moderate for now after so many disappointments, but from what No Hope described, I am kind of excited about it as well. If I can get over 50% improvement after 3 sessions, that will be totally worth it.
Dr Matta says only 5 doctors perform this procedure in Canada by the way.

Was this treatment done by Dr.Chu? I am looking into him also, thinking about doing dermaroller treatment, did he apply any serums/creams after dermaroller, such as Vitamin C etc?
Thanks.
Thanks Allex, it's awesome to see the true aftermath. It does look like a bad acne breakout. Keep us posted on how much the swelling goes down in the coming days. I'm seriously considering this though I live in California, so I prefer not to go through the airport looking horrendous. Are you a local Allex?
Does anyone know if the hyaluronic acid they use is cross linked? Meaning it is meant to last as long as other HAs like Restylane or Juvederm?
FYI, the hyaluronic acid that naturally occurs in our bodies are not crosslinked, so they get destroyed and replaced by the body in a matter of days. The crosslinking in Restylane prevents the body from degrading it quickly. I ask because I was wondering if the added benefit of HA plumping up your scars lasts for at least a few months. Also, if is cross linked, I can also see why you would want to wait a few months so you don't get too much filler and end up looking puffy faced.
Holy crap they just got it in downtown Toronto!!! thats amazing! thank god i dont have to travel so god dam far! it seems that doc's are catching wind of enejet and are in the process of buying the machines. i actually look forward to get my third treatmetn at this down town location,
**Update** day 9 since my second treatment. my cheeks look like there healed pretty well just a little bruising on my right cheek but u can barley tell. i think its official that you certainly start seeing the result after 1-2 weeks. my right cheek which is the worst cheek looks way better now. it seems the improvement stacked on to the previous improvement from my first session which is excellent because it confirms that the more you do the more improvement u gain. im only on my 9 th day post and things are already looking good. i cant imagine how much more it will improve down the line.
im about to sign up to a gym to start working out again. im gonna see if cardio and loosing weight has any effect on the results of enerjet. cant wait!

You are welcome.
I used to live in California and now in Toronto.
It seems I am healing fast. Today (day 2) most of the bruising is gone. Now I just look like I have a *moderate* acne situation. The doctor said I will look "horrible" for 5-7 days, but it is only day 2, it is nowhere near "horrible" and I think I am comfortable walking outside already. Not sure if it is a good or bad thing (whether I am a quick healer, or my skin is not responding?)

Do you plan to change doctor?
I live downtown as well, and both Yorkville and King W are within walking distance for me. Brampton is a 45 minutes drive and I had to rent a car, but I feel comfortable with Dr Matta, and I am not sure it is worth the switch as there are only 2 treatments left (only one for you).
Also, don't know if price would be the same. Dr Matta said he will raise the price significantly next year since the supplier has done so, but he will grandfather those who started the treatment with him this year (the price would remain $600). My guess is that a Yorkville location could be significant more expensive.
Good to see you are seeing more results, I am encouraged!
