No Hope, What percentage would you say you're currently at today (with Improvement) after your first treatment of Ener_Jet?

No Hope, What percentage would you say you're currently at today (with Improvement) after your first treatment of Ener_Jet?

Nov 1 marks 3 months after my first treatment. things are looking better then i expected. i didnt think i would get anymore improve ment after the second month but to my surprise imrpovement keeps on going which is super great. my skin went form being unacceptable to acceptable . also both cheeks (where all my scars are at) look more toned, plumper and uniformed with the surrounding skin. it gos to show that some serious collagen production has been going on because my skin looked no where near how it looks now.

Im am going in for my second treatment next thursday. on Feb 1 willl most likley be my last treatment depending on how satisfied i am. if the improvement increases after these next 2 sessions the results should be fabulous. i will be posting after photos after my third treatment so i can give an official before and after on enerjet since its a series of three treatments. Who knows maybe i will be proof in the near future that you can indeed improve ur scars to the point of them not bothering you. only time will tell.

Last but not Least i want to remind everyone why enerjet is effective. it creates trauma to the scar thus breaking up the scar tissue which is how the collagen remodeling process startes to happen. at the same time of the puncture from the high pressure air (no needles) hyluronic acid is delivered as a bonus and to keep the scar tissue from reataching. So that being said its the same concept as needling, dermarolling, tca cross, fillers, ..extc the main key is to make the collagen reproduction proccess happen . this procedure convinced me that the only way for your scars to change shape, get smaller , fill up is to break up the scar tissue with a controlled method(in this case enerjet). this machine was made in Isreal, they really know there stufff!

P.S it is alot more invasive then u think so yes post prcedure things can look very scary BUT after the down time eveyrthing is a blast from there!

No hope, does this treatment make you look like you have fillers in your cheeks (not unlike those crazy celebrities who put too much botox everywhere in their face)? It just struck me that it might give that kind of an effect and that could make one's face look a bit unnatural. :( Otherwise the treatment sounds fabulous. I'm still very surprised a filler could be so effective on boxcars and look forward to seeing before-after pictures. Good luck with everything and thanks for keeping us updated!!

i dont know what it looks like to have filler put in your face but i would say no. the most is a bump where the machine gos on. it looks like a mosquito bite. these bumps go away completley withing 3 or 4 days. after that everthing is smoothed out andd even. i had quite a few shots to the right side of my cheek and only some spots had a small bump . point is there is down time for a reason. you will look like you have had a severe acne break out. it was pretty scary for me and nerveracking because this is the first time i have done anything invasive and first time going through the down time phase.

austra i have to remind you that airgent is NOT just filler. its is a combination of SUBCISION and filler. i guess alot of people still think its only filler and all about filler,

the machine first does the subcison part then the filler. in the end the subcision part of this method is what gives you the improvement in the end because there has to be some trauma in order for the collagen reproduction to start happening

i got it done in brampton ontario. people are reporting that dr.Matta does not deal with patients from the U.S SO if i was you i would call them and book appointemnt for treatment and make sure u make it clear that u want treatment on the day of. if they ask where are you from you simply say your from toronto or anyother city within the province. its as simple as that. if that doesnt work out then the location in perth which is northern ontario will be able to treat you as i can recall another member being treated in perth.

My second treatment is tommorow so i will be blogging my experience again. i cant wait!

also if u manage to book in a treatment with dr.matta make sure u have eveyrthing planned out as for as timing. calculate how long it takes to get to brampton from chicago. goodluck

No Hope, best luck on your treatment tomorrow.

My appointment is next Friday, and I am super excited. Do you think 3 days are enough for the down time and will I be presentable for work on Tuesday? I probably would have to call in sick Tuesday!

A more important question: do I need to apply anything after the treatment? if so, What Do i need to buy in advance (as I will be too hideous to go to the store afterwards).

thank you allex , honestly i dont think 3 days is enough that is unless ofcourse you dont care about what you look like after.

lukily my work is really flexable and i can pull off having alot of days off or else i dont know how i would do it.

what i put on the area treated is polysporin ointment for healing. i also take zinc supplements to aid in healing. you can get zinc at your local pharmacy. i also ate very healthy, drank plenty of water, took multi vitamins here n there and thats about it. i also didnt wash my face until like 4 days later but this time im gonna wash like 1 or 2 days after. your supposed to scab so i dont wanna disturb the scabs as it is a sign of healing. this time i plan to drink alot of protein as its supposedly good in tissue repair and healing.

too give you a good picture on how it will look like right after is a massive break out of moderate/severe acne. some spots will look like bumble bee stings. its pretty intense i must admit. thankfully im mentally prepared for this becaus im not used to doing and undergoing these kinda things. too bad u didnt book ur treatment for this month. you woulf of got a 20% discount on treatment, its a promotion they having that expires nov 1

Is the $600 for full-face or only a portion? I was told it is slightly cheaper if it is just a specific area.

its for full face, i would imagine it being cheaper if its for a spot only.

Today i received my second enerjet session. things went better then the first time. i made sure the doc hit all my scars. things r the same as first treatment right after, fresh wounds on my cheeks and alittle bit of swelling. i have polysporin right now on it. i am hopeful that things will look better den last time and im exited to see how much improvement i receive from this session.

some things i wana mention since they updated the machine the doc told me its better now and that there will be less downtime.

also i found out the reason on why they dont treat patients from the states is because they dont have insurance for it. i dont really understand the whole insurance and patient thing but oh well sounds like b.s to me but what can you do.

for those that want this done and your from the states i recommend checking out the perth location in northern ontario. for those that wanna see what it looks like post procedure i will take some pictures today and just pm me if you wanna see them.

It would be really great to see the immediate aftermath to mentally prepare for it.

I found this video on youtube, and the welts afterwards are very big. I can imagine that you would look hideous immediately post op. If one had to fly in for this procedure, it would be pretty embarrassing to have to walk through an airport looking like that LOL.

Austra asked a great question about the fullness in the cheeks after Airgent. I've had fillers before for acne scars and they always seem to over-inject, giving a very bloated, full appearance to the cheeks. It just looks odd. I wonder if Airgent just spreads the filler so diffusely that after the swelling goes down, you will look normal and NOT like you had filler done. I absolutely hate that overfilled look, which I've experienced in the past.

No_Hope, did you find that you still looked normal and not "done" after all the swelling went down? Exactly how many days does it really take to be fully presentable in public after swelling and redness has gone?

I wonder when someone will bring this to the US?

I thought I would share my experience with airgent. I had it done in London by Dr Patel. I was told that I would need three treatments.

I had one treatment and I feel as though it made VERY LITTLE IF ANY difference. Now, I am doubtful if a further two is suddenly going to change things. I think my scars are incredibly stubborn. I have had dermaroller, fraxel, subscision, radiofrequency subcision, and needling done on more than one occasion!

I am actually going to make a post about my scars and treatment experiences, but this last venture with airgent or 'enerjet' as it has been referred to by the Viva clinic in London where I was treated, does not seem to be anything special.

As with other treatments some people respond well, others don't. I am now seriously considering fillers because I don't think collagen inducting treatments are working for me...

Maybe he didn't treat aggressively? Or maybe there was a different amount of HA injected.

The first couple of subcisions I heard hardly any sound when the scars were getting untethered. This last time I heard a lot more on the side of my face where the scars are the worst/deepest. I had assumed it was fat loss but the scarring was just that bad.

Try 3-5 aggressive fraxel repairs first. Then if that doesn't work and your scars are indeed amenable to fillers, opt instead for permanent liquid silicone injections, which seem to work better.

lol your very right on that one. i expressed how ugly it can look right after. right now it looks like i had a bad acne break out or i got hit in the cheeks with a ball of spikes. the swelling has gone down alot compared to yesterday. i think the update on the machine did make a difference.

after the swelling gos down yes you look normal. im assuming the needle injection method of fillers just isnt up to par with the enerjet machine since enerjet was designed to safley induce a controlled wound for collagen production (this is where subcison comes in) and then safley put the amount of filler needed so there wont be any overfilling. also you can adjust it on the machine .

im srry to hear that jimmie. enerjet is meant to stack up its improvement on top of each other with each seassion you do...so i dont see how after 1 session you should be doubtful on how the next two sessions wont change things. there some things you have to consider. matter of fact im really curious on how your treatment was done in the U.K since im in canada. it would be nice to compare 2 different doctors from 2 different countrys on how they perform this treatment.

some of the thing you wanna consider is where is your scarring located? did your doc break up the scar tissue within your scars? did he miss any scars? things like that. its very hard to tell if the doc hit every scar when there is a tremendous amount of swelling going on.

some of the thing you wanna consider is where is your scarring located? did your doc break up the scar tissue within your scars? did he miss any scars? things like that. its very hard to tell if the doc hit every scar when there is a tremendous amount of swelling going on.

Try 3-5 aggressive fraxel repairs first. Then if that doesn't work and your scars are indeed amenable to fillers, opt instead for permanent liquid silicone injections, which seem to work better.

dr.matta mentioned you called the office i believe . it sucks that patients from outside canada cant get treated with matta he really is a cool laid back guy. makes you feel very comfortable and has a good sense of humour . no one wants to get treatment from a rude asshole lol

Why doesn't he treat patients from out of country? Doesn't make any sense..

thats what i was thinking too. he said because he doesnt have insurance for patients outisde of canada. it doesnt make sense to me either but u can still call the perth locationo i think they are accepting patients from the u.s

Where did you get this done again bro? I might get an enerjet appointment and drive there from Chicago.

i got it done in brampton ontario. people are reporting that dr.Matta does not deal with patients from the U.S SO if i was you i would call them and book appointemnt for treatment and make sure u make it clear that u want treatment on the day of. if they ask where are you from you simply say your from toronto or anyother city within the province. its as simple as that. if that doesnt work out then the location in perth which is northern ontario will be able to treat you as i can recall another member being treated in perth.

My second treatment is tommorow so i will be blogging my experience again. i cant wait!

also if u manage to book in a treatment with dr.matta make sure u have eveyrthing planned out as for as timing. calculate how long it takes to get to brampton from chicago. goodluck

Do you have scars on your nose?

alittle bit of hyper and hyp on the left side from microdermabrassion, an enlarged pore on the right side thats about it. im curious if airgent will be effective on forhead scarring hmmm well c..

Hey, well you have probably seen my pics now. I have had loads of treatments done, and he is known to be a good cosmetic doctor here in the UK. He did indeed hit lots of scars, I can't fault him on that. Also, I had subcision done with him previously which seemed to go well. Perhaps 1 treatment is not enough and I simply need to go for some more?

I am just reluctant to splash out a further 200 for another treatment which may not be effective.

The redness of the scars bothers me both but after 3 vbeams I have not had much improvement!
