I hope most of you understand the importance of protecting your skin and scars from the sun.

When I got my last scar I thought it was just a mark, I went into the sun maybe a month after I'd gotten it thinking it would help. No prorection. I live in the sunny state, and it was summer. Still no excuse.

It turned a brighter red than my face when I burned, and it stung far more worse than my other sun burned areas.

And now I'm paranoid to go into the sun. Lesson learned. I dont want a huge painful red spot again.

But that leads me to some questions. Has anyone a similar experience? Is it just the new scars or larger scars that burn/turn red and hurt?

I have noticed other scars on my face, but they blend in now. Don't even know what they're from. Only just noticed.
