Thanks Rez77...i hear what you're saying. I dont know if it would be the answer to pitted-type acne scars, will have to see how things improve over time with mine before making a judgement on that
its still healing but seems more pink now compared to the surrounding skin. I think the indent is improving but the pinkness makes it remain visible just now. Certainly from the front, with a little make up on, the scar is now invisible. Couple more weeks and i'll do some new pics
Hi, why does his website have some spelling errors and bad sentencing? I think someone should inform Dr.Dolynchuk about that because I personally think it affects an individuals impression of the professionalism towards the professional.
One mistake is at the contact us, Feilds. *fields
Another is when you see the sign up . If you would to receive newletters, sign up below. should add a like between would and to.
How come I can't find anything related to Recell on his website?
GBL: Just wondering how did you manage to cover up the indentation with make-up, wouldn't it be able to cover up pigmentation only?

look - I really don't care - I was nice enough to do the research to find the ONLY Dr in Canada who advertises using recell - why don't you ask the Dr or webmaster abouth the spelling or get a mommy!!

What does breast augmentation have to do with this? Recell is used mainly for burns, and scars. And I don't care if you care or not, as far as I can see he doesn't advertise on Recell he only wrote a document where you have to pay to see his material which is kind of bogus. Clearly, if he wanted to advertise it would be on his website.
So he certainly does not want to promote this treatment due to unknown reasons.
You should get a daddy!! to teach you some manners.

Cool --if the indent is really filling up, that's AMAZING. fingers crossed!

From the front, the indent doesnt show. Even from one side now, you can barely see it. Its just from one side now that it becomes apparant.
Before, the indent wasnt too noticeable from the front either, mainly the texture/pigment, and even with make up, the shininess of the skin texture showed it was covering a scar. Now with texture improved so much, the make up covers the slight pinkness from the procedure, and it really is vanished from that angle.
This is all great news GBL --actually the fact that it's totally solved your pigmentation issues and the silvery texture etc. means that it would probably be a 100 percent cure for something like stretch marks. Do you think? Stretch marks are not very deep, they're just little tears in the underlying dermis and the main problem is the skin texture of the scars, not so much their depth, which is minimal anyways. I have a few on my bicep area and stomach from lifting weights, losing weight etc.. I HATE THEM.
this is definitely great news.
My perception of Re-cell has always been a "final touch'" treatment. The icing on the cake. To do its best to blend your scars with the rest of your skin by giving you new tissue. I never thought of it as a "filler" or collagen stimulater although it might have a bit of it.
Alot of people don't realize that even if you are able create collagen to raise your scars, often times the borders of the scars are still somewhat seen, although drastically improved. I am hoping Re cell has the potential to blend the scars with the rest of the skin near 100%.

Yeah but Roller do you mean in addition to the laser resurfacing which GBL had? Isn't that a collagen etc. stimulator? Will the laser plus the recell improve the scars or only surface? What are your thoughts on what would work as a final solution for depressed/rolling scars? Please give me some hope!!!!! What about the acellular matrix or whatever it's called, do you think that will do the trick when used with aggressive laser treatment? I need help on depressed scars!
I think a case can be made for better results when combining Re-Cell with any procedure. Re-Cell has been used to treat burn victims without laser, so Re-Cell is effective in its own right for surface improvement. By itself for scars ?? .... there's no case that i know of.
I guess you can make an argument that Re-Cell or laser treatments judged independantly are not as effective as most would like. However, when the two treatments are combined, you can't help but notice synergistic improvements in the few cases that we've seen.
I own a composite parts manufacturing company. We produce carbon fiber exterior parts for sports cars and race cars. Carbon fiber parts consist of a matrix between carbon fiber fabric and resin. Carbon fiber fabric alone is worthless in regards to strength. Resin by itself is equally as worthless. However, when combining the two using a certain procedure... you can create one of the strongest and lightest parts known to mankind. Fighter jets are made with this stuff. The final result is 100x greater strength than each part uncombined. You cannot ignore the power of synergy.
A one shot treatment? probably not for deeper scars. Significant improvements with combo treatment? I definitely think so, although its difficult at this point to understand why.
I personally wouldn't do laser alone because asian skin is susceptible to hyper/hypopigmentation, especially with ablative lasers. I would need Re-cell to counteract the possibility of those side effects and whatever other damaging side effect lasers come with.
The surface texture is much better expressed after the treatment. I imagine it will get even better over time vs the shiney untextured skin the scar had before you did this. I have read a lot about this treatment and the one that fibrocell science uses. It's going to fill in more and the surface will get even better over time in both texture and pigmentation- Stay out of the sun!!!! First and second degree burns shortly after healing have a red pigment issue similar to what I think this wound is displaying. It disappears after a few months. Hang in there. I bet 6 months from now you will be shocked. I would push your doc to do the Fibrocell Science stuff as well when that 6 month mark hits. Don't do the chemical filler crap. Use your own cells.
Sorry for the double post, but I can not stress this enough.
Please let this treatment heal. I can sense some sort of unhappiness on your end with the result as it appears right now. Doing something else like rolling or slathering chemicals on this still healing wound might put the final result in jeopardy.
See where it is 6 months from now, and if it doesn't fill in enough or it still looks bad. Then you should push your Doctor to do the Fibrocell Science "LaViv" treatments to fill it in and improve it further.
Best thing about the LaViv treatments is that fibrocell can keep harvesting/making more fibroblast from the original tissue sample they take/get from behind your ear. So those filler treatments -which are not fillers- Considering the results are permanent and not chemically based or influenced, and it will continue to improve over time while correcting the pigment and skin texture issues as well.
I'd rather go that route verses a chemical laying under the scar doing absolutely nothing outside of raising it up.
I mean to me that means one more stick behind the ear. Smaller in size than the one you did for the Recell stuff, and you end up with as many filler treatments as you need with your own cells until the you reach a result that really gives you peace. Stay strong.
Send your doc to fibrocellscience.com to the LaViv section. He has to contact them to be trained to do this. It is not FDA approved for scars yet. It is FDA approved to treat labial folds around the nose and wrinkles on the face.
Scars are next on the FDA/ Clinical Trial list.
They do have doctors doing trials with LaViv for scars and burns and gums. I don't know how all this works but I'm sure he can manage a way to use it for your needs 6 months from now, if he contacts them now.
Nobody can amagine the trouble I have had and still have because of scars. It goes way further than psychological problems alone. Have had an argument with a psychologist who believed that scars aren't a issue. She never read what problems scars can bring. Now I see her in court just to prove my point.
Stil this story gives me hope and that keeps me out of a depression. So in a year time, when I saved some money, I am going for this treatment.
I am studying psychology myself in the Netherlands. So I know some tactics to keep me going. Of all things hope works the best.
So thanks.

hey. Thanks. i absolutely KNEW the full results will take several months to show and in spite of gearing myself up for that, yes i was a little disappointed but i KNOW its going to improve . so when i talk about further treatments, im talking 6 months, a year down the line. The fact that theres still pinkness shows its not finished healing yet.
Dont forget i had a lot of needling at the same time as the laser so this should have increased collagen production aswell. It wasnt just laser. I had the stem cell solution injected into the area aswell

Hey, I totally understand what you're going through which is why I feel I must find a permanent cure to this problem --are your scars as bad as mine? Check my pics on BRD's thread right towards the end. I don't know how they'll be fixed, but I'm hoping some of the more aggressive laser/stem cell combos will work. Let me know what your research!
Stupid Stupid people commenting on your results as though what we see now is the final product...
I think you will end up with a very nice result from what I can see. Angiogensis is increased when using Recell/Acell and the pinkness will take many months to fade completely (but it will).
During this time your scar will coninue to contract and level out.
As another poster said (about the only constructive post) don't touch your scar for a good 4-5 months.
IMO you're going to end up with a very nice result!
Hey GBL just wanted to say that about a month ago I had tca crossed one of my box scars with salicylic acid by myself prob dumb thing to do and when the scab came off it was way worse then pre cross soi was like F*** but post one month it's filled up quite a bit (won't do that again). ive it a bit of time I'm sure it will fill up more.
Also have you tried using rose hip oil on the scar? it's what i'm using right now it's a natural retinol that reduces the appearence of scars. quite cheap at your local health store. it's like natural retin-a and pack omega-3 and other useful lipids. Best thing is it's natural.
Also Roller I'm planning to PM you soon as you seem to have the same view as I do. I was thinking of telling you my plan on how to deal with my scars using the skin-gun but i think it's still applicable to re-cell.
Hey GBL, I have a question you may not be able to answer --but do you sense that the area that has been treated has actually generated "new skin" or "new tissue". In other words, does it feel like the area has just had layers taken off and is now healing(hopefully more smoothly), or that in addition to the surface abrasion, a kind of new tissue has been regenerated.
Another way of putting this is, do you think your treatment holds any application for "anti-aging" --does the area feel tauter, younger, healthier or perhaps evince less wrinkles? Just curious if this is an anti-aging solution as well.
rez- hard to say but it seems like new skin has grown over existing structure. because i had shiny, flat white skin over a dent and now i have normal textured, potentially normal coloured skin over a lesser indent
as for anti aging, i dont know if the improvements would be limited by the aged-ness of the donor site?
i think over the whole face for anti aging , the skin might look new and less wrinkled but the contours might remain almost the same ....which doesnt tackle the drooping face issues in aging. But I cant say i havent researched it for ant aging!

Thanks for your reply --I totally understand what you're saying about droopingness of the face LOL! But I've noticed that my hands for example, they're have much more visible wrinkles(not really wrinkles but I can see the texture of the skin, whereas before it all just looked smooth) since I hit my 30s. So I was wondering if the superficial texture could be smoothed by your procedure to look like young skin(at least surface wise). I understand you probably can't tell from the small area you had treated! Still very excited to hear about your continued progress!
