How can microneedling make scars worse? I don't understand. After all, the needles are very thin, thinner than microcoring needles (which are perceived by many as a potential scar treatment)
Also, why you prefer dermapen over roller?
they have been doing research for a long time.I think it will come out soon
who knows what is the procedure?
Guys, so I really want to know about Gemstone Biotheraputics. Essentially, they got a pig skin to heal with no scarring with their Hydrogel and they are on 510K track for the FDA. This means they technically don't need clinical data to put it on the market, but I was listening to a podcast where their CEO (Emily English) said they were doing clinical trials to show proof of concept still in human subjects. On the clinical trials website they did have a public human trial in which was supposed to end in May 2020. There have been no updates on results and when I contacted the company, it was said that Emily English is no longer with the company. I contacted Sharon Grecht the person who created the hydrogel to see whats up.
Can we all group together to update on latest developments? I've been looking everywhere for updates. Still waiting on Gemstone...PIRL laser is one I found where it can cut out scar tissue and not cause other tissue damage, but it won't be doing clinical trials for at least to 2-3 years.

Well if u cut out the scar tissue , you have to replace it with something.

There is still a scar after this. I've read the procedure. It is an ablative nonetheless even if it's not as intense as other lasers. The incisions heal with scars(fibrosis) not regenerated tissue.

He's lying bro, do your research(it's even called a near scarless technique because of its microscarring). That's all I'll say, if you want to go for it then I wish you the very best.
Ablatives burn tissue and cause scars, you could be as precise as you want, the scars will still form.

That's a paper on his device with his name on it, do a quick search of "scar" and tell me what you find.
