Scar tissue is too strong and hard to get through, i think the main goal should be a product that could dissolve only scar tissue in the skin, followed by a well developed hydrogel.
I think wound healing sector shouldve have more attention from the scientific community, sometimes it seems that only few are working out on it

I would like this , like a gel that dissolves scar tissue , because i have an eyelid indent ( on the eyelid margin ) it isn't noticeable to anyone i talk to , my mother can't see anything ... but it's still bothersome.

This is great news, more and more proof that hydrogels can solve scarring but I dont understand one thing why dont they rush those products to market?! Solving scarring can made bilionsof profit so why do just test it on animals and we never hear again

Unfortunately that's how medical research goes. You can't really rush stuff to market when it takes years of animal studies and then years of human trials to prove something is both safe and effective for us.

Its because even thothere is anything out there that can bring scar free healing, i doubt it can "change" a scar tissue back to a normal skin, u will need to excise/remove the damagedtissue completely leaving a deep hole that hopefully will be scarless fullfiled by a hydrogel or anything that could change our regeneration mechanism, so, another thing that comes to mind is, why so many protocols/treatments/studies are always trying to focus in "improve' scar tissue instead of erasing it completely and discover new methods to change the regeneration process after we removed all the scarred area? After several reports already showing that scarless healing already has ben shown in several reportsbut not only that, scarless healing isactually aprocess that happens in fetus, what companies are doing still focusing in creams, lasers or whatever bullshit that clearly will not work
Doesnt sound too archaic that we are still hurting, piercing, burning, using useless creams in order to improve something that we know will never be completely out until we literally remove the entire damaged tissue and replace somehow with "good one" or create the right envinroment to scarless healing take place

Doesnt it sound so clear? Why we still see so many bullshit in 2020? I cant understand

If scientists still can't regenerate human severed limbs, then we will never have scarless healing. A more robust immune system is believed to hinder regeneration. Mammals have evolved in such a way that infectious dwellers are dealt withfirst hand and scar tissue is the evolutionary responseto seal wounds effectively. It's a compromise of sorts. Researchers have figured out ways to change cells to perform other functions, however everything is in the experimental stage. What you have posted is nothing new.If you can manipulate the immune system, then you can start investigating a path to mammalian regeneration. The key is to perform commissioning work and making it all work together efficiently.

Why does it trigger you so much? If scarless healing becomes reality they™ll cut it once and you™ll have perfect skin there, ill say its a small price to pay

My thoughts exactly man. I think the goal should be to find a way to replace scar tissue with healthy skin, not to "make it a little better".

I agree with you but I think elastogen might be a very viable way of not having excise scar tissue. Apparently through mode of action, the collagen builds a basket network with the elastic matrix and they stipulate hair follicle growth as well. I think these are hypothesis at the moment, but dont underestimate the elastic matrix, that will allow no tension on the wound as allow collagen to normalise. Who knows ay.

What treatments or methods are coming to market in near future? When will elastogen and microcoring get released?

Elastagen will be years away. Microcoring supposed to be 2020 but I suspect with everything going on in the world now it will likely be 2021.

Sunogel and Gemstone "Should" be around the corner within 2 years.

If you wanna go on recent history then basically whatever the bio company says just add 5 years to that.

I was hoped elastagen will be available in 2021 or 2022. Is it too soon ?

I can only agree with this, honestly.

-Elastagen is 2-3 years away before we can benefit from their products, since abbvie/allergan is finding the best way to incorporate them into a hydrogel/injectable solutions AND it's mostly a very big breakthrough for stretch marks and SOME types of acne scars. It's going to take several additional years for them to figure out a way to take care of icepick/box scars as well as hypetrophic scars. So basically we're gonna have to wait for 2022-2023 for stretch marks and some acne scars to get fixed, and way more for the rest. Not exactly the ideal scenario for a lot of people

-Gemstone might be worth it, I don't trust sunogel to release anything good in the future.

So yeah, as far as scarless healing goes, there's still a long way to go

It will be available in 2022-2023, in two main forms: the first one being an anti-stretch marks injectable, the second one being an anti-acne scars injectable. And like I said before, big scars (atrophic scars) won't be dealt with that soon, it will take more research.

We've been talking about this in length on this forum, and most people would agree that, while it does look like a real breakthrough for stretch marks, it's still not there yet for other types of scarring.

Oh guys I have some great news, microcoring will get released late 2020 or at worst at the begining of 2021, it proved to heal scarlessly when needles weresmaller than 500 micrometers. In one sitting they can remove 5-8% of the skin, so it might be posaible to remove all scarring in 20 maybe even 13 treatments. I dont know about you guys but if it truesly works and comes out to market im gonna try it. Heres a videoa surgeon is talking about itfrom month ago and hes talking great things about it

I asked the director of a laser company today. He told me he didn't know if micro-coring would help with acne scars. He said it was an anti-wrinkle procedure.

I also really want to see how microcoring can help with acne scars.  Do you know about Sunogel?  Why is this not being written about on the Internet right now?  Why are they silent?

Some good news about elastagen:

I asked a famous dermatologist in Washington (Harvard degree + John Hopkins hospital degree) about elastagen, since she had the chance to see the product not too long ago, and she told me that it's going to be a real game changer for stretch marks (she didn't mention body scars and hypertrophoc scars though). I was linked this from her secretary (check the attached file)

So bottomline, it's nothing new, but this is another element that kinda validates the theory that this is going to be great for stretch marks.

Hey there, new user around here.

I've also been reading tons of stuff about Elastagen, and I've been asking several dermatologists (who I knew were aware of the existence of the clinical trial company), and they also say it's very promising for stretch marks (which is what I'd like to treat in the near future). The 80%-90% reduction thingy is kinda what I got while looking around, but you have to keep in mind that's it's more about the overall "volume", apparently, which basically means that the lesions will be filled by new skin at around 80%-90%, only leaving very small depressions, and making it really hard to see the difference between healthy skin and stretch mark skin. So yeah, I think we have the right to be hyped !

When will such things come to the market? How many people in the world are suffering from scars? We live in the age of technology! I think it will be released in the next 5 years, because medicine is developing rapidly.

This Dr in this video who has been using Microcoring as part of trials for skin tightening even says there are a lot of variables and things they are learning about Microcoring. Also this was the line I got from Cytrellis when they said recently they are still developing Microcoring.

Microcoring removes skin soit will help scars absolutely. The only thing we dont know is how well it will perform as in how many treatments will you need to remove scars. Removing Wrinkles/excess skin will yield results faster than scars yes which makes it more appealing for those aesthetics. It could be a long process for treating scars but it will be worth it to gradually remove the undesired scar tissue, both patience and accuracy will be essential.Microcoring was always designed towards skin tightening intially hence you will hear more commentary around that but now itsbeing trialled for scars. Said to be released late 2020 or early 2021

Exciting times ahead!!
