I got a call with him after a brief delay.I've already reached out to him a number of times in the past.... I don't want to be annoying or seem obsessive. But the truth is, I'm so desperate for Sunogel. It sounds so much more ideal to me than the Polarity procedure. I'm so tired of waiting, my whole life has been on hold for so long now.
There is the latest article from Dr. Sun and his comrades on Pubmed (April 2018) about his team revision of current and following scarless healing devices and treatments. But it's not still free. Probably he gave his opinion about Polarity.
How im reading the feedback so far is that it functions and feels like native skin. No mention of looks. BUT that does not put me off because getting function and feel is proberly one of the biggest steps. For the look, blending' colour etc there is stuff available now for all that such as lasers, recell, microneedling, camoflage permanant pigement etc so it might not be a one stop shop solution but a step in a few. Again its about paitence.
I think sunogel is the one to watch for healing scars as we all would like...eg perfection lol x
Chances are Devon is the one pictured in their most recent presentation (the leg injury). And my goodness, hair growth in that? That would be truly remarkable and a sign that as the healing progresses it could indeed lead to complete regeneration. After all, hair follicles have been majorly implicated as a factor for regeneration in several different studies by other researchers.
Again, everyone seems to be hung up on whether or not this will or won't work for acne scars. In my conversations with both Dr. Swanson (PolarityTE) and Dr. Sun (Sunogel) they said they believe both products will work for acne, or any other type of scarring, if they can get regeneration for burns. This is why I bristle at terms like "normal" scars. A scar is a scar and in order to get rid of it you'll need to remove all layers anyway. At that point, you just have a wound bed that can either heal with a scar (as is our body's natural way) or be directed toward complete regeneration (as PolarityTE and Sunogel aim to do).
Sunogel is preferred for the simple reason that you don't need to have a biopsy of healthy skin for it to work. I brought up SkinTE during my conversation with Dr. Sun and while he was familiar with it, he didn't know enough to speak too much about it. He was pretty insistent that you can't go 0-100 in humans even after preclinical success, which is why he said even his hydrogel would likely need optimization for humans.

Sunogel has no Margin correct?
And with this jello it just sits in or on the wound? Sounds like its is quite Viscous this jello and will stay where its put in place.
Also you mention about it needing optimising, does he still feel that way even after he tested this on his finger and it healed without scar?
The finger test was so small im not sure why he couldnt do a slightly bigger wound following this to show its true potential. Its to tempting not to try.

Yup, no margin and the hydrogel is cut to match the wound bed and placed inside (at least in pigs and mice). I'm assuming it's then dressed with something but I could be incorrect. We didn't go into that on our call.
I brought up the finger wound on our call and he kinda laughed it off and said that wasn't a verifiable trial result. It was more about him sustaining an injury and thinking, why not try it?
So yes, in terms of optimization that goes for after treating his finger with the hydrogel. Granted, he has no way of knowing this for certain (unless he's tested it on himself with other, larger wounds) but he was relying on his years of study and research, which are clearly top-notch.

do you have any proof that you had these conversations

I could direct message you the email correspondence I had with both leading up to the phone conversations if you like. I didn't record the calls, but as Raster pointed out, I made notes and posted those as I talked with both Dr. Swanson and Dr. Sun. John Stetson was also on the call with Swanson but he only introduced himself and then stayed silent. I think he was just there as a monitor for the call to make sure nothing was divulged that they didn't want to be at that time.
My convo with Dr. Swanson was on December 13th, 2017, the day before they announced application on humans and I spoke with Dr. Sun on December 26th , 2017.
Not sure why I would make up the convos in your mind, but I can show you the emails like I said if it really bothers you. Note that nothing I reported from these conversations was at all surprising or different than what has since been released outside of Dr. Sun's theory that his product would need optimization. These researchers, in my experience, are not hard at all to talk to. All it takes is effort.
Needless to say I'm super, super skeptical of this hydrogel. I mean acne scars involve a huge degree of volume and tissue loss. Its not clear to me at all how the hydrogel would help fill in this now barren and deflated tissue.
You see here's the problem, and I'm being serious. What happens to your face from an acne scar is very similar to a bout of intense aging. That is, all the things that happen to you as you age are rapidly inflicted when you have an acne scar: the skin loses collagen, it becomes wrinkled or mottled and the texture changes, you develop laxity of skin in that area etc. etc. Thisi is all part of the acne scarring process.
You have significant fat loss in those areas too. Even if the hydrogel dealt with some kind of linear or surface aspect of the scar, how does it help grow back the lost tissue?
Thought some said Polarity doesnt have final results and that its early for conclusionsbut somehow now they release anonymous testimonials that their patient would choose skinTE every timeover what!? Over regular painful crappy skin grafts LOL! Rez is rightPolarity only has the hype of a marking team going for itand apparently some trolls here

When was the last time this was a scarless healing thread? This is a Polarity shilling threaddont you know? Offenders shall get ignored and bearers of realistic updates shall get chased off.
To the ones who still think everyone comes here for skinTE, you are really slow. To anyone whining about posters not coming here for cheerleading Polarity Read the title of this thread. It says scarless healing. Polarity advertisers dont even claim theyll have scarless results!
There are many more lurkers and visitors with real insights that make a U turn upon seeing the belligerent crazies here. Some readers want realistic views. No one with real information posts here. A few think this is their exclusive Polarity hype porn club. You cant hog this thread with Polarity and cry when others opinions offend your fantasy of SkinTEs magic waiting at the corner for you.
Youre righta few weeks ago I came here for real news and looking for intelligent people, I stayed for the trolls and shills. This is only good for trolling and shilling. Some people here even have conflicts of interests because they hold Polaritys stocks.
The question is why dont YOU start a thread called POLARITY CHEERLEADING SQUAD?? Cause thats clearly what you want! You can cry there about people not joining your SkinTE fantasy club and babysitting your hopes.

Check this dudes posting history since he joined not long ago, you couldnt find a bigger cry baby on the internet if you tried. Im seeing alot of similarities with Rezs posts (bitter towards PolarityTe), patting each other on the back, both cant resist coming back and always posting same time, just saying I wouldnt put it past Rez to stoop this low lol...
Btw PolarityTe and Sunogel take up 90% of this scarless healing thread because they are the 2 most likely and hopeful products atm that can deliver complete skin regeneration. Would you prefer we discuss sliced bread or pokemon? Will that make you happy?.....this is a scarless healing thread and we are discussing potential scarless healing products and you are calling us crazy!?!?!...
We all enjoy the discussion so the fact that you get so angry and upset and keep coming back despite telling us repeatedly you are a realist and providing voice of reason suggests maybe your not a realist, you are 40 cents short of a dollar my friend. You and Rez agree coincidentally that it will be 10 years before something is developed and maybe your right or maybe your wrong but its still a wild swing for a couple of internet posters. SkinTe and Sunogel may be the answer or may not, we dont know thats why we are here discussing them and people are entitled to have hope. A realist wouldnt waste their time here getting upset and frustrated with other peoples views, so dont bother trying to convince us for the next 10 years on this thread you love so much that you are a realist. You have no idea how much of a fool you are making of yourself by continuing to come back here.
Annnnddddd back to discussion......again.

ok then message me im waiting.
why cant you post the convo's here?
please tell me if i am right about scar
a scar is made of same protein that of normal skin but in skin is it in basket weave pattern but in scar it align parallely thays why it looks different than normal skin and also that parallely arrangement of fibers blocks regeneration of skin appendages and thats why with years passing some scar start to grow hair because its protein rearranging slowly with time and led it to formation of some appendages
tell me if i am right or wrong ...thanx for further replies
LOL @SniffyI didnt call you by name to give you a chance not to come back for more a** whooping if youre not itching too much. You called out for me and Rez when you could have gotten over your crushed hopes for SkinTE and added your own opinion if you had anything worthy. Yet, you keep seeking our attention. No problem crybaby, Ill mute you too now that you ask for it.
Who said Im frustrated? Dont project your own frustrations. Im thoroughly enjoying myself laughing at you whiny babies still hurting about my realistic update.
Again, try to read what I already answered to your foolishness because apparently you didnt get any of it passed through your skull, or probably its just the IQ issuesock account of the other weirdo

Ironic that its just a certain someone giving negative updates about SkinTE that is demanded email and conversation proof posted here until its sufficiently real for some crybabies who dont bother themselves

Well said. Yeah, we discuss Sunogel and PolarityTE because they are the most promising companies around right now. They're the only two that have achieved complete regeneration in pigs and PolarityTE is being used on actual human patients.
Tano actually did post about the interstitium and how recent research might prove it's the largest organ in the human body, but that was ignored by the likes of Rez and Surgical Scar.
Rez and Surgical Scar, why don't you post new research? You know, actually do something proactive instead of focusing all your efforts on discrediting something you don't know enough about to actually discredit. We all get that you don't think either Sunogel or PolarityTE is the answer. That's fine, I'm not convinced until I see final results one way or another. But show us something else that's actually on topic rather than being a hypocrite and making claims about your "realistic" viewpoint that is nothing more than anger projected on other posters. That's the definition of a troll.
Maybe try contacting and speaking with Dr. Pilkus' team to see how their research is going?
@golfpantherWhy do u @ me if you want something from Rez u crybaby? Those are not the things I said you peanuts for brains. I told you I don't care to discuss anything with you trolls and shills of Polarity.

You brought up in a post that this board hasn't been about scarless healing in a long time. So I @ you to simply say, post something meaningful to the board. Not conjecture or baseless claims, but actual links to research or report back discussions you've had with doctors. I don't recall being a "crybaby" but maybe your definition of one is different than mine.
I'm not a troll or shill of PolarityTE. The whole reason I reached out to them in the first place was a Seeking Alpha article that made me doubt them. I didn't expect to get a conversation with them, but I did and they were very forthcoming with answers.
You can go back and read the post I made reporting what they said. It's not new information at this point, except the stuff about derivatives.
I discuss them because as I quoted Sniffy in saying, SkinTE and Sunogel are the two that have achieved preclinical complete regeneration and SkinTE is the only new tech being used on human patients with the aim of complete regeneration. I don't understand at all why you get so worked up about people discussing it. You can doubt it until final results are released, but being upset about people posting about it on a scarless healing board is irrational.
Again, post something new! I'd be more than happy to discuss new research into scar free healing, scarless healing and complete regeneration of skin. I search at least a few times a week to see if there is new research, but outside of Pilkus and Costarelis and the news about interstitium I haven't really found much. You want the board to be more on topic, be a part of that solution, not a cause of the problem.
Ahhh I am ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING.
Science progresses through active falsification of hypothesis. (Karl Popper) You don't know who Karl Popper is? You don't even deserve to be discussing anything with me. Any hypothesis can be corroborated, but its through the falsification of hypotheses that science PROGRESSES. I'm clearing the wheat from the shaft. I am demonstrating to you all through logical analysis why these supposedly revolutionary technologies don't work.
So taht's my invaluable contribution to this thread. Otherwise you guys would still be flailing about waiting for next year's results from Sunogel. Oh wait......
You are neither hot, nor cold, but lukewarm. And so I chew you up and spit you out!
@golfpanther You still haven't posted the scripts and records of your conversation? I told you where my claims were directly from, alas the thick skulls, while no one except you (without poof) still bothers to ask real sources themselves and perhaps contrast me.
I told you I'm done with you slow trolls 3 pages ago. Yet, you keep calling my name, get your a** handed to you, can't handle the butthurt, come back crying to me...repeat the cycle...You like S&M?
