I find it very amusing that you immediately just took his word for it. A couple of comments up you were demanding evidence, but as soon as someone makes a claim that favors your argument, you disregard seeking evidence for that specific claim and just regard it as true. Judging by how happy and assertive you became with just a single post, I almost think you're praying for this to fail just so you can rub it in everyone's face. At least that's what you apparently tried to do here.
There was nothing said by the CEO claiming 60% reduction by the way. A little too gullible.

What do you have in mind? This isn't a PolarityTE thread. It's a Scarless Healing thread so anything that promotes any sort of scarless healing can be discussed. I simply believe PolarityTE has the most potential in the near term, but who do you want to discuss? You don't just expect us to research other options for you just because you don't like the idea of Polarity right? So tell me what do you want to look to. I'm completely open to any suggestions if you can convince me it's worth looking into. Have you bothered researching other options in the first place?
2 hours ago, Rez77 said:According to some of you this is already taking place and it'll be here in 2018 --all this first quarter bullshit.
Overly optimistic people can claim completely scarless healing is here, but I didn't. In fact I don't agree with those people because it's still not 100% scarless with this company. I did claim that PolarityTE will launch their SkinTE product by the end of the year though. They registered with the FDA and didn't need to do their phase trials due to the nature of the autologous tissue they utilize. They did however insist on doing their own trials although it was not necessary. Limited commercialization with plans to gradually be expanded by the end of next year. Here's a link.
As an FDA-registered HCT/P, SkinTE may now be made available for appropriate human use in the United States. PolarityTE has initiated a controlled, limited-market release of the product to select medical institutions, and expects to accelerate commercialization in 2018 as the company scales up manufacturing efforts.
The statement above can be found on the link I've just provided.
Once anything gets successfully registered with the FDA, it is a confirmation that the product is set for market entry. So this will start going into select burn centers by the end of this year.

Nobody is forcing you to check in on this thread. When something bores me, I tend to do something else instead of continuing to do the same boring thing. That's just me. Feel free to not check in on this thread anymore or to continue checking it and boring yourself. Anyone can create a new thread as well to express their own opinions, thoughts and ideas incase you want to discuss with others who may have similar views instead of this "first quarter bullshit."

I came across something interesting that I'm sure you'd like to see.
Of note, the technology pays special attention to the edges of the wound where the real healing occurs, its not a single cell that jumps between the margins, Lough said.
They definitely care about the scarring and the most important part of the healing which is where SkinTE meets native skin because as we all know is where the scarring forms.
That text can be found in the link below.
The link can also be deemed credible and accurate with what Polarity's views, focus and values are set upon because they list that very site on their own site. Refer to the link below.

So yes they are well aware that scarring is an issue to most and they are focusing on it as the CEO stated himself in the YouTube video as well as some interviews. Your uncertainty regarding PolarityTE's focus can be put to rest.

Hi everyone,
Just popping in to share a couple of comments on behalf of the senior moderating team. Some threads within the community generate controversy and people with polar opposite opinions add their thoughts. We do receive your reports when you feel that contributions are abusive, or inappropriate in some other way, and we check them out with the community rules in mind. Sometimes we issue warnings or use other moderating tools available to us and sometimes not.
We're not here to stifle anyone's opinion nor their right to share that and what we want is for everyone to accept that others have different opinions and remain civil and non-confrontational in their replies should they choose to respond to the opinions of others. Keep in mind that lengthy exchanges do end up detracting from otherwise productive discussion.
It seems like this philosophy is being adhered to largely by you the members so thankyou for being respectful and keeping the discussion healthy and know you will be heard if you feel something is pushing boundaries.
Kind regards, Jazzguy.
QuoteDr. Lough continued, we have received tremendous interest from surgeons and other medical providers, and we are committed to executing on our manufacturing and commercialization strategy leading into 2018 to meet the significant demand we are seeing and anticipating, and to address the unmet needs of patients suffering from burns, wounds, and other defects of skin tissues.
I went to the web site with the skinTE and while it looks promising..........i want to see results. Isologen promised the world and where are they today. I hope i am wrong and the come up with something that can improve acne scarring even 50 per cent. I have already spent 1000's of dollars and nothing has helped my scarring much.

Did Isologen receive FDA approval and officially enter Hospitals and Clinics to be used on patients?
Hmm I wonder if this pilot study is directly related to the trials they said they were doing in Q3 of this year. There must have been a small delay.
It could be a separate study too where they simply want to show the comparisons between skin grafting and their product.
Perhaps they will wait on these results and publish them all together.
This sounds a lot like Recell. But hopefully its something much better and more powerful. I wonder what the costs are right now. Theres a video with the new update on youtube I'm sure you've all seen. But the curious thing about it is that they don't show any before and afters.
They would appy paste to the wound and then our skin will regenerate bottom up with margin to distinct native skin and recently regenerated skin
the margin is better than usual scarring since it is circular and more like slashed scar yet having same color unlike keloids
so gladd.. finally
it would look like shanks' scar

Well I don't know where you are even getting this margin business from. How do you even know there will be a margin scar. They don't mention it in the above video. I'm just hoping this actually works. Honestly, I'm a skeptic till i see it work, but to take them at face value this could be a wonderful invention. Now we just have to figure out if it will work for our scars. I'm assuming you guy envision some sort of protocol where we get a very strong laser surgery to burn very deep layers of our facial tissue and then apply the past which will regenerate better skin? If that works, sign me up!
But my question is: will it really look like new scarless skin? I guess it is just hard to believe till we see a before and after from a farther scale as well as close-up.
