That makes no sense maricon.
Be mature please, this is a discussion forum..... and cmon those scars are not really that matters in a life... we all want to have our skin back but please..behave
Says the person who immaturely commented on one of my posts.
I'd like to forget about acne scarring but it's just not that simple cabron.
Behave? You called someone 'weak' when they were just trying to vent. So don't confuse yourself, and behave.
*Mod edit*
This is really offending right here?
I mean seriously?
You're calling someone scarface on an acne scar forum? You're stupider than you realise and much more immature than anyone should be on these forums. Do you have acne scars? BTW, show a picture of yourself before you judge others.
Yeah, I bet you're a big time loser in real life with no friends. What kind of person goes on a forum to bash someone for no reason?
Get a life and maybe an education to learn how to speak properly.
To the other members of this forum, I apologize for this. I'm done with this clown.
If you want too talk more sh*t, do it through PM. Judging by how you treat people, your nickname should be friendsgone2017 instead.
Why is he saying things like those to you anyway?
Hi guys im new in this forum
But i read all of your informations regarding dextran hydrogel. Is ot true that it regenerates skin back to what it once was?
Thanks alot guys. Nice meeting you
Yes, it was tested against a standard control and it digested rapidly and got complete regeneration of a full thickness burn.
Here is a link to the paper that was published in the pnas: http://www.pnas.org/content/108/52/20976.full.pdf+html?with-ds=yes
So £60m was pledged for making limb regeneration a reality *within* 25 years.

Firstly, if we will be able to regenerate full limbs within 25 years, then surely we'll be able to regenerate just the skin in less time than that.
And if not, maybe they can just chop my head off and regrow it?
Could maybe produce something worthwhile. Look at this quote from the article:
"The charity Find A Better Way will support engineers, scientists, and clinicians in the research and development of the technologies needed to regenerate biological tissues, and ultimately entire limbs and joints"
So maybe skin.
I'm not eagerly anticipating it but it gives me hope. I dono, I have nothing better to do than read articles in my free time. =/
I am not aware of any stem cell therapy for acne scars and while this may be a treatment in the future, I think it is a future that is a long way off. Currently, fat transplantation is the closest thing we have to stem cell transplant. Fat transplant is a great procedure to treat volume loss in the face or off the face. Fat transfer would only be considered to treat acne scars that are in an area of large volume loss or depressed, sunken skin. Sculptra, poly-L-lactic acid, injections are great for acne scars as this product stimulates your own skin to produce a new collagen network that can lift and improve acne scars.
truth hurt my feels
If you cant live your live with your scarring situation at the moment (like me), your best course is to just kill yourselfes. Thats what i will probably do. Scarfree healing is far away and still science fiction. Truth is hard and i'm scared of being dead, but thats reality. Nature just fucks some of its creatures.
Of course we can wait and hope for a normal life in our 40s, but till then we will be crippled down to social and emotional freaks because we missed so much in our lifes.
@seabs135: but it comes from Dec 2011, is it still running until now?
Thanks for your reply before
Hopeingforacure, there was a link to a radio program Repola posted, and this said they were still testing on animals. There have been various articles posted elsewhere too that have stated that it could be used on humans 18 to 24months after the summer of 2013.
Probably shouldve burnt to death instead of emerging with 3rd degree burns on my face lol

Wait a minute! Apetwin! Don't kill yourself! Do you have hypertrophic scars? A study came out a little less than a year ago from a group of chinese researchers that says resveratrol can treat hypertrophic scars. This has got zero attention anywhere, but I found the paper of the study and I've been trying to get it across here.
Other than resveratrol, the hydrogel will likely work and it will likely be out in 4 years. My guess of the timeline is like this: Clinical trials will start in 6 months and these will take 2,5 years to approval and then 1 year from approval to market.
The hydrogel will be classed as a device and not a drug and this is why it will be quick.
What will likely happen then is that you can visit a clinic of some sort and remove your damaged skin and apply the hydrogel and new undamaged skin will emerge in a few weeks time.
And remember, you were once scar free and it meant nothing to you then, because you took it for granted. You did not bless a single second of your scar free life because you did not know what scars were or felt like. Now, I tell you, everything in life is that way. There is no life. There is nothing there, it's only an illusion. And life is short anyway and is full of pain in one form or another. Just some philosophy from me.
To sum things up, we have four things to hope for as I see it:
1. That resveratrol works. Available today.
2. That the hydrogel works. Available in 4 years.
3. That we will have eternal life by body rejuvenation in 20 years, see sens.org. This will give us time to relive our "lost years", if we want to call them that.
4. Peace of death.
Me personally I don't have facial scars and I feel great sympathy for those of you who do have that.
And another thing, I feel great disgust just looking at tattoos and I would much rather have scars than tattoos because I think tattoos are a lot more disfiguring.
The thing is, you can't just fix them. If it was that easy we would have done it. And having scars does not mean your life is in a particular way in other areas. There is nothing that says people with scars watch more porn than others or are more likely to be unemployed etc. And believe me, people here are just being honest about a situation, they are not looking for sympathy, only for information about potential future scar treatments. I am trying to make others feel better, I'm not in it for myself because my own scars cause me very little pain, because I actually have managed to improve them by taking matters into my own hands.
This is why I am spreading the word about resveratrol and it's potential to treat scars. That is me trying to "fix" things by myself, but I am acting on information provided by scientists.
There is nothing wrong with spreading the word and reach out to others in a forum.
And about "losing weight", I have a BMI of 20 already, so no need for that.
(continued)
And I do go out and take long walks in nature, I socialize as much as I want, I have a wide range of things that interests me in the world.
So stop making unfounded assumptions. Stop trying to make yourself feel better by projecting what is likely your own negative traits onto others, justaboy.
The fact is scars do negatively affect quality of life regardless of how your life is in other ways, and I do believe I have found important information about the potential of resveratrol for scar treatment, I think it is my duty to reach out with this information as an act of humanity. But you, justaboy, you could not just accept this, no you had to shit on others, you had to piss on others who try their best to help.
If you had scars yourself you likely wouldn't be so judgmental.
And about "waiting for others to give a fuck about you", the company that is developing the hydrogel is in it for the money. But in any case, we all rely on others for so much, we all rely on the work of scientists to improve our life. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do what you can yourself. But this is no different than people waiting for Apple to release a new Iphone rather than building one themselves. I don't have the resources to develop a new scar treatment in my own home. Scientific labs have those resources.
