Rez your intention is good, your sentiment is shared here by myself and has been for the best part of 3 or 4 years. However going on my experience on this thread since 2007, discussing information e.g. say something that completely regenerates 3rd degree burns (that is also scientific and proven with high quality controlled 'testable' science), gets wasted. It is like putting a sign post on a swamp. Its not effective. Some people just cant tell the difference between quality research and poor research or topics. For example people discussing quality high bar research can get this obscured by people accidently or 'even deliberately' discussing poor quality low bar topics, (e.g. needling a scar, a testimonial, or something else that is either low bar in standards like say an injection tested against saline, or discussing a nonsense mechanism that has no result you want, or discussing something that has seriously poor scientific method) alongside the high bar topics with the quality information. And all this does is obscure the high bar standard quality information. Logically its like, two shop workers working in a jewllers. One goes into storage and gets out some gold to display at the front window. The other deliberately goes into the storage and picks out some polished turd, and then, displays the turd along side the quality gold, he then argues for the inclusion of the turd alongside the gold. The only thing putting turd alongside gold achieves is obscuring the gold. It gives a false pavlovian association to some that the gold equals turd.
This might look cnutish, but quality scientific information should not share the same platform as non scientific information, self doctoring, poor topics or hearsay, as you are only going to obscure quality scientific information. To me its you either discuss one or the other on the platform, you can not discuss both on the same platform imo. Its probably a mistake in even to attempting to discuss quality information on this thread because it gets obscured. And I've had this thinking since 2009, and I've had this thinking more strengthened since around late last year, its now getting even stronger.

Someone mentioned earlier that no progress was made when it comes to cancer, I think. But I heard a seemingly true story recently about how they are basically able now to treat cancer more effectively, as 1) they are able to target every single bit of the cancer and 2) without any side effects to any other part of the patient's body. They just need to tweak the new technique before they start using it in the clinics.

Human trials will start shortly after we have entered the veterinary market. We cannot legally sell, or give away, the dextran hydrogel for wound healing until it has been approved by the FDA."
They also told me the project is getting some good support so I suspect fundings is not a problem anymore.

As for testing the hydrogel on ourselves, no, that wouldn't be illegal. Patent protection only prohibits commercial use. That being said, I think it would be best to wait for larger scale clinical trials before we do any experimentations on ourselves.

Well... if I understood a little, the formula is not so complicated to do since it is just water and sugar basically. I was thinking in make a lesion in my leg and then apply the substance but I will need take care to prevent infection. The problem is the proccess of healing is not the same the whole body. Facial skin is more sensitive and likely to form bad scars.
The other problem is to determine the deep of the scars to know at what level we have to injury the skin.
It's hard to sit and wait as the years go down.

if what you say is true, you brighten the lives of many here today, and you say that in a year and a half (including trial months now in summer) hydrogel could be for sale on the street (for veterinary use ). do not mind this for veterinary use, we can use the same is the same product (I think).
then in a year and a half could go to my trusted veterinarian and buy the hydrogel and then go to my surgeon and tell him that I apply ...
