one of your photos makes me LOL

your like "small cyst on chin"

its a tiny tiny tiny white head.

do you know what a cyst actually is?

it deforms your face and leaves a nasty scar

but congrats in getting what you regard as perfect skin. you have great skin, from the beginning to now

HAHAHAHAH THIS MADE MY DAY

I just took this from the opening post.

'Yes you can still use BP and any other acne related medications or remedies ex. Tea Tree Oil'.

Is this meant to mean excluding tea tree oil?

I wish I saw this thread earlier, I just posted a thread asking about ACV in the Scars forum.

Nice to see people seeing results from it. I plan on getting some this week.

um about the dark patches right its more like there is a dry layer on top of the previous scars its as if its slowly peeling, it only occurs on the scars. so should i stop using or decrease strength or what???hmmmm

basically people, applying ACV on you skin can cause ACIDIC burns

hence the brown marks.

just be careful. drinking it will probably work just aswell but without burning your skin

yup. i caused a few acidic burns (brown spots) after using the ACV full strength. i use two parts water with one part organic ACV now. works just fine. gives skin a very healthy glow.

drinking it becomes a chore, so i soak veggies in it (mainly cucumbers and tomatoes) and munch on them daily.

Honestly I don't have an answer for you. I suppose it either works or it doesn't  Most of the questions asked here just cannot be answered. It isn't something tested by scientists or prescribed by doctors .. just made sense to me to use it and it helped.

ACV has malic acid in it from the apples .. Malic Acid is an AHA and it does what every other AHA does exfoliate the skin. Not to mention ACV worked so great bc our skin's PH lvl is acidic. We have this acid mantle which protects our skin and most of the products we use for washing are alkaline. Those alkaline based products actually damage our skin. ACV being so acidic bring our skin back to its acidic level.

ACV IMO can be a rly useful product to use on not just your face but entire body. I plan to buy a spray bottle and just use it as a mist.

I also find that certain brands are better than others. Heinz ACV made me sick the smell was so awful I had to throw the bottle away. I shop at Stop and Shop and they carry their own ACV the smell is not bad at all and doesn't linger like the Heinz brand. So buy different ones and see which one works best for you.

If you don't feel it is working I am sorry. I have no reasoning why it wouldn't.

Good Luck to everyone 🙂

Hi...

Uhm I used ACV before, then stop for no particular reason, after awhile... got this horrible breakouts. Now, now, somehow the breakouts is manageable some acne but not like before.

My concern is I still have the ACV, and got this water solution in it... is still possible for me to use it? 'Coz got this red marks after having this breakouts. Though am on topical medication, somehow looking for added way to manage this marks. Not to mention a much cheaper version haha.

Oh also what's the best method, to wash your face on warm water with ACV or to use it as a toner? Thanks!

for those constantly asking when to put on the ACV toner

there are three reasonable choices

ONE

Before you wash your face, but you have to leave it on for about 15 minutes before you wash your face. (this is the one I do)

I can't stand knowing my face will smell if any water gets on it so I do this

TWO

If you are brave enough to face the world when water hits your face and it smells really bad then you can put it on before you put on BP, remember to wait about 15 minutes so it will dry.

THREE

some people I've read will just put it on at night AFTER they wash their face and then sleep with it on.

seriously, I REALLY DOUBT IT MATTERS WHEN YOU PUT IT ON YOUR FACE. JUST PUT IT ON YOUR FACE if you want to try it. STOP asking how would you incorporate it into your regimen.

and YES. DO continue with whatever your regimen was before just add another step to it.

I use ACV twice a day and leave it on all day and night. My red marks still take FOREVER to fade away so I don't know how leaving it on for 15 minutes would even do anything.

Did anyone watch "The Doctors" today? I was channel surfing and caught them having a brief discussion on ACV and all its benefits. It was funny b/c one doctor would mention a use for ACV and then another one would chip in and add another use. I was just waiting for someone to mention its use for acne and near the end someone finally did.

It was really brief, but she mentioned that it was good for acne and cleared pores.

I have been using ACV for a few days now, I have made a small amount and have been keeping it in the fridge. How long will it keep before I should make up some more?

What brand of ACV are you using? I've read that the supermarket brands so nothing, so I'm going to go with Bragg's ACV.

I used supermarket ACV before, and didn't really see any improvement.

Hey, would ACV get rid of this purple area on my cheek? It was originally just a slightly pink area, and I tried putting aloe vera gel on it daily for a month or so thinking the redness will go away. But all it did was making things a whole lot worse, and now this is what I ended up with.

^ Would ACV get rid of that and return my skin color back to normal, or should I try another treatment?

Also, although the picture is blurry you might be able to see how many blackheads are in that area as well. The stupid aloe vera gel caused them to appear, before I started using aloe vera I had no blackheads at all. Can ACV get rid of blackheads?

shadow, i get those weird purple spots too; they take a while to fade, but i've found applying freshly squeezed lemon juice to the spot really speeds up the process. good luck
