Ahahahahha get your flirt on girl! Ahahahah! Glad to hear your progress. Hopefully not another breakouts on pack 4 though haha. I hate how i got my moms genetics. My dad has no acne. My mom has acne but not like all over her face. She does get big cysts though but she only started getting bad acne like when she was in the early 30s i think b/c i looked at her old pics & her face was like flawless. Do you think i got her genetics?
My mom gets cysts too, big red ones on her chin and nose, she's 52 and still gets acne =( boo for me...you probably did get her genetics...I look at my mom's old pictures too and her skin looks good, but shes had acne ever since teenage years, I think pictures are deceptive, maybe they just never took a pic on their bad skin day/makeup or whatever...
Ughh girls lately i cant stop picking at my face! Im creating more scars ughh i cant stop ): i have like all my cheeks covered in acne scars of red & dark spots! Do you think itll be clear by spring time too? My acne is more severe than your because of all the scars i have. So much red and dark scars ):

I dont know, all of us are on different medications besides the BCP you're on Spiro, I'm on antibiotics, Betsy was on Accutane...and we all have different topicals, it'd be funny if it took the same amount of time for us all to get clear but I doubt it..
Ugh so I just read on the acne.org review site for Clarisonic that the "initial breakout" can last from 2 to 4 weeks...wtf...It's like initial breakout upon initial breakout...so first I have the strangest nodular acne on my jawline from the pill (about 2 on each side), of which I was picking at, and just read, it's one of the worst types of acne to pick, then I have a sprinkle of papules in between my eyebrows and some at the very top of my head that are just flattening right now. I have some type of small hypertrophic flare up right near my nose, from an old acne scar. Area around my mouth for the first time ever is clearing out. And now from the clarisonic Initial breakout, my cheeks are awash in small tiny pustules, 10 to 20, like I've never seen before, all my biggest pores on my cheeks purging of the dirt and bacteria, just a tide of tiny pimples.......
I have scars like crazy too. They just aren't prominently showns on the camera. I also have a bunch of shallow boxcar scars everywhere. Honestly , what I know works absolutely best but is so Nasty is drinking MSM. Put it in a green smoothie or in your water but mix it with lemon so it won't taste so nasty. Take that with vitamin c. Promise you'll see a difference

Shitttttttttttttttttttttttt guys I am having the most MIND NUMBING cramps right now, I just started my period (I'm 3 sugar pills in) and my stomach started acting up before new years dinner so of course I didn't get to eat alot of the feast...these cramps were so bad I was caved over on the floor, I've never felt these cramps since 10 years ago when I first started puberty...fck this birth control pill SUCKS...my other pills, no cramps 3 day periods, this pill week long periods ...oewweewwwww I'm in pain
Really? Wow I don't really get cramps that badly... I should start my cycle soon though so I'll let you know
I dont usually too, the last 2 months on this pill, my periods have been OK, this one today was really bad, but after 400 mg of Ibuprofen painkillers I feel way better..

On a random note ~~~I found out today that Ibuprofen (i.e. Advil, painkillers) has anti~inflammatory effects, it works in the same way as antibiotics to kill acne..(of course you're not supposed to use Ibuprofen as a medicine), but I just thought it was interesting, it finally explained why, in January 2011, I had my wisdom teeth pulled out, and in that 1.5 week rest period afterwards, I was taking high doses of Ibuprofen and other painkillers, and my skin was absolutely flawless (I was on no birth control pills, no antibiotics), while at the same time using self tanner on my face which is supposed to clog pores.....who knew, so I guess my pimples should die down tomorrow from the painkillers I took today...
WOW! I guess that's good to know if we have an important event or something? LOL that's so messed up. But I'd do it lol

Today was a good day but why wouldn't it be, it's the sugar pill week and I have no reason to break out...I took another 400 mg of Ibuprofen today because I felt my cramps getting bad again...and it's a good thing my skin is looking better this week, because I have about 3 more drops of my Revlon ColorStay foundation left, and it took me literally 10 minutes to get ready this morning (foundation, powder, brows, and eyes), that's how great my skin is doing. It usually takes me 15 minutes just to cover up my skin, today I just spot treated!
The initial breakout from the Clarisonic (on my cheeks) starting subsiding yesterday, so that's about a little over 1 week of initial breakout for me from this thing..And starting from yesterday I could really tell it's been making a difference with my skin...yea it helps with cleaning deeper and preventing breakouts and less irritation, but what I love the most about it is what it does for acne scars.......for example, I'm a picker, about in month 2 of the birth control pill, I was picking nodules on my jawline, squeezing them until fluid came from them....that is probably the biggest acne sin, picking something when there's nothing in it..lol...anyways, I've been using the Clarisonic 1.5 minutes per night, including my jawline now, and my scars, including the ones on the jawline, are almost light pinkish and fading quickly. ..what a relief..I should also mention my mom did not get any initial breakout from it...

no irritation, it is actually gentler than a wash cloth, my face is never red or raw after using it, it's just like a micro massage motion..also I've read a lot of reviews before I purchased it, that older woman 50 + have been using it for years and it's also used for anti aging benefits..

I'm too scared to start week 1 of the next pack without antibiotics I have a feeling that it'll be six months to get clear like that girl from before..geez...this is only the half way mark...I hate taking minocycline but I hate breaking out...

I read those a few months ago....
I find with drug reviews they're never helpful, first because there always seems to be an even amount of positive and negative reviews..one girl can be saying this is the best med shes ever been on, and it's been 12 years since she first started, and another will say it ruined her life completely...also I can never relate to those reviews, I never get nausea, I never gain weight, I don't get depressed...people who generally write reviews have something negative to say..for example I was on Yasmin with 0 problems yet that drug has a lot of bad reviews....
we just need to be optimistic that there will be no problems and everything will work out in the end.

Yeah honestly if I were pleased with something I wouldnt write a positive review, Id probably would just go on with my life. But if I were pissed, Id murder and write a negative review with their blood!
Also, Ive noticed that the people who are having bad experiences with their pills are kind of messing with it. They switch pills ALOT. Or they also don't realize that theyre body is getting used to the extra hormones. There is no magic pill, side affects do happen because our body is changing.
I have a feeling its going to be the six month mark too.... But hey we are on our forth pack and things arent SUPER bad anymore.... Time is key! Anything is better than the first pack and seeing things arent as bad with each pack so that shows signs of promise. Eventually our body WILL get used to this(:
nothing on my face is really bothering me except for the nodules on my jawline. I've never had this type of acne before (that I can remember), but they are persistent and last for weeks maybe months, and they hurt, and are weird in texture and hard and lumpy and they dont form heads.. Nodular acne..what the hell...it is annoying.
